04/09/2025: Scam restaurant as others have said. They will offer you extras without telling you the price. Next thing you know you've got a massive bill. These reviews should be listed under Taverna Alfredo as that is the name they're trading under. Avoid at all costs.

30/08/2025: An undrinkable soy cappuccino, a croissant, a mini sandwich, and a juice for the modest sum of €15. The tables were dirty and then cleaned by hand. We'll never go back.

09/06/2025: I stopped after dinner to have two coffees, my boyfriend and I, we also wanted a digestive, a smaller portion precisely because we had dinner somewhere else.... the waiter brings us the bill and the debit card to pay... I immediately noticed the bill was €17, I pointed out to him that we didn't want the bitter... He tells me that the baby is not a service they do, but if we had known we wouldn't have taken it... especially because I didn't want it.... beyond the poor service and the arrogance of the staff, I find it a truly overrated place. Little clarity in the service and the services they offer. We paid but we will never return.

04/06/2025: I sat down here and ordered a couple of drinks without doing my usual due diligence checks. Then when I saw the 2.2 rating my heart sank, it always pays to check these things. However, it was too late by this point. That said, I'm not sure why this place has such low reviews. Yes it's in a central tourist location in the middle of the city, so be realistic folks. However an all round really positive experience. The service was quick and the drinks came with some sharing snacks: focaccia, olives and crisps. I liked it.

25/07/2025: I'm leaving this review because it's not the first time it's happened to us. We wanted to get a piadina before the movie, but after almost 15 minutes of queuing at the cash register, a guy who was working ALONE—and I repeat ALONE—between the kitchen and the cash register, poor guy, told us we had at least another 20 minutes to wait. We left. You open a business in a movie theater where people want to buy food quickly and leave a poor guy to work alone? With the money you lose every day because of people like me who leave, I assure you, you could afford to hire more. Solidarity with that poor exploited guy and fire the store manager, who certainly isn't doing a good job.

01/06/2025: I paid €4 for a 450ml Coca-Cola, in my opinion it was disgusting, we've really hit rock bottom!!!

09/07/2025: Decent paninis and coffee. Our service was fine and lots of options for drinks/snacks to go. Not a bad spot to grab food in between train stops.

06/07/2025: We stopped to drink a ginseng coffee and two normal coffees and the manager made a scene in front of the customers and colleagues by raising her voice and saying that she would send some of the colleagues home without a job. Terrible person who should not be given such high positions. The staff was terrified by this manager who worked with her head down. Tense atmosphere.

18/07/2025: Provato per il nome Bocciato di fatto. Macedonia insapore, cortesia solo con gli habitué, prezzi da ristorante per servizio tipo fast food... Cancellato !

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

04/09/2025: A scammer. I got an espresso and a small piece of dessert. He charged me 74, not including the price on the menu. They ask you where you're from and lend you money so you don't pay attention.

03/09/2025: 13 euros for a margarita is a total rip-off. I'm not surprised by the low ratings. Prices are higher than anywhere else.

14/08/2025: Terrible experience. I ordered a Jefferson amaro (at the modest price of €8), but they sold me a more commercial amaro. When I showed the waiter the evidence, I was told they did this because the Jefferson bottle was warm. Being taken for a ride is never nice. Never again.

06/09/2025: Negative experience, the worst. Expensive for what you get: canned orange juice (not natural), the jam croissant just sat there on the plate. My grandmother (who is blind and deaf) makes the best coffee. Breakfast is €8. I'm leaving here feeling like the tax agency sent me a postal notice.

05/09/2025: DO NOT ENTER HERE The opinions of tourists here are true. This is a tourist trap ready to overcharge you for anything. They overcharged me for two lemonades 7.50€ when we checked on the menu was originally 5€ each. The staff when got caught decided to be aggresive over us on what we decided to leave If you see this place dont even look at it and search for another options that are more to you

20/08/2025: The owner/bartender, who creates an unpleasant atmosphere and displays his "Italian" temperament, makes guests and staff feel uncomfortable. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a cup of coffee in a pleasant Italian atmosphere, this isn't the place!

18/08/2025: With so many other places in the vicinity, you'd think people would be nice and inviting. Not the case here, very rude, short, and not interested in taking your order, nor getting it correct, nor bringing it in a timely manner.
