26/05/2025: The place itself is not bad, clean and young atmosphere. Very polite guys. But decidedly disappointing aperitifs. €10 for what should have been a Negroni, but was a glass full of ice with a few centiliters of soft drink. I had chosen the Negroni, since the Spritz had previously not convinced me much (straw yellow color and a quintal of ice). I'm sorry but I will not return. Update following response: so in the end the problem is the customer, who is not only evidently used to low-level dives, but who is so 'cheap' that he does not know that in classy places, alcoholic cocktails contain little alcohol and a lot of ice... A poor guy, basically. Well, thank you very much, nice way to treat dissatisfied customers... Another thing: the argument "if he had complained, we could have fixed it" does not hold up: 1) it encourages customers to complain and send veiled threats even when it goes well to extract something more. As in fact often happens in hotels. 2) but what does it mean? That one does his job well only if people complain? And that therefore I can allow myself to serve dishes/drinks that are not suitable, because then if someone complains, I will fix it?

24/05/2025: I come here often, practically every time I return to Rome I come here for lunch. There are two options for eating. The first is to order everything you want to eat at the counter, it is delivered to you on plates placed on trays and you take it to the terrace overlooking the lake behind the counter (air conditioned or with the windows open because there is always air) or you sit on the veranda next to the counter and there you are served by the waiter. Regardless of the choice, the porchetta is perfect, tasty and served warm to enhance its flavors. The cured meats are high quality, Tuscan and something local, the cheeses are delicious, ditto the grilled vegetables, the olives and the remaining side dishes. The buffalo mozzarella is always fresh. Yesterday I had a lasagna in addition to what I usually have and I liked it a lot. As for the desserts I don't know, because I always have either the tozzetti with wine or the ciambelline with wine. The wines don't have much selection, but I take the house one which is a red Frascati that I like. I've never had problems with the service, maybe also because I go there for lunch in the middle of the week and it's not crowded. The prices for me are more than adequate for the quality of the food which I repeat is high. For me it's always a confirmation, I go back every time and every time I get up full and satisfied.

19/05/2025: One star because it doesn't allow me to give less... I don't recommend stopping to eat here, the price is really high for a few slices of sausage. The service is better, but it depends on who you end up with. The place could be treated better. Overall I will never go back, you can't pay so much just because you can see the lake

23/03/2025: Small and well-kept bar with a wide variety of express dishes for lunch break! Even the sweets and sandwiches with vegetables are not bad. The managers are friendly and easy-going, always welcoming with the customers. I go there with pleasure

19/04/2025: Make way for young people. I went to this historic and well-stocked shop and I found a big difference between the very smart guy at the counter and the lazy and uncaring bald elderly man of his colleague. Patanegra was recommended as top, very good and exceptionally sweet veal. As I said at the beginning, make way for young people who make the difference (if older people don't like it, they can retire)

15/04/2025: In the last two months I have been to Ercoli 3 times, so I have had the opportunity to try different dishes from the menu. I fell so much in love with this little place, a very famous wine shop and delicatessen in Rome. The internal room envelops you with all the wines around and makes you relax immediately. The prices are a little high, but the quality of the meats and cheeses is really high. The first courses were also excellent, but unfortunately the last time I tried the hamburger and it was rather disappointing. At the price of €35, I was expecting something Gourmet, but everything was wrong, the meat was not cooked as I wanted it to be medium, but it arrived well cooked. Poor quality bread, cold cherry tomatoes, and everything else, i.e. robiola and chestnut leaves, nothing special. All poorly assembled, and also rather cold. In short, we're not there, I hope that this criticism of mine helps to improve the dish, because Ercoli is truly a place of my heart now and I know that you can do more!

20/05/2025: A cozy New York-style place in Pigneto. Excellent sandwiches and good quality of raw materials. We ordered a biggie and a crispy, excellent. Giulia was super nice, so the staff was super friendly. Highly recommended

31/05/2025: The shower floods the bathroom floor and the key sticks in the door, but other than that it was fantastic!! Bed was super clean and white, rooms were clean, fresh white towels and also chairs and table outside. We loved it.

11/06/2025: This beautiful hotel is located in a quiet area in the center of Rome. The service is impeccable, the employees are very kind, the breakfast is decent with good choices of savory and sweet dishes, with PIECE CLEAN rooms. I was very satisfied. BRAVO ragazzi

28/04/2025: Disappointing stay at Hotel Ludovisi. The walls are paper thin — you can hear everything from neighboring rooms, which made it hard to relax or get a good night's sleep. On top of that, they were constantly complaining about giving out complimentary water, like it was some huge favor. For the price, I expected better service and at least a basic level of comfort. Instead, it felt like they were nickel-and-diming guests at every turn. Definitely not worth it.

07/06/2025: Not too bad. A small bar in the centre of Rome. Very chill, but food and drinks were over priced I reckon. It's a walk-in bar.

25/05/2025: Respect for showing Formula 1. Service is good. Haven't tried the food. Aperol and beer are good.

11/06/2025: They make gluten-free pizza, which is great. The pizza itself is not that great, the taste is really poor. Plus, the wait is long. And no, I never had anchovy pizza, just plain cheese.

23/06/2025: the first time I came it was a pleasant experience, kind waitresses… but when I came back yesterday the unthinkable happened: while I was enjoying my tartare with confit tomatoes and stracciatella (good) the light meter started to smoke and we were left in the dark! I was very scared 🫣😱. In the end everything was ok, but we were left in the dark for a while and I couldn't look at the fantastic tartare😵‍💫 Ambient 2 because it was about to burn!

09/06/2025: Well-kept place, poor service both in the dining room and at the cash register (I come often and it's often like this, especially at the cash register), good food with prices perhaps above average. Every now and then at the cash register they gave me problems since they didn't have change to give me in cash.

20/05/2025: Pequeño café local increíble con personal amable. El barista y el cajero eran agradables y nos habló en inglés fluido y fueron muy rápidos con nuestros pedidos. En cuanto al café, compramos capuchino que eran los mejores que bebimos durante nuestra estancia en Roma y los cruasanes estaban frescos con un relleno rico. Por último, pero no menos importante, esta cafetería tiene precios justos, ya que pagamos 4. 50 € por dos capuchinos y dos croissants. Sin duda recomiendo probar los de pistacho o chocolate!

20/05/2025: Hermoso lugar acogedor con café muy agradable (pedí un macchiato y capuchino). También pedí un croissant con pistacho y uno con chocolate y ambos estaban geniales y frescos. Todo esto era muy barato y el personal era muy amable y rápido. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar!

31/03/2025: Seedy bar A morning experience that I would describe as... subdued. The proposal of croissants, evidently reminiscent of a previous day, did not meet my approval. The coffee, offered at a price that clashes with its questionable quality, left an aftertaste of dissatisfaction.
