28/07/2026: Pub, restaurant, pizzeria, well-kept atmosphere, kind, friendly and attentive staff (they don't forget the customers at their table), good food and even beer... Waiting times for food are adequate considering the top quality of the dishes and also the influx of customers at that time.
17/05/2026: Last night we went to this pub/restaurant with a table for 13 people. The waiter decided to split the order: after the first six people had ordered, he immediately sent their order to the kitchen, while the other seven ordered later with a second order.
Result? We all ate separately, and those who had received their food first had to wait for the others, finding their plates already cold.
Furthermore, some sandwiches were served without fries.
A shame, because the service organization completely ruined the evening.

25/05/2026: Historic Udine pastry shop, open from dawn until dusk, halfway through the post-club breakfasts... and now for a coffee and a delicious mid-morning and/or afternoon treat!
Exceptional quality and always friendly and helpful service!!
Excellent pastries and bread made on-site!
Returned today... and, given the heat, had an EXCELLENT iced coffee!!! ☕😋

20/04/2026: A historic bar at the intersection of Viale Venezia and Via Birago, from which it takes its name! It recently changed ownership, renovated, and modernized the interior, but it remains a pleasant place to stop and meet!

16/07/2026: We received a wonderfully warm welcome at Osteria ai 2 Ladroni and immediately felt at home in the very cozy and charming restaurant.
The food was simply delicious and of excellent quality. But what really stands out here is the presentation! All the dishes were incredibly beautiful, creative, and colorful – a true visual and culinary highlight.
We highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Trieste. We'll definitely be back!

At first, I didn't know the price of what I'd ordered. I finally found out when I saw the bill! 🤦🏻♀️
- They only had gluten-free asparagus risotto, which looked like the mush they give to toothless old people! I didn't see any asparagus! I just saw some filaments, like the ones you get when you peel asparagus. It wasn't risotto! I'm sorry!
I was bothering the waiter/owner (I presume) because I didn't drink alcohol, only water, and I couldn't order anything else but that dish! He even said I could stay home! You be the judge of whether something like that is possible!!!! 🤦🏻♀️
- The place was very dimly lit, and it wasn't impeccably clean.
I'll never go back!
18/06/2026: A typical tavern, I tried it and found it highly recommended, at least for its wines, a few cicchetti, and traditional Friuli-Venetian dishes. The atmosphere is a bit small, but welcoming. The experienced manager is friendly and professional.
