01/07/2024: This fish-only restaurant is located in the nightlife area, called TESTACCIO, in the heart of Rome near the Tiber. Having a celiac wife, I'm always looking for somewhere new. When we have to book we say to ourselves: is an old and well-known restaurant better or should we try and take a risk with a new one? This place was a pleasant surprise. I tasted right here, for the first time, spaghetti with sea urchin pulp (my passion that I share with Inspector Montalbano), strictly fresh (they have them sent from Sicily). A very valid alternative is the Fisherman's Pan with fresh pasta and a rich mix of fish. The appetizers are all good, cooked for me and raw for those who love them 😁 to conclude you have to find a little space in your tummy to taste the various types of ORIGINAL APULIAN PASTICCIOTTI. 12/08/2024: The pasta was chewy and had an unpleasant, plasticky texture, two stars for the manager for trying to make amends by offering complimentary cheesecake, I would order the cheesecake there but not the pasta.

10/08/2024: Very bad experience. We arrive with little time given the imminent departure of our train. We were told that in 5 minutes they would serve us a plate of pasta. After 20 minutes we are still waiting and are forced to leave. And I'm already wondering: why lie? Why not clearly say "I'm sorry, but making a carbonara takes at least 15 minutes"? We ask that you take the two carbonaras ordered as take away. Fortunately, I realize that they also made us pay the cover charge (total of 32 euros for two carbonaras and two natural mezze), for a service I never received. I ask, and I get a refund. The last hopes remain hanging on this take away carbonara which we eat immediately. Very bad, it makes me think of a tourist trap. No flavour, I don't taste the pecorino, the bacon is burnt. But perhaps I am the one who has little tolerance for bad faith...

31/07/2024: Excellent establishment, pleasant barista, speaks good English, recommended excellent options for Italian pastries, and told the history of the name and where these desserts come from. The coffee is great, the service is fast. The cafeteria is clean with a cool Italian vibe. Great choice for breakfast. The photo shows an order for 5.50 euros.

06/07/2024: Been visiting Rome for a week and lived in the same building as this cafe, naturally went there almost every morning. Coffee is good, pasteries are good and there are enough of options. Staff is friendly.

14/08/2024: Stunning ! The food was one of the best I ever had in Rome. Forget about those Tiktok or IG trends. This place is beautiful n delicious. The service is good and (at least mine) waitresses spoke English. The menu was available in English as well. It has 3 ambiances: coffee outdoors, coffee indoors, and restaurant. Enter the galleria after your meal/coffee break. As it has AC available, it's ideal for those hot days in summer. Hightly reccomended. 🥰

13/07/2024: Terrible, absurd rudeness and rudeness... Rude rudeness, in short, not exactly the right name for this place... We were completely chased away by the glass holder who told us that he needed chairs... We comfortably got up and went go... Upon payment they made us pay not only the ginseng but also three glasses of still water with three ice cubes.... absurd €0.30 each.... Not even in Rome in Rome do they give you sparkling water without paying...but it's not for the €0.90 it's on principle.... Water is not denied to anyone!!! I'm speechless, a shame.... really terrible...

15/07/2024: Absolutely no idea what the bad reviews are talking about as the bar owners are some of the only nice & inviting people for tourists in the area. This is a family owned bar with fair prices, the owner Chris was so inviting and friendly! We made this our regular spot to stop for drinks as the conversation was great and we were recommended things to do in the area. The bar is closed on Mondays but open every other day. As a tourist it was honestly very rare to find places where we felt welcome and Chris was amazing for this! If I were to return, this would be my first stop in Rome.
