15/03/2026: Last night I was in Genzano with 10 other friends for a training course, and we made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant: we ate divinely! As a vegan, I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of their efforts to prepare something original and delicious for me...which is definitely not a given. The location is truly unique, and the staff is friendly and welcoming! A truly wonderful discovery!

22/02/2026: My partner, my son, and I had lunch today. The welcome was very friendly, but the food was mind-blowingly good value. An appetizer on a board with a couple of slices of cold cuts each (ham, mortadella, loin, salami), a bowl of ricotta, and a slice of mortadella each, cooked on the grill, cost €45. Then the first courses arrived, no comment... the ingredients were low-quality... we basically got up, paid the €95 bill, and ran away. There was just something to discuss, but given the small place and the people who were eating, I preferred to leave. I won't add anything else, even if there is something to say...

29/06/2026: I came here by chance when Dominot Antonio Iacono was still on Earth, "Il Carosello". I've been looking for this bar for such a long time, the first time I ever came to Rome in 2010, I had a 24-hour window in which to see the city, after a fly-by visit of the major sites we started our evening here and I had the most magical conversation with Dominot and several cocktails... The posters of his achievements hung on the walls, I realise that the man I was speaking to was the female lead in the posters. It was probably one of the most magical 24 hours of my life and I'm very grateful that this incredibly historical bar and Dominot were a part of it. If you come here, it's steeped in artistic history, it's not something to be rated based on its service or otherwise... It's a magical place, a secret place, a place that existed before social media and armchair critiques. Enjoy it!

31/03/2026: I came for dinner with some colleagues. I can understand the restaurant being empty on a Tuesday night. But the incredibly slow service with only one table of 10 in the entire room, no. I ordered a carbonara, which was incredibly salty; I had to leave it to avoid feeling ill. The colleagues who ordered burgers reported that it was cold and had frozen fries. The staff was distracted. I tried asking for bread, and the man at the bar had his back turned with earphones in. I had to wave and shout to get attention. Unfortunately, they think they can afford such enormous shortcomings in food and service using the location as an excuse. What a disappointment.

21/03/2026: During our visit to the park, we enjoyed a delicious cappuccino and a pleasant chat in the sunshine. The service was incredibly friendly and quick, a welcome change after the rather gloomy atmosphere of the villa.

03/05/2026: The service was extremely poor. I simply asked for some Parmesan with my pasta, but I couldn’t find our waiter. I repeatedly asked different staff members, and each time I was told “one moment,” yet nothing happened. When the Parmesan finally arrived, it contained insects, which was completely unacceptable. After that, no replacement was brought. When I followed up, I was told they had “asked the kitchen,” but nothing further was done. Overall, an appalling experience.

24/05/2026: Terrible, impolite service. Endless wait, one menu card for two guests, endless wait for food, endless wait to pay. Not on smile or friendly word.

19/03/2026: They have both deviled and spit-roasted chicken, seasoned with salt and chili pepper. The pizza and bread are delicious. Local milk is expensive; €2 a liter seems excessive. Overall, 5 stars. Recommended. UPDATE 03/14/2026 I wanted to buy the spit-roasted chicken, but I was told they only make deviled chicken. Bottom line: the chicken is old and hard to eat. I'm updating my review to negative. You're fooling yourselves, not the customers. 0 stars across the board. Highly not recommended.

20/07/2026: They don't provide the Wi-Fi password. A shame for customers who pay a lot for the service. The air conditioning works quite poorly. The food isn't bad, although it's rather expensive.

23/07/2026: I thought I'd entrusted the cake to professionals. Huge disappointment. They don't even read the orders. They make the cake their way. I ordered a round cake with Chantilly cream and chocolate chips. When I picked it up, they brought me a square cake with zabaglione cream and fruit as a decoration. I complained, and the staff replied, "Ma'am, we can talk for two hours, but this is the cake. If you want it, I'll give you a discount, otherwise, they leave it." They assured me that the inside was Chantilly cream, so at my request, they removed the fruit and added dollops of whipped cream to fix it. I went home and after dinner I cut the cake, which wasn't Chantilly cream but zabaglione, which no one in my house likes. My birthday was practically ruined. I'll never go back.

17/05/2026: I do not recommend this place. Beyond the reception area, it felt more like a hospital than a hotel. My friend and I stayed here for two nights, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The bedding was uncomfortable, there were no proper duvets, just random blankets stuffed into sheets that weren’t even fitted properly. The floors were dirty, and the bathroom door didn’t have a lock. Thin walls, just horrible basically. Stay elsewhere, literally anywhere else lol

23/04/2026: Unfortunately, even though the service was excellent—the staff were all extremely friendly—and the location was excellent, I have to give the property one star for value. There was noise both inside and especially outside day and night, and finally, the bed had a very hard and uncomfortable mattress.
