03/07/2025: Fantastic evening….I just left the Firriato tasting and I have to say that the guys were really good…the pairings were spot on….and the guys at Firriato were very nice in entertaining us between courses. We will be back

02/07/2025: Un’esperienza di mare indimenticabile! Sono stato in questo ristorante per una cena speciale e posso dire senza esitazioni che è stato tutto perfetto. Il pesce è freschissimo, cucinato con maestria e presentato con grande cura. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di crudi semplicemente eccellente: ostriche, tartare e gamberi che si scioglievano in bocca. Come primo abbiamo scelto i paccheri allo scoglio — saporiti, abbondanti e con un profumo di mare autentico. Il secondo, una grigliata mista di pesce, era cotto alla perfezione, accompagnato da verdure fresche e ben condite. Servizio impeccabile: personale cortese, attento e molto preparato nel consigliare abbinamenti e vini. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca qualità, atmosfera e sapori autentici del mare. Torneremo sicuramente!

24/07/2025: The outside tables were too close together. Despite constant and polite prompting, the staff was slow and unfriendly. The milkshakes weren't the right consistency, more like cold drinks.

21/07/2025: Great location, the waitress was very nice and helpful. The Aperol Spritz was too sweet, but I poured two glasses of prosecco and it was drinkable ;)

18/07/2025: Reasonable prices, amazing view on the water, and absolutely delicious food. But most of all fantastic service! The waiter was an absolute gem who took great care of us, and the entire staff was extremely attentive without being the least bit overbearing. Highly recommend!!!

11/06/2025: VERY RUDE! They practically kicked me out, because I was with my dog. The young guys are also polite, but the old ones, especially the two bald ones (one at the cash register and the other making cappuccinos, also very good at making coffee) are really rude. Something similar had already happened, while I was with a friend of mine and my dog. IT IS DEFINITELY NOT A PET FRIENDLY PLACE. I don't even know why I gave this place a second chance, in fact in the area there are much better bars and pastry shops. I ADVISE YOU TO GO TO ANOTHER BAR, especially if you have a dog!!

01/06/2025: Outstanding croissants, both brioche and puff pastry. Creams, jams, everything excellent and even the coffee. A few more smiles and I'll come more often, even if I'm far away!

24/06/2025: Outdoor aperitif. Good cocktails, well prepared and well served. A little "passatelli", but still edible the sandwiches and accompanying pizzas. Professionalism and courtesy in the service.

23/03/2025: A small, well-kept bar with a wide variety of freshly made lunch dishes! The desserts and vegetable sandwiches are also excellent. The owners are friendly and approachable, always welcoming their customers. I'm happy to go there.

15/03/2025: Notre hôtel ne proposait pas de petits déjeuners, nous avons trouvé cette adresse à proximité au top ! Grande variété, supers cafés, jus d oranges pressés. Très bon accueil, personnel sympathique, pas besoin de parler italien, on arrive à se comprendre! Prix pas excessifs, pas trop touristiques donc pas hyper fréquenté, un + pour bien commencer la journée!

29/06/2025: I've been to the place in question several times, more than once I wasn't satisfied, but there's a limit to everything. We sit at a table, I go inside to see the beer list and before I've even had time to enter I'm confronted, not in a very nice way with an "it's busy" (not a sorry, not a sorry, no, a very direct busy) which at the time I don't even understand what they're referring to since the two of them weren't able to express a concept in more than two words. I understand that they're referring to the table and we move to the one next door, which is practically the same thing. I tell the guy, who is the same and he tells me that that one was set (but understanding the importance of the staff I understand that for him two tablecloths and handkerchiefs arranged in a pyramid are equivalent to having set the table). I go back inside to read the beers and the boy is there talking to his colleague in the kitchen, telling the story and adding that, in his opinion (but you could already tell the guy's level of imagination before) he was "about to put his hands on me". I point out that I'm behind him and that I can hear him. Classic excuses that lead nowhere. I grab my things and we leave. I should have already left a bad review because they delivered a burnt sandwich to me twice, but I let it go because I've never had these problems at the place, but as I said there's a limit to everything. I'm hiring more prepared staff or at least ones who don't think they're at school during recess.

