And the cuisine: refined and perfectly transporting you to the sea. Flawless. Matteo, our server, was so attentive, even speaking to us in French. He took us to the rooftop, a must-see! 25/04/2025: Wenn man nicht auf Ketten steht und eher entspannt, wie in alten Zeiten einen Kaffee genießen will, ist man hier richtig. Das Ambiente ist das Gegenteil von Starbugs: Also, wem das gefällt, der sollte hier nicht herkommen! Ein kleines Cafe, old school eingerichtet mit Holzvertäfelungen und Bezug zur litherarischen Historie von Triest. Autentisches Personal, hilfsbereit und nett. Kaffee und Croissants perfekt. Hier kommen viele Einheimische mal eben rein, um einn Nero zu schlürfen ... Absolutes Muss für die, die das Ursprüngliche lieben!

14/09/2025: Mine cannot be a positive review. We were guests today, 14/09 (Sunday) for lunch, we opted for the house Cabernet Sauvignon served in a bottle, not in a glass. Later, before lunch, we were recommended a Cabernet Franc, since the house wine was sold out. It was offered to us at the same price, I prefer it to the first course, but it's not the same! Dessert menu...., the tiramisu is sold out! But when? We were the first customers, present, as a reservation at 12.30, left at 13.30. Furthermore, a group of about forty people, denied the communication in a low tone. Last but not least, the bathroom door that is always partially open and being "posted" right in front is not a nice sight. The food is good, but for what I spent I do not recommend it.

23/08/2025: A true rediscovery. Perfect beef tartare. Excellent lamb chops and exceptional beef tagliata. We'll be back.

27/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant in the heart of Lignano! The service is extremely friendly and attentive, and they delighted us with a great wine recommendation. The food is outstanding – the fresh mussels as a starter and the grilled fish platter as a main course were a real highlight. The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting, even though the restaurant is located right in the pedestrian zone. You immediately feel at home and can enjoy your meal in peace. Reservations are definitely recommended, as the restaurant is very popular. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh fish and Italian hospitality!

05/10/2025: I stopped by this restaurant on a whim, but it was so delicious and comfortable that I ended up staying longer. Every meal was delicious, but the baked cod and pasta were especially exquisite. If I'm ever in Trieste again, I'll definitely come back. I hope you all enjoy it too!

28/09/2025: A really nice little place. A bit hidden away, as there are no billboards. The starter was very good. My grilled calamari could have been a bit softer and spicier, but that's just complaining at a high level. A very friendly, family-run restaurant. Highly recommended.

12/09/2025: I went for lunch today with my husband. Everything was excellent, the place was beautiful and well-decorated, and the food was excellent. We had two fricos as appetizers, two excellent first courses, and two desserts. The wine, water, and coffee were excellent. €90 was more than good. I can't wait to go back. Superb service.

04/10/2025: Ordered takeout tonight: a 4-cheese sandwich with spicy salami 😋😋😋 and generous jacket potatoes 🙏🏽😋😋😋 (we've ordered from them before and have also been there several years) everything hot despite the humid/chilly weather outside. Rider was very kind and 20 minutes early 🥰 and I know for sure they have a lot of work (my daughter is there for a birthday and there are about 15 of them 🙏🏽) everything was special and super good!!! Thank you

01/10/2025: The staff were helpful; the place was always crowded, resulting in a somewhat rushed but good food. I'd also add that the staff was extremely knowledgeable, even when faced with difficulties. I'm referring to an unexpected hailstorm, and they calmly accommodated everyone in the small restaurant. Well done!

28/07/2025: Siamo andati dopo aver letto le recensioni su Tripadvisor e siamo tornati la sera dopo, prima di partire. Confermo in pieno i giudizi dati: tutto davvero eccellente. Bellissima location. Gestione familiare gentilissima con un menu' davvero speciale: presentazione gourmet con elevata qualità a prezzi e assolutamente corretti, circostanza davvero unica nello scenario eno-gastronomico di questo livello. Ad agosto torneremo e consigliamo a tutti i lettori di andare.
