03/01/2026: Although it used to be one of the best pastry shops in the area and hasn't lost any quality, I regretfully find that having grown too large, it has lost its identity. Service is often slow and lacking, despite the many (too many) tables, you have to wait a long time before they're freed up. You have to wait too long to order and eat, and then there's a long line to pay. Definitely not suitable for a quick breakfast. A real shame.

05/01/2026: A historic seafood restaurant with a refined yet relaxed atmosphere and discreet, attentive service. The fish is incredibly fresh, cooked simply to preserve its flavor. We had lunch with our baby, and the atmosphere is child-friendly, complete with a high chair, books, toys, and a changing table in the bathroom. Highly recommended!
05/01/2026: I went to this restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner with part of my family. The staff was very kind and professional. The service was impeccable. The lady was very kind in explaining the dishes and giving excellent recommendations.
We ate deliciously, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Trieste. Thank you 😊

Italy is known for its excellent coffee and wine, not for punch. I am a very satisfied customer of Bar Lory and can highly recommend it.

12/01/2026: Excellent atmosphere for a quiet dinner, the food was nothing short of fantastic, I ate an excellent sirloin, the same goes for the excellent, classy and friendly service from Mrs. Samara and her colleagues Antonio and Enea, who left me wanting for nothing.
12/01/2026: Incredible place with a perfect service, amazing food and a great atmosphere. We had pasta with shrimps, it was super tasty. There are not so many people here, so it’s really intimate and at the same time absolutely beautiful. On of the waiters (Enea) speaks English, he was extremely polite and professional.

07/01/2026: I came here for a bite to eat on New Year's Day and found a real pub like few others. Freshly made Ljubljanska, delicious fries. My girlfriend had a burger (huge and delicious). The beers on offer—Irish, American, etc.—are well-drained! The atmosphere and staff, along with the crowds of friends who flock here, make for a truly enjoyable place!

26/10/2025: First visited this pub when it opened around 1997, it was the only place in town where you coukd get a good pint of beer/Guinness. It's a quirky Irish themed pub in Italy, great atmosphere with good music playing in the background. A big bonus is when you buy around you get a load of snacks for free!
Well worth a visit if you're in Pordenone.

13/12/2025: A seafood restaurant on the Trieste waterfront: we've been coming here from Udine for years, and it's always a sure thing. From appetizers to main courses, the fish is always fresh and offered in a wide variety. The owners and staff are extremely attentive and friendly, making guests feel truly welcomed. Prices are absolutely reasonable, more than justified by the high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended.
01/11/2025: We chose this restaurant to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it didn't disappoint. The intimate atmosphere in a room all to ourselves was warm, the service impeccable, and the dishes, from appetizer to dessert, completely satisfied us. The fresh 2 kg sea bream, baked in the oven, recommended as a main course, was the highlight of the evening. We've been there before for other special occasions, and it's always a sure thing. Congratulations to everyone, and thank you for making our nephew, who doesn't eat fish, happy too. Keep up the good work!! We'll definitely be back!

05/01/2026: Listen, I'll tell you my story about the restaurant. I gave it three stars because it has something that isn't good, namely the atmosphere, and only the service is excellent.
04/01/2026: First class cooking, high quality homemade dishes and great service in an informal setting. The bar area was hopping with local patrons, the ambiance is straight out of a movie set. Dinner was also a great value, we had a green salad, chicken with lemon sauce & green asparagus, a side dish of polenta, a gnocchi with salmon & arugula sauce along with red wine, water and we paid 36 Euro. Highly recommended it! Thank you for a lovely evening!
