12/03/2026: The place is really cute and cozy, located just steps from the Colosseum, making it perfect for a break during a sightseeing tour. I ordered a classic supplì and a carbonara one, both very good and well-fried. For dessert, I chose the tiramisu, which turned out to be truly excellent. Unfortunately, the pasta was a complete FAIL. When it was served, I immediately expressed my discomfort, asking if it was really the right dish. Unfortunately, it was, so I politely asked to take away the dish, which was practically "untouched." The pasta was overcooked, and the guanciale was cooked directly in the sauce, giving it a flavor similar to stewed meat. Furthermore, the tomato sauce was very runny, whereas one would expect a thick, full-bodied consistency. What's called "amatriciana" here simply can't be called that; they should rename it "pasta with sauce and guanciale." Truly, very unpleasant to the palate. Finally, when it came to the bill, there was no discount, as I expected, and at least a "sorry" from the staff would have been appropriate. In short, I will NEVER go back!

08/06/2026: Luckily, I found a parking spot inside, otherwise it would have been a bit complicated. Anyway, it's a nice, busy place; there's even a dedicated area for children, which is fantastic. The food is quite good, except for a few waiters who got our orders wrong, which is completely understandable given the super busy evening.

28/05/2026: I went with my family, the appetizers didn't excite us, the first courses tasted of nothing, the seasoning was missing and the meat couldn't be chewed, we paid a lot, especially for how it went, it's a shame but honestly I wouldn't recommend it.

08/06/2026: A small bar, perfect for starting the day. With a few pastries, paninis, and Aperol Spritz, you create the perfect foundation for a relaxing day in Lido. They don't offer a huge selection of drinks, but those they do have are delicious.

29/06/2026: A COMPLETE disappointment! Foreword: We've been going to this place for years, practically since it opened, and on Saturday night we wanted to go back. They changed the menu about a year ago, and since I'm quite close with the owner, he told me that if I wanted a sandwich that wasn't on the new menu, I just had to ask. Perfect, I asked, and chaos ensued in a matter of minutes. Let me explain: first, an addition was requested for another sandwich (as always) that was no longer possible, according to the new waiter. He told us that he'd never been asked for anything like that (an extra burger in the sandwich that we would OBVIOUSLY have paid for, AS ALWAYS; he wasn't asked for anything out of this world). He panicked and started going around between the kitchen and his colleague in charge, but let's ignore it. I asked him, as the owner told me, if I could make a sandwich off the menu that was part of the old one, which means they were churning out enough of them in the kitchen (I'll add that I WOULD HAVE PAID THE PRICE OF THE OLD MENU, I DIDN'T WANT ANYTHING FREE). Hence the frenzy on everyone's part, the 'new manager since February' tried to call the owner to ask if it could be done. From the kitchen came shouts as if they could afford it, and the chef added 'this one wants the off-menu, who is this, with 20 sandwiches on the menu, wants the off-menu, I don't even remember how to do it'. I don't know if the intent was to make herself heard, but it was heard loud and clear. After so many years as customers and so many memberships, honestly they could have done without this rudeness. Obviously we got up and left, and you can be sure we'll never set foot in there again. My sincere advice: rather than changing staff so often (because all the girls who were there before were fantastic and knew us), change the chef! When we're craving a sandwich, I know for sure where we won't be returning.

13/06/2026: Friendly and fast service. We asked for a change for our 5-year-old daughter's dinner, and they accommodated us with kindness and availability. This place continues to be a great place to stay, even after years. Well done!!

16/05/2026: No menu or prices, slow service, and above all, rudeness and a lack of empathy. In our opinion, it's not worth it.

10/05/2026: Definitely out of proportion between quality and price. There was no menu; the owner came to list the dishes and didn't mention the price. €62 for two spaghetti with clams and a plate of fried shrimp and calamari (the latter weren't even very fresh). Not to mention the service; we had to ask for things at least twice and wait a total of two and a half hours (the restaurant wasn't even full). Disappointing.

02/07/2026: The food is good, but the service and atmosphere leave much to be desired. When a customer comes in and asks for a small croissant with a little cream, the employee shouldn't make a stupid joke, but should respect the customer's request, because there are various reasons for asking for a small croissant with cream. It's normal for a small croissant to have little cream, small croissants with cream are a disaster, and I don't see why I should come out with stupid jokes. I must have a reason, and the reason is to not overdo the sweets for my health, which I'm not going to explain here to the unintelligent employee, and the only dessert I have is in the morning. So, as an employee from Casoria, you should make jokes about everyone who orders a small croissant with cream, but you don't because you're unintelligent. Intelligent people are those who come in and smile with a genuine smile that attracts customers, not turns them away. Everyone should be served equally, because you don't know what you'll find in a customer, even if they're poorly dressed. From now on, when I walk into this bar and find this person, I'll get out. I'll go to another bar, and they should thank me again for continuing to come in. Don't say it's just a joke. As I wrote before, anyone who asks for something should be asked with a smile. If you were at my place of work, you'd already be out because customers deserve respect. If you were a friend, I'd accept the joke, but since you're a stranger, you shouldn't introduce yourself this way. I hope this person is done for. Have a good day.

14/06/2026: Delightful breakfast. The croissant dell’imperatore meet my expectations. Others in my group ordered an omelette and felt it was undercooked. Overall, a nice cozy restaurant to have an Italian breakfast.

01/07/2026: I go there every now and then, but unfortunately, every time I ask for a double espresso, the morning barista basically serves me a regular coffee. I've tried going back several times, hoping it would be different, but nothing has changed. I won't be going back again.

09/06/2026: Family atmosphere, excellent service, and top-quality food, highly recommended. Come in and you'll feel right at home. The latest addition, "il pasticciotto," is exceptional, with cream and black cherry.

07/07/2026: Here I tried the authentic porchetta di Ariccia with typical local products, including cured meats and niche cheeses, excellent wine, and overall everything was good. The highlight was the outdoor seating surrounded by greenery, overlooking the lake. I recommend it if you're passing through.
