06/01/2026: We chose this restaurant after reading a well-known food forum recommending the best seafood restaurants in Rome. We were looking for a special place to celebrate Christmas Eve in an unusual way, and the combination of the price of the set menu (significantly lower than the average for restaurants of this caliber), the type of dishes, and the location drew us to this beautiful restaurant inside a centrally located hotel. The quality of the fish is excellent, the preparation is unusual yet simple; the staff is kind and welcoming, and the portions are just right, not "mini" as is often the case in places of this type. It was a real shame about the finish: a crème brûlée without the crispy crust, cold and tasteless, and a small pastry consisting of commercial panettone, pandoro, and nougat. As you can see in one of the photos uploaded, we were even served the burnt bottom of the pandoro... Let's hope they change pastry chefs! Overall, the experience was extremely positive, and I would definitely return, but I'd skip the dessert.

31/12/2025: Lovely fine-dining setting and attentive service, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. Most dishes were very plain. The carpaccios in the Mare Mare set lacked flavour, except the octopus, which tasted better mainly due to its natural saltiness rather than the chef’s seasoning. The clam pasta had little to no clam aroma or taste. We’ve tried many fine-dining restaurants, and unfortunately this isn’t one we’d return to!

29/11/2025: A delightful dinner at this historic trattoria in the center of Cormons. Traditional dishes with a touch of originality, along with expertly crafted innovative dishes. Everything is delicious on a menu where you're spoiled for choice. A good selection of wines, mostly local. The service is attentive and friendly, and the owner is truly skilled at his craft. A pleasant atmosphere. The bill is unsurprising.

01/02/2026: We booked three days in advance and confirmed availability. When we arrived, the place was packed with people watching the basketball game. We announced that we had reserved a table, and the waitresses began chatting among themselves, making it clear the table hadn't been reserved. After two minutes, they escorted us into the larger room and sat us at a coffee table, nestled between the packed tables, with no chairs, clearly a last-minute snatch. We left after five minutes without ordering anything. It's no one's fault if the place is packed; in fact, it's a good thing. Just be honest from the start and 1. Don't take a reservation if you're already expecting a huge crowd, 2. Admit that the table hadn't been reserved and apologize. It's a real shame we didn't try the burgers, because both the photos of the dishes and the positive reviews had inspired us so much. Unsolicited advice: A little extra attention to the customer can quickly make the decision go from "I'll never set foot in here again" to "Maybe I've had a bad experience and I'll give it a second chance."

04/02/2026: While checking into the "Domus Vittoria" vacation rental in Sannicola (Lecce), I bumped into a tourist from Trieste. While waiting to enter, we talked about our respective hometowns, and he recommended this unique and exclusive venue. After a refreshing stop with friends, I can confirm his opinion of the excellent food and professional service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

23/11/2025: The restaurante is beautifully decorated, mainly with wood furnitures. That gives a cozy vibe. The waiters were very attentive. The food was tasty. I ordered a Flan alla Erbe di Campo con Salsa di Montasio as Antipasto, and a Risotto Al Boschetto as Primi. We were a group of 4, and went on a Saturday for dinner. We did a reservation so I am not sure if it is possible to go spontaneously.

19/12/2025: Trieste's historic pastry shop offers traditional products (the presnitz is excellent) and exquisite pastries. Prices are in line with the quality.

28/10/2025: Very good food and a wide selection, from excellent pizza to deli items, pasta dishes, and salads. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, and it's definitely worth a visit!