17/07/2025: A nice cafe with delicious coffee and pastries and confectionery to choose from. The wonderful staff deserves special praise.

15/06/2025: Caretta e' una pasticceria storica del quartiere, rinnovata negli ultimi anni con l'aggiunta del locale bar e recentemente con tavoli esterni verandati sia per l'estate che per l'inverno. Il locale e' gestito personalmente dalla famiglia proprietaria. Personale molto gentile e veloce e grande attenzione al cliente e alla qualita'. Dolci buonissimi pronti e su ordinazione. Prezzi a mio parere leggermente sopra il normale ma giustificati dall'eccellente qualita' e varieta'. Il posto giusto dove lasciarsi andare a dei peccati di gola! Bravi!!

06/08/2025: freuento questo posto da anni ....che dire....Ci sono luoghi che non sono solo bistrot, ma piccole oasi dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Questo è uno di quelli. Varcata la soglia, si respira un'energia d'altri tempi, fatta di scaffali carichi di libri che hanno respirato storie, messi a disposizione dalla sensibilità artistica del signor Roberto, il proprietario. Lui stesso, un artista, ha saputo infondere in ogni angolo un pezzo della sua anima. Al bancone, potresti essere servito dalla signora Lia, che con poche e sapienti parole, ha il dono di farti sentire subito a casa. C'è Alda, il cui sorriso illumina anche i momenti di serietà, e la bellissima Giulia, una mora affascinante, che a volte è accompagnata dalla figlia, ancora più splendida. Se siete fortunati, seduti al bancone, potrete incontrare Mauro, un uomo la cui storia è un libro da sfogliare , un racconto che vi lascio il piacere di scoprire😁 E in cucina c'è il tocco magico della bellissima Marina che trasforma ogni piatto in un'esperienza deliziosa. Praticamente l appia antica caffè è Luogo Magico da Vivere Ogni singolo membro dello staff, con la sua unicità, contribuisce a rendere questo bistrot un luogo davvero magico. È un rifugio dove ogni dettaglio è curato e ogni persona è un piccolo tesoro da scoprire. Ma la magia non finisce qui. Per chi desidera esplorare, il bistrot offre anche un servizio di noleggio biciclette, con uno staff altrettanto fantastico hanno sia bici tradizionali che elettriche, e organizzano Tours guidati...l'occasione perfetta per pedalare lungo l'antica Via Appia e acquedotti romani e ammirare le sue rovine in totale libertà. Consigliatissimo, un'esperienza che nutre il corpo e l'anima.

08/07/2025: davvero pessimo. la pizza aveva sicuramente piu di un giorno,il pollo era davvero troppo speziato. ho chiesto piu di una volta di scaldare la pizza ma non lo hanno fatto,davvero terribile. mai piu🤮

Il servizio del risotto è stato impeccabile come sempre, tagliere di terra per due e carpaccio di porcini veramente ottimi, poi siamo passati direttamente ai secondi. Lei ha preso delle lumache e io spezzatino di carne ai porcini. Condimenti perfetti di sale e piccantezza. Alla fine gli amari offerti da loro. Prezzo assolutamente congruo alle pietanze consumate. Consiglio assolutamente il ristorante, e consiglio soprattutto la prenotazione

14/07/2025: Ordered an espresso but it was nothing special. The taste was normal. I went there around 4pm and it was crowded. If you want to drink your coffee at a table you need to order at least a water but you can stand and drink.

13/07/2025: It was delicious. I ate it hanging on the bar. I was careful of the people behind me so I ate quickly and left. The granita was good.

24/07/2025: Terrible experience as I have tried 3 different rooms one after the other, and NONE of them were actually cleaned, with multiple things totally disgusting like death mosquitos and hairs on the ground of the bathroom No kattle or coffee machine in the room, but at least the bed was confortable to sleep in The gym is decent and definitely a pro for the experience, however the breakfast have limited choices but overall fine

20/07/2025: I booked a triple room using a promotion and paid around €150. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was good, and the room was very soundproof. The location near the EUR district was perfect for me. The only thing that could be improved was having more space to put my suitcases.
