16/07/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant and were truly satisfied. We ordered seafood and were impressed by the excellent quality of the ingredients: fresh fish, very well cooked, and incredibly flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable and fully in line with the quality offered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent seafood in Trieste.

13/07/2026: An excellent experience just steps from Piazza Unità. Generous dishes, good quality, and courteous service. We ordered the large hot and cold antipasto (special mention for the creamed cod) and the large Malcanton fritto misto (a very generous dish, not suitable for those with a light appetite), all washed down with a nice Prosecco (Col de Mez). Prices were reasonable and clearly displayed.

16/04/2026: Wonderful, non-commercial pub. Drink excellent beer, enjoy a focaccia, and listen to quality music. It's the perfect place to unwind.

26/10/2025: First visited this pub when it opened around 1997, it was the only place in town where you coukd get a good pint of beer/Guinness. It's a quirky Irish themed pub in Italy, great atmosphere with good music playing in the background. A big bonus is when you buy around you get a load of snacks for free! Well worth a visit if you're in Pordenone.

02/05/2026: A welcoming place dedicated to local Wolf products, as well as other delicacies that vary seasonally. A selection of excellent wines, beautifully displayed on a giant blackboard. The dishes are freshly made, carefully prepared, and made with fresh ingredients. All prices are displayed. The owner is the real asset: friendly, approachable, and always attentive to her customers. A place we go often. Generous appetizers, which I would describe as "reinforced." It's worth noting that you can buy what you consume. Highly recommended!

02/05/2026: Speck & Wine is one of those places that, as soon as you enter, makes you know you're in the right place. The atmosphere is warm, refined, yet unpretentious, and proudly celebrates the region's excellence. Here, Friuli isn't just told: it's served on the plate and in the glass. The wine selection ranges from regional wines to the best of national wines. The real strength, however, is the quality of the traditional products. The carefully sliced ​​Sauris speck is fragrant, soft, and with that smoky note that captivates at first bite. Carnia cheeses complete the experience. The platters are a mini gastronomic journey, balanced and generous. Speck & Wine is the perfect place for a quality aperitif, a tasting with friends, or to purchase local products to take home. You always leave feeling like you've tasted something authentic, profoundly Friulian. A place that celebrates the region with passion and authenticity. Highly recommended.

19/07/2026: An incredibly beautiful café inside. It's said to be the oldest in Trieste. It has a very high ceiling, the bar looks fantastic and leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food and drinks are beautifully presented and delicious. There's a bookshop to the side of the café where you can also sit comfortably.

We had dinner this evening at Ristorante La Botte in Lignano Pineta with a group of seven, and the experience was truly enjoyable. Highlights of the evening: Food and Portions: We ate really well! The dishes are tasty, well-prepared, and the portions are generous, perfect for those who want to leave feeling full and satisfied. Service and Hospitality: The staff immediately proved to be very courteous, polite, and attentive to our needs, managing the large table with great professionalism and a smile. Value for Money: Prices were absolutely average for the area: we spent about €30 per person, a perfectly reasonable amount given the quality of the food, the quantity, and the excellent service we received. A welcoming place, highly recommended for a lovely dinner with family or friends in Lignano Pineta. We'll definitely be back!

06/01/2026: We chose this restaurant after reading a well-known food forum recommending the best seafood restaurants in Rome. We were looking for a special place to celebrate Christmas Eve in an unusual way, and the combination of the price of the set menu (significantly lower than the average for restaurants of this caliber), the type of dishes, and the location drew us to this beautiful restaurant inside a centrally located hotel. The quality of the fish is excellent, the preparation is unusual yet simple; the staff is kind and welcoming, and the portions are just right, not "mini" as is often the case in places of this type. It was a real shame about the finish: a crème brûlée without the crispy crust, cold and tasteless, and a small pastry consisting of commercial panettone, pandoro, and nougat. As you can see in one of the photos uploaded, we were even served the burnt bottom of the pandoro... Let's hope they change pastry chefs! Overall, the experience was extremely positive, and I would definitely return, but I'd skip the dessert.

31/12/2025: Lovely fine-dining setting and attentive service, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. Most dishes were very plain. The carpaccios in the Mare Mare set lacked flavour, except the octopus, which tasted better mainly due to its natural saltiness rather than the chef’s seasoning. The clam pasta had little to no clam aroma or taste. We’ve tried many fine-dining restaurants, and unfortunately this isn’t one we’d return to!
