17/01/2026: I enjoyed lunch with a buckwheat galette filled to my liking. And then I also had a dessert of apple fritters and flambéed calvados. A nice variation.

21/09/2025: Welcomed with spontaneous kindness by Alberto, the owner, and served with equal courtesy, we enjoyed an excellent platter, an eggplant parmigiana, and delicious meatballs, accompanied by excellent and relaxing background music. The "Iovem" spritz and the craft beers were very popular. Only later did we realize that Alberto's true passion is wine (yes, I know, the name of the place was a good clue), so we'll be happy to return to follow his advice. See you soon!

24/10/2025: La Prima Dea in Erice was such a lovely surprise. The food was beautiful, full of genuine Sicilian flavour, and made with top-quality local ingredients. The olive oil was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted — I could have happily eaten it on its own! What really stood out was the hospitality. The waiters weren’t pushy or trying to grab tourists’ attention like you often see elsewhere; they were genuinely proud of the amazing food they serve. Service was super quick too, which made it perfect for a relaxed but efficient lunch. We tried the arancini, pane cunzato and panino — all absolutely delicious. And the friendly chap outside, calling people in with his charming Italian accent, really made my day. La Prima Dea is one of those places that reminds you what good food and genuine warmth are all about. Highly recommended!

The numerous awards they've won are a testament to the hard work and passion behind this success. The waiters are a constant in the quality of the service, largely due to the fantastic working environment created by Anna and her partner. The search for the best local ingredients for their dishes is one of the keys to their success. If you want to sit after 6:30 PM, it's best to make a reservation. When they add music, it's the best.

07/04/2026: As a beer lover and occasional customer for several years, I can confidently say that the beer here is a guarantee! Their in-house craft beer, well-tasted, and wide selection make this brewery one of the best in the area. The place is informal, small but welcoming, with a classic pub atmosphere. Perfect for evenings with friends. The food is simple, yet delicious, and ideal for accompanying beer. I recommend following their social media page because they announce new dishes every weekend. Both drinks and food are available for takeout. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends.
