01/04/2026: Dinner with new friends I met on my skiing holiday, which I chose to organize at 1492, a restaurant owned by Maria. Two pages of a very delicious menu, waiting to be discovered. The pinsas are delicious, but everything is good. In Francavilla, where Siren's has now closed, the best option for my tastes is 1492. Besides the quality, the prices are also still reasonable, and you leave feeling full for just a few euros.

The food is very good, but it's somewhat expensive for what it offers, though the dishes are varied and of a high standard. The service is attentive and meticulous. Average price per person without wine is €35 and up.

09/04/2026: We spent Easter Monday 2026 at the Malaga restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The value for money is excellent: the price is decidedly reasonable, but without compromising on abundance and quality. We were greeted by a rich buffet in a well-kept garden, then continued into an elegant indoor dining room with live music and engaging entertainment. Kudos to the impeccable service and hospitality. A well-deserved five stars, especially considering the price, location, free parking, and overall organization.

09/12/2025: Excellent burgers. As a fan, I'd recommend the pastrami sandwich, which is really good. The place is nice but small; reservations are essential. You can also dine at the counter. We'll be back.

14/03/2026: If you want to eat a truly exceptional piadina, Capriccio di Gola is the place to go. The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste it right away: everything is fresh and carefully prepared. The piadina is simply the best I've eaten in Emilia-Romagna: fragrant, well-filled, and with truly delicious toppings. Plus, the owners are fantastic, always kind and welcoming, and the service is excellent. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

27/04/2026: I'd been looking for a place like this for a while. While walking around, I stumbled upon this place in Loano, and both my wife and I were in disbelief at the beauty of the place, the service, the food, and the music! It didn't feel like we were in Italy, but abroad. We didn't even spend much, but the prices were in line with the competition—a competition that was beaten, however, by the service and everything else! I highly recommend it! If you're in Loano, you absolutely have to go!

12/04/2026: Our hotelier recommended it to us as one of the best pizzas in Venice, and I'd say the recommendation was true. The pizzas are truly excellent and filling, although not perfect. We'll definitely be back. Fast service, and advance reservations are always recommended if you want to sit inside, depending on the season.

09/04/2026: Lovely outdoor setting. We had a very good meal and were served quickly despite the restaurant being full and people still queuing outside waiting for a table. Everything was perfect from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was friendly and efficient. Incidentally, the prices are very reasonable for Venice.

08/04/2026: A historic and iconic restaurant in Milano Marittima that I visited in the early 1980s. Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the menu, although the inclusion of a pizza menu is a bit of a disappointment, due to historical consistency.

06/04/2026: Embarrassing, to say the least. We've been customers for several years, until yesterday's "dinner." It starts with superficial and uninformed service about the dishes. Inattentive to requests. This is unacceptable in a restaurant considered high-end. And then there's the disgust we felt about the dishes we ordered. The curry and shrimp rice was overcooked, full of cream, butter, salt, and clearly made with fish broth that wasn't fresh. The linguine was overcooked with garlic, oil, water, and three pieces of lobster. Not to mention the skewers of cuttlefish, squid, and shrimp, which tasted bitter, had a strange flavor, and contained grains of sand. The result was a practically sleepless night with various ailments. The high bill is in line with the menu. A total disgrace.
