09/08/2025: I recently visited this beachfront restaurant and bar and had mixed feelings. The location is truly amazing, right on the water, but the experience was disappointing. The whiskey is very cheap, and the service was anything but professional. The waitress was unfriendly and seemed to have little enthusiasm for her job. The waitress with curly blonde hair was particularly striking in her manner. Instead of being friendly, there was more of a dismissive vibe. Ultimately, all I can say is: If you value good service, you're better off going somewhere else. For a relaxing evening on the beach, there are definitely better alternatives.

01/07/2025: Non sanno che significa stare al pubblico ! I pezzi salati (panini etc.) non portano mai il cartellino del costo. Schiacciatina tonda di circonferenza 11 cm al costo di 5 euro con formaggio e melanzane. Un succo di frutta, normalissimo 3,50 euro al supermercato il solito a 1,50 euro ! Non c'è male come ricarico !

22/06/2025: Excelente servicio para nuestro grupo escolar. Buena comida. Preciosa decoración en un espacio fresco. Los 3 platos eran muy sabrosos y frescos. Nuestro camarero trabajó muy duro y era encantador.

02/09/2025: This restaurant is right infront of the train station so you would be fooled to think that it is busy all the time. It seems most customers who come here are waiting for the transport, and given the close location, that’s fair enough. That said however, the food might appear cheap on first glance, but once you add in the service fee and value you get from the quality and portion size it seems the place is vastly overpriced. We had the scrambled eggs and breakfast burger, as well as a cannoli, cappucino and an orange juice. The juice was severely overpriced given the size, the taste of the breakfast dishes was extremely bland and needed a lot of salt to balance out. The egg was also overcooked. As for the cannoli, it was a small sized one which was not clearly specified, at 2.5 euros each it is heavily overpriced given a full priced one sells for the same price about 200m away. The cappucino was actually quite good, and I give credit to the staff whom were extremely attentive and welcoming. That said, the food was quite bad. *edit: we were charged extra 6 euros for the bread which we did not order so assumed came with the eggs. Also upon giving them 100 euro bill for a 39 euro tab, the waiter came back with exactly 60 change not giving us any coins, a forced tip as it were.

01/09/2025: I definitely do not recommend it, we waited 35 minutes for breakfast, the breakfast was average + a bottle of water costs 10€ which you will find out on the receipt.

09/08/2025: Terrible experience. Drinks were sky-high, and the buffet was of extremely poor quality. We walked in and the owner was already agitated with the employee. The atmosphere wasn't exactly relaxing. A spritz costs €8 because "we're in Emilia Romagna, it costs that much," but from 7 to 9 it costs €10 even if you DON'T eat the food, a buffet of questionable quality where the star dish is an omelette. Pretending to offer shots and then charging €5. €5 for unsolicited shots is the height of dishonesty. (And then saying we asked for them.) I understand why I promised myself I wouldn't go back. BUT €10 FOR SPRITZES WHERE YOU PRACTICALLY CONSUMED NO FOOD AND €5 FOR UNSOLVED SHOTS??? Personally, they're too dishonest to even set foot in there again. (I agree with other users' reviews and fully understand the criticism.)

31/07/2025: The aperitivo food is very poor and not fresh... Very nice atmosphere, good cocktails, but the food leaves a lot to be desired...

17/06/2025: I go into the bar to buy a bottle of water, I go to the cashier and the lady rudely says to me: Are you paying with a card??? (as if I were paying in sesterces) I reply that yes, I pay with a card. She looks at me and then starts typing the numbers on the POS and talks as if to herself: sure... pay 1.50 with a card... At which point I say to her: is there a problem? And she is not happy: she pays for my water with a card... I reply that it is still money and that if she has to do me a favor by selling me a product that has a stratospheric markup (1.50€ per bottle, the small one) she can keep it. At which point I leave. Two considerations: if you have a commercial establishment like a bar, you must always be accommodating with customers, because without them your business closes. If the fees are too high for card payments for small amounts, please point it out to me politely and display a nice sign stating that below a certain amount you cannot pay with the POS. Just be kind and things magically change.

