I came here by chance when Dominot Antonio Iacono was still on Earth, "Il Carosello". I've been looking for this bar for such a long time, the first time I ever came to Rome in 2010, I had a 24-hour window in which to see the city, after a fly-by visit of the major sites we started our evening here and I had the most magical conversation with Dominot and several cocktails... The posters of his achievements hung on the walls, I realise that the man I was speaking to was the female lead in the posters. It was probably one of the most magical 24 hours of my life and I'm very grateful that this incredibly historical bar and Dominot were a part of it. If you come here, it's steeped in artistic history, it's not something to be rated based on its service or otherwise... It's a magical place, a secret place, a place that existed before social media and armchair critiques. Enjoy it!
