Frattina In Roma

As for the coffee shop, I have to say it's best to avoid any contact, especially with the coffee. The waiters and baristas are friendly, but if I had to choose a coffee shop, I'd probably go somewhere else. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Had lunch here. The sandwiches were very tasty, fresh bread and delicious ingredients. Chips and crackers were provided for free. Service was fine, though not extremely fast. Nice mist fans!

After wandering through the beautiful streets of Rome, we stopped for a drink and found this perfect spot to breathe, relax, and people-watch while continuing with your day. A delightful aroma. Something I really loved about the place was the friendliness of the waiter; he even took our picture, haha, and took the time to do it. But here's the story: We stopped for drinks and ended up having a meal. Bar Frattina is one of the most well-known historic cafes in the center of Rome. It opened its doors in 1956 and, since then, has been a meeting point for Romans, artists, writers, and travelers strolling along the elegant Via Frattina, just steps from the Spanish Steps. Today, it maintains that classic Roman atmosphere and is an ideal place to take a break after browsing the boutiques of Via Frattina or visiting the Spanish Steps. It's known for its espresso, cappuccinos, aperitifs, and for serving traditional Roman dishes like carbonara, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, and gricia, in addition to a menu that changes daily with fresh ingredients. Instagram tagline could be: “In Rome, even a coffee shop has a story. Bar Frattina has been watching artists, travelers, and dreamers pass through one of the Eternal City's most elegant streets for almost seven decades. ☕🇮🇹”

It's become a regular stop for me, initially just because it's close to my workplace, making it perfect for a quick lunch break. Now, however, I go there also for the truly exceptional food, but above all for the attentiveness and kindness of all the staff, who always treat me wonderfully, even when they're inundated with requests. I highly recommend it to everyone!

We only had coffee at this bar, at the counter. The coffee was good and accompanied by a glass of sparkling water. The coffee was reasonably priced. The service was quick. We saw a wide selection of sandwiches, tramezzini, various fruit salads, ice creams, and various desserts. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

I would go here every morning for my first coffee of the day and a croissant because they were the first to open. The quality was good and the staff were very nice. They also have protein bars and convenience items.

I have no idea why they have low reviews. This place was such a savior for us during our Rome trip!! They have fresh patisserie, perfect cappuccino and very kind stuff. We tried different sweets and sandwiches too and they were all delicious ☺️

Nice coffee and awesome panini to start your day in the alleys of Rome!

This bar is located in the heart of Rome, just steps from Piazza Navona. The menu offers a good variety, and the service is fast and friendly. The quality/price ratio is average.

It's a nice bar in a fantastic location. We had lunch outside on a hot day. The umbrellas provided good shade. The street is very busy; it's impossible to get bored. We had salads for lunch, and they were good. The service was so-so. The waiter was efficient but had no sense of humor. The restrooms were dirty, which is unusual for Rome. The prices were reasonable.
