27/04/2025: I ate at Dune more than 20 years ago and it was excellent. Now I don't know who the manager is but for me he is an incompetent in the restaurant business. Never eaten so badly, pasta with frozen and re-heated clams, soup which initially brings you something inedible, pasta with fresh grated bottarga on top of the pasta! I don't know where this idea comes from but it's like eating a kilo of salt with a fork..... Levitate the place is no longer the legendary "le dunes", thank goodness that after the complaints I didn't pay.

30/04/2025: It has existed for years and the sandwiches have remained the same, huge, super stuffed and delicious! Contrary to the trend compared to the rest of the world which has started to reduce portions, here we eat period! Internally there are about 10 tables, there is also a small garden immediately at the entrance with a few tables. It's the place of worship of the sandwich!

18/04/2025: A pub which I believe is now historic and esteemed, having overcome highs and lows such as Covid and is still there in the heart and on the Corso di Gorizia. A beautiful place that I used to frequent while living in Gorizia and now unfortunately I'm a little ill due to illness, and always a place that I wouldn't change anything about. 🥰. Both the food and drink were of excellent quality. Staff always helpful and cheerful and it is a place for all ages. We spend pleasant moments at any time of the day. Too bad I'm no longer in Gorizia but it's wonderful to hear from those who have spent evenings there. A place full of those who live their youth so it is always there and never gets old. 😍. 08/02/2025: Small piadina shop in the center of Cordenons in front of the ice cream shop. Very small place so it is important to arrive early to be able to eat on site. Light, crumbly and full of seasoning piadina!!! We opted for the peasant and the sausage and potatoes... Very good and really filling. For dessert we treated ourselves to the Milka white chocolate roll... HEAVENLY. Affable and kind owner. It was a pleasure to eat there. Really low and honest prices.

10/06/2025: Beautiful location on the beach in a quieter area, near the marina. Average food but enjoyed by the sea gives it an extra touch. Friendly staff but some beginners and it shows, however very attentive and friendly staff.

17/05/2025: This place has a truly unnecessary hype. We had two cappuccinos, which were served almost cold, which is never the case in Trieste or in Italy in general. The cappuccinos tasted only of milk. The service was also unpleasantly arrogant. The only nice thing about it is the ambiance. Children are also not welcome. We constantly receive disparaging looks, even though our child was very quiet.

01/06/2025: We were ignored because we weren't Italian. When we sat down in the restaurant, which was mostly filled with locals, no one came to us at first, even though there was plenty of staff. After fifteen minutes, the waiter had already visited several people who had arrived after us. The only difference: they were all Italian, and we weren't. After trying a few more times to get our attention and being consistently ignored, we had to move on in frustration - CLEARLY NOT RECOMMENDED. When we sat down in the restaurant – which was mostly filled with locals – we were completely ignored at first, even though there was plenty of staff around. After about 15 minutes, the waiter had already served several tables that had arrived after us – all of them Italians. The only noticeable difference: we weren't locals. Despite several attempts to get the staff's attention, we were consistently overlooked. Disappointed and frustrated, we eventually had to leave without even being greeted. Conclusion: Tourists clearly not welcome – unfortunately.

31/05/2025: A very nice little restaurant in the center of Grado. The owner is friendly, quick, and attentive. The interior is tastefully decorated, and there's a lovely outdoor seating area by an ancient stone wall with plants growing along it. It's very quaint and highly recommended. We didn't rate the food, as we only had drinks.
