09/07/2025: We had an excellent meal at da ovidio today. Reservations are recommended. We had an antipasti platter of cold and warm fish for starters, and a steak main course. Everything was of excellent quality, with the meat tender as butter. The service was very friendly, attentive, and very child-friendly.

21/08/2025: A truly beautiful and characteristic place in the historic center. The ideal spot for an evening accompanied by a delicious aperitif. The toasted sandwich is a must-try! The owner is very kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

28/07/2025: Siamo andati dopo aver letto le recensioni su Tripadvisor e siamo tornati la sera dopo, prima di partire. Confermo in pieno i giudizi dati: tutto davvero eccellente. Bellissima location. Gestione familiare gentilissima con un menu' davvero speciale: presentazione gourmet con elevata qualità a prezzi e assolutamente corretti, circostanza davvero unica nello scenario eno-gastronomico di questo livello. Ad agosto torneremo e consigliamo a tutti i lettori di andare.

When I enter this restaurant, I sometimes feel like I'm entering a church; a secular church, filled with the aromas of times past and the authenticity that has always been at home here.

21/07/2025: The croissants were soft, and the pastry didn't taste like butter. Too expensive compared to the competition.

05/06/2025: Very good toast and if you ask for it well done they don't give you any explanations and the toast is cold. They give you the toast well done!!!

02/05/2025: Nice corner spot at the head of a two-way street. Not very large, but welcoming. Outside there is space for several tables. Friendly and prepared staff. Above average service. The sandwiches are good and very varied and they also serve cocktails. More than decent coffee. They sell cigarettes. Definitely worth going if in the area.

30/08/2025: We stopped for a cocktail, forgetting that we sat outside because it was scorching hot inside and the air conditioning wasn't on... very quick service, light cocktails (it could be better), but upon request they could kindly bring us something, as in all bars they usually bring chips, olives, peanuts... the answer is "yes, on top"... in conclusion, a 50g bag of chips costs €1.50. It's shameful in 2025 not to be able to nibble on anything unless you pay.

25/07/2025: L'hamburger che ho gustato era semplicemente delizioso, con una carne succosa e condimenti freschi. Il pane era morbido e leggermente tostato, creando un perfetto equilibrio di sapori. La birra si abbinava magnificamente, rinfrescante e con un retrogusto piacevole. L'atmosfera del locale era accogliente e rilassante, ideale per una serata tra amici. Consiglio vivamente questa esperienza culinaria a Udine, un vero piacere per il palato.
