I came alone during the heatwave of June 2026 for lunch. I sat outside under the misting lights, which was very pleasant. I ordered prosciutto and melon and some wine. The service was excellent, and the food was even better. The restaurant also had great views of St. Peter's Basilica. A good place for a quick and inexpensive meal near St. Peter's Square in Vatican City, Rome. The waitress serving the dishes at the bar is very friendly, explaining the ingredients in each dish and providing excellent and fast service. You simply bring a tray, order your food, and pay at the end of the bar.

11/06/2026: We went to this restaurant without a reservation, and I think we lucked out with a free spot because there were so many people there that we couldn't get a table later—everyone was taken. 😊. Very good food, friendly service. We were very pleased. 👍👍👍
10/06/2026: Went for lunch with the buffet formula! Varied and good food! Very satisfied for 11 euros with water and coffee! Friendly and fast staff, very expeditious, which is reasonable, considering the number of people! Beautiful and well-kept place, very clean, paid parking!

08/09/2025: It looks like a stable because of how dirty it is! The food is decent, though. The owner is super arrogant. I go there because Luigi is a nice guy.
10/08/2025: Authentic Roman trattoria serving meat, fish, and pizza. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, and they're a regular, albeit occasional, stop for everyone.
