07/06/2025: Be careful! Terrible place I had a double espresso standing behind the bar and finished it in 3 minutes. And they charged me 4.5 euros!

06/06/2025: Small restaurant close to Tiburtina station. Service not so good. At least for me. I asked for a chicken sandwich and after two bites I realized it was tuna, I said so in order to have a solution but the only thing I was told to was to say it before next time. As if I was the one in the mistake. Not so cool. They have a variety of sweets to have breakfast and a lot of different coffees if you’re looking for a place to have a little moment to rest or wait for a train or bus. Anyways, make sure you say twice what you want or you won’t be able to eat because of their probable mistake.

19/05/2025: we were passing by and stopped for lunch, the first impression was not positive but I changed my mind, the owner very kind and thoughtful, asked us what type of menu to order. We ordered a fish-based appetizer, and a first course. The appetizer included some tastings I must say very good, and the mussels; the fish was fresh and the plating perfect. As a first course, they could choose spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with scampi cream. We opted for the gnocchi and I must say that I finally ate a scampi cream like I hadn't eaten in a long time. (you could finally taste the scampi and not the cheese or cream.) I was really satisfied. I think I will go back maybe to try something else.

19/05/2025: Food was bland, portions too small. The waiter brought us water without us asking, and charged 6 euros for 2 bottles.

11/06/2025: The Light Cafè in Rome is a modern and welcoming place, ideal for both a quick breakfast and a relaxing aperitif. The environment is well-kept, with a young and pleasant style. The menu offers a good variety: quality coffee, fresh croissants, well-prepared cocktails and also options for light lunches. The staff is courteous and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. The location is also excellent, easily reachable. A perfect place for a break in company, with a lively but never chaotic atmosphere. Recommended!

08/06/2025: Terrible service, I asked for a glass of water after buying pizza by the slice and a cashier gave me two dirty shot glasses, even though the bar was full of clean and normal glasses; he also started laughing with the cashiers. Only the cashier was kind. It was the afternoon of 04/06. I feel sorry for the owner because he/she doesn't have serious staff.

25/05/2025: The food was great, but the service was bad. They completely forgot a first course. The spaghetti with clams arrived more than half an hour after everyone else had finished their dish. We asked for two bottles of water 3 times. I repeat, good food but poor service.

15/04/2025: Given such high reviews, I must have stumbled upon a bad day for the chef or his less capable substitute in the kitchen. The fish was fresh but I found the dishes tasteless, the first one was forgettable. I wouldn't go back

02/06/2025: Very nice atmosphere, courteous, patient and always smiling staff, and good music. I forgot (because it is not obvious!!!!): they also have special dishes for those who follow a vegan diet.

16/05/2025: Bar Ermete is an absolute find. The food was excellent, well priced, and served with friendly, efficient service. You can tell it’s a local favourite—people were constantly popping in and out, which is always a good sign. The gelato, in particular, was outstanding—easily some of the best we’ve had in the region. It’s clear this place is doing something right, with a mix of regulars and newcomers all enjoying the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Great value, delicious food, and a genuine local vibe. We’d definitely go back. Highly recommended.

15/03/2025: Pasticceria consigliata da una persona del posto , abbiamo prenotato due torte di compleanno , (lasciamo stare il peso… 1 kg in più , sì perché la signora ci ha risposto che mica avevano la bilancia nelle mani ?? Vabbè) Arriviamo al dunque torte esteticamente brutte stile anni 80 ma (vabbè saranno sicuramente buonissime ) macché!!! immangiabili entrambe , piene di panna e burro, senza sapore , allappava al palato e il pan di spagna era secco paragonabile al cartone . Ovviamente a quasi tutti i nostri amici non sono piaciute e non le hanno mangiate mentre i più temerari e i bambini che ne hanno mangiato più di un pezzo , durante la notte si sono alternati ad andare in bagno col mal di pancia e diarrea …. Non aggiungo altro perché non mi piace offendere . Ps il giorno della partenza ancóra tutti col mal di pancia un’altra persona del posto del posto ci ha detto :” Ma chi vi mandato lì per le torte??!” … vabbè eravamo solo di passaggio e va bene così . Sconsiglio assolutamente e nemmeno il caffè è buono!

