27/03/2025: The best croissants in the area... good, hot and always available, excellent coffee and cappuccino too. Not like the other bars that at 9.30 tell you that there is only wholemeal with honey left! Always friendly staff!

22/09/2025: We frequented the bar for breakfast, where the food was good and the service was courteous. There's plenty of other options available, using local produce, in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The historic center is just a short walk away. Recommended.

08/08/2025: I haven't been eating here since a month ago, when my husband and I had dinner. The prices were sky-high, the service was poor, the quantities were moderate to low, and the quality was average, not excellent. I expected more than I had two years ago. And to be fair, since I'm sensitive to digestion, I slept terribly, probably due to preservatives that weren't listed on the menu.

19/09/2025: Trieste's historic pastry shop with plenty of outdoor seating and a small one inside. Excellent service, and the waitresses were very kind! Prices were also reasonable.
The desserts were delicious, and the coffee was always served with a small glass of hot chocolate.
16/09/2025: I can only recommend the patisserie. Try to get a place inside to get feeling about the place. It's a bit like a well functioning beehive.
The sweets and hot chocolate were amazing and the prices very reasonable.

30/09/2025: On a rainy day with friends, they welcomed us with a smile and served excellent appetizers and imaginative snacks. We enjoyed them with a wonderful panoramic view of Shell Island and the lighthouse.

03/10/2025: We had a fried food for 2, dry, tasteless, color that doesn't suit fried food, as a first course we had risotto with courgette flowers and prawns, maybe it was hunger, the rice was edible, quantities are abundant, flavors are very poor and poorly preserved and prepared, I will never go back there again

They have rotating specials which are always interesting and fun
08/09/2025: The place is modest, very crowded even on a weekday. We chose seafood dishes: the spaghetti allo scoglio was cooked al dente and very rich, and the fried fish was good and dry. The bill was reasonable.

26/08/2025: What delicious gelato! I have some favorite flavors, but I'm always trying new ones, and they're all delicious! The staff is super nice, kind, and friendly! Their cookies, waffles, and cones are also delicious—in short, a great place for a sweet break! I've even gotten tubs to eat at home several times. 😋

22/08/2025: Having been teased about a forgotten bag, I accidentally left one at the table. I heard the waitress (after kindly calling us to remind us) making jokes with the customers sitting behind us at the same table after asking where it had been left. We apologize if, after drinking at your bar, we were feeling relaxed and had more rounds of drinks than expected, so much so that we forgot about a bag of little value.

14/09/2025: I've traveled extensively throughout Italy, especially the South, but the pizza I ate at Tschurwald is unparalleled. The dough and cooking are beyond excellent; the ingredients are standard and of the highest quality. The sliced meat is sublime.
The price is in line with the setting.
I'll definitely be back!!!

We had one of the best seasonal mushroom risottos, and the same goes for the tiramisu.
A great place to eat.
