04/09/2025: The café is located near the old city gate of Udine, close to the train station, which is perhaps a 3-minute walk away. I like to go there when I'm traveling by train. The café is something of an institution and is just as popular with locals as it is with tourists. The staff speak English, which is not always the case in Italy. The service is super friendly and fast. Orders are brought out in lovely arrangements. For example, mineral water comes with a bowl of lemon and orange slices. You can sit outside or inside and enjoy your coffee or Aperol. In any case, the Gran Caffè Friuli has charm. Highly recommended.

25/04/2025: Wenn man nicht auf Ketten steht und eher entspannt, wie in alten Zeiten einen Kaffee genießen will, ist man hier richtig. Das Ambiente ist das Gegenteil von Starbugs: Also, wem das gefällt, der sollte hier nicht herkommen! Ein kleines Cafe, old school eingerichtet mit Holzvertäfelungen und Bezug zur litherarischen Historie von Triest. Autentisches Personal, hilfsbereit und nett. Kaffee und Croissants perfekt. Hier kommen viele Einheimische mal eben rein, um einn Nero zu schlürfen ... Absolutes Muss für die, die das Ursprüngliche lieben!

27/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant in the heart of Lignano! The service is extremely friendly and attentive, and they delighted us with a great wine recommendation. The food is outstanding – the fresh mussels as a starter and the grilled fish platter as a main course were a real highlight. The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting, even though the restaurant is located right in the pedestrian zone. You immediately feel at home and can enjoy your meal in peace. Reservations are definitely recommended, as the restaurant is very popular. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh fish and Italian hospitality!

28/07/2025: A very nice restaurant that we have been visiting for years. We had meat, pasta, and pizza – very good value for money with large portions. Extremely attentive service, and the food arrived quickly and hot. The head waiter has been there for years and is a unique person who has his staff absolutely under control. With 4 adults, just under 100 euros – Highly recommended.

16/08/2025: We had dinner with friends in the heart of Cormons. Excellent food, excellent service, and the wait staff were extremely friendly. They even offered us a welcome platter, and all the dishes were impeccable, with great attention to presentation. A food and wine experience not to be missed if you're in the area.

15/08/2025: Barbara is an exceptional waitress, with a remarkable talent for customer service: she's smiling, kind, attentive, and even open to the friendly requests of customers who ask her to take their photo. She makes sure you feel comfortable, asking if "everything's okay." In any case, the other waitresses are also kind and professional. During the welcome phone call, I spoke with Elisabetta, whose tone was polite and inviting, resilient: willing to "meet the needs of a new customer who shows up at the last minute"... spaghetti with clams, perfect recipe!... tiramisu was good, but better without the whipped cream. Thanks to all the staff, the waiters, the cooks, the "many Giulias" who are truly unique, and a special thanks goes to Domenico: unique and unrepeatable! ...and... we have "the magician"! 15/08/2025: Simple and well-kept place, manager and staff are courteous, helpful and attentive to the needs of the customers. Here you eat very well and at a fair price. I recommend the fish-based dishes... excellent and well-kept (exceptional mixed fry... never eaten so good) The pizza is also good. Excellent restaurant to spend a quiet lunch or dinner with friends, family or relatives. I recommend you try this place.

24/08/2025: My partner and I stopped for lunch yesterday at this little restaurant in the center of Trieste. I called about twenty minutes before arriving (since I was passing through), and they were immediately kind and helpful in giving us a table. Fast service, very friendly staff, and excellent fish quality. If we ever return to Trieste, it will definitely be a must-visit. Everything was excellent :)
