The hostess Simone is a wonderful hospitable woman who will provide you with a wonderful evening and personal attention:) The food is beyond praise. Very tasty pasta, hot bread and homemade wine. 06/07/2024: Incredibly delicious! Family owned, true family team. Every dish was tasty- Gnochi with black truffle, baked sea bass, even meatballs were superb! Deserts need to be tried- profiterols with real chocolate on top, souffle, vanilla ice cream with cherry &almond coating- yummy! Highly recommend this restaurant, but might want to reserve in advance (small, cozy, warm atmosphere)!

24/08/2024: The perfect place in the town. Excellent food prepared by Romanian chef , served by romain server, nothing common with overrated with Trastevere. Come and joy of real italian taste!

02/08/2024: We had dinner last night with my daughter and her husband and I discovered, thanks to them, an excellent restaurant. From the appetizer to the first and second courses, all very fresh fish. Plating worthy of a great chef. Really everything was excellent. Fair prices considering the environment, service and quality of the food. Highly recommended

10/08/2024: Pranzo 10/08/2024. Trattoria trovata casualmente dovendo venire a Zagarolo per altri interessi. La responsabile di sala Michela è la definizione del vero oste, cortese gentile e precisa. Saletta molto accogliente e particolare con la sua volta scavata nel tufo. La cucina ottima. Cibo genuino e ricercato allo stesso tempo. Oltre la splendida cittadina questa trattoria vale il viaggio. ( Noi siamo arrivati da Francavilla al mare). Assolutamente soddisfatti di aver potuto conoscere una realtà gastronomica così pregiata. Personale accogliente e competente, cibo ottimo. Torneremo sicuramente

31/07/2024: Siamo appena usciti da questa splendida trattoria. Abbiamo mangiato solo piatti della tradizione . Tutto davvero squisito, i primi abbondanti e molto buoni, i secondi succulenti. La responsabile di sala,gentilissima , ci ha dato degli ottimi consigli. Peccato che siamo un po' fuori mano altrimenti verremmo qui molto spesso. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo

30/07/2024: The real Roman brewery! Super perfect environment both for the summer with the large beer garden or for the winter for the warm room inside. The service is fast. The beers are exceptional, all worth trying! The sandwiches are also quite good It would be nice to have the first courses available for dinner too. One of the best beer bars in the capital

26/08/2024: The queues of people returning from holidays sometimes prove almost providential for discovering restaurant gems, such as the trattoria in question, and very ancient villages such as Segni, which in Roman times was the city of Signia. This is the preamble to why, on a journey of almost 900 km from South to North, we left our monotonous motorway route for almost 20km, to go to lunch practically rolling the Google dice. It was undoubtedly worth it. Entering the room, very essential and dominated by stone both on the floors and on the walls, seems like a dive into the historical past of the place. If they had then asked me point blank where I had ended up, I would have replied that it was a medieval tavern. Location perhaps not very convenient, but extremely fascinating. The lady who verbally explained the menu to us, focused on dishes, was very competent of the territory, with a place of honor as an ingredient for black truffle, which does name and justice to the place. The thing that remains imprinted about this restaurant are the quality ingredients used, processed with undoubted skill. To mimic the local dialect, I would say that carbonara with truffles is poetic. If you have the opportunity it's a place to try and try again. Very high quality/price ratio and light bill. The only shame is that this restaurant is more than 500 km from home, because perhaps I would travel 100 km there just to go back to eat at the Loggia del Tartufo and see Segni more calmly.