26/04/2025: Con il movimento che c'è nella capitale in questi giorni non si può mica pretendere dagli esercenti un servizio veloce e nemmeno in buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Però uno scontrino almeno... La poverina piazzata a recitare, non senza imbarazzo, questa triste scenetta mi dice: " mi dispiace, il registratore di cassa è fuori uso". "Che sfortuna" dico io " proprio oggi con tutti questi clienti ... vabè, posso pagare con carta?" Lei mi dice:" No, anche il pos è fuori uso". E allora è veramente sfortuna! Ho pensato che stavano rischiando di prendere una bella multa e che forse era il caso di avvisare chi di dovere che non si trattava di evasione fiscale ma solo di una serie di sfortunati inconvenienti tecnici. Di sicuro saranno comprensivi.

06/06/2025: We were assured on the phone that they would show a football match on the screens, but once there there was a tennis match. We told them about it, and they replied that once the tennis match was over (which then lasted another good hour) they would put on the other one. Truly unprofessional behavior.

18/05/2025: La mia recensione non è positiva perchè le porzioni sono esigue per il prezzo offerto. 5 alici fritte 11€ qualità buona, la fegola con 1 gambero e mezzo (testa e un pezzettino di corpo) 4 cozze e 10 pezzettini da 1 cm di totano. La fregola sembra fatta in casa, ma sovrasta il sapore del pesce che è poco e congelato (gamberi e calamari). La mia porzione era di circa 70/80 grammi. Prezzo 18€. Dolci, sebadas buona e quantità standard. Prezzo 8€ piú alto della media, crostata ricotta e visciole, fondo un pó crudo, ma buona la qualità la porzione ridicola il lato piú largo della crostata era di circa 4 cm, sempre 8€. Premetto che questi prezzi si hanno nelle pasticcerie tipo Massari, con quantità e location piú prestiggiose. Regalano come benvenuto 2 fritti di pasta pizza con pecorino e visto che si erano persi la comanda ci hanno omaggiato di un piattino piccolo di olive e tre mini cubetti di frittata. A mio giudizio si perdono in un bicchiere d'acqua, la qualità c'è ma deve essere rapportata alla corretta quantitá. Bastava solo in pochino in piú di tutto per farci tornare. Tra l'altro quando mi sono lamentata, ho capito che non ero la sola a fare questo tipo di rimostranze...

12/05/2025: Abbiamo mangiato bene, all'aperto, prendendo sia piatti nel menù che piatti del giorno indicati sulla lavagna, servizio cordiale, una nota particolare: le pallotte cacio e ova, molto diverse da quelle abruzzesi sono piccole e soffici e vengono servite con una salsina a base di peperoni. A rendere speciale la festa della mamma, un bel concerto jazz.

01/06/2025: Great coffee... A glass of sparkling water, a hot cup and a short, tasty and not burnt coffee. For those who have a culture of good coffee and notice certain details.

20/06/2025: The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is poorly, and the food is a an expensive JOKE. I’ve ordered the rice bowl with vegetables. A 10-year-old could have made it better. Is the chef on vacation? Boiled rice with boring vegetables from (from the fridge?) no salt no sauce. not even beautifully arranged. Imagine a dish at a cheap yoga retreat.

19/06/2025: Amazing food - disappointing service however. We weren’t asked if we wanted to be seated inside or outside, after first being looked like a bunch of intruders. After asking to move inside the atmosphere wasn’t pleasant, the waitress was annoyed. The process of ordering, receiving the food and then finally paying wasn’t efficient. Waiting times too long. Food was cold, which also is a sign that the order was waiting too long in the kitchen. The food itself however was very tasty. So at least the kitchen know what their doing.