10/05/2025: My 9th month pregnant wife comes in and politely asks to go to the bathroom before ordering. The lady at the counter tells her that she has to order first otherwise she can't use the bathroom. My wife explains that she has an emergency and will then calmly order. Nothing to do. We went to another bar but where has humanity gone? What a shame

19/07/2025: The coffee and pastries were very good. We ate at the counter. The bathrooms were small but efficient and clean; in a small historic center, it's hard to find spacious ones.

19/07/2025: The service was courteous and fast, but the cappuccino didn't meet expectations in terms of quality. A 7 euro coffee was extremely expensive.

18/08/2025: Very good vegetarian first courses, knowledgeable owner and friendly waiters.

11/08/2025: Terrible experience. It calls itself a restaurant, but it's nothing more than a grocery store with shoddy food right on display. Two vegetable focaccias, a slice of pizza rossa, and two bottled beers cost €49. There's no price list, and the service is also poor. We stopped the traffic police to report the incident, but they were smiling because they already knew the place. We asked them to repeat the health and safety checks. Stay away!!!!!

13/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati a cena in questa osteria una domenica sera di fine aprile senza grandi aspettative e l’esperienza in effetti è stata piuttosto modesta. Il locale è molto grande e arredato in stile tipico, il menù è ampio (forse troppo) con possibilità di scegliere tra cucina e pizza. I piatti assaggiati si sono rivelati assolutamente basici nella presentazione e non certo indimenticabili nella sostanza e nei sapori. Servizio sufficiente anche se un po' svogliato. Conto nella media ma in rapporto alla qualità del cibo potrebbe quasi essere ritenuto un po' alto. Locale basico senza pretese che può andar bene al limite per un pasto in pausa pranzo.

Presentare un piattino con 2 gamberi e 1 scampo con 3 carpaccini di ricciola spada e ombrina al prezzo di 28€ è un vero e proprio furto . Pagare un conto di 75 € a testa per un piatto di spaghetti al nero di seppia e uno spaghetto ai lupini di laguna è assolutamente una presa in giro . Ah dimenticavo per finire 2 palline di sorbetto e una porzione di tiramisù. 150€ spesi veramente male . Sconsiglio vivamente. Cibo: 1/5 | Servizio: 1/5 | Ambiente: 1/5

07/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante un sabato sera con un buon numero di amici, ma l’esperienza è stata tutt’altro che positiva. Appena arrivati, non ci è stato fornito alcun listino prezzi, lasciandoci completamente all’oscuro su cosa potessimo ordinare e sui costi. Il titolare ha deciso in gran parte lui, considerando solo in parte le nostre richieste: avevamo chiesto molto cotto o poco crudo, ma è arrivato metà crudo e metà cotto. Abbiamo potuto scegliere poco perché c’era gran poca scelta nelle sue proposte e cercava di imporre le sue decisioni. Gli antipasti erano semplici e poco saporiti, niente di speciale. Le cappelonghe erano pessime, tanto che nessuno le ha mangiate. L’unico primo che ci ha proposto era uno spaghettino, che nessuno ha preso, e lo stesso è successo con il secondo, una grigliata di pesce. Anche in questo caso avevamo chiesto determinate cose, ma il titolare ha fatto di testa sua. La grigliata era deludente: il branzino insapore e pieno di grasso, mentre la sogliola non aveva gusto. Il conto è stato un altro shock: 110 euro a testa, senza aver ricevuto alcuno scontrino (e, a detta loro, già “scontato”). Per aver mangiato solo antipasti e una grigliata scadente, ci è sembrato un vero e proprio furto. Penso che il titolare sia molto molto furbo, aveva già deciso il prezzo quando siamo arrivati… la professionalità non sa minimamente cosa sia… Esperienza da dimenticare. Non torneremo mai più.

20/08/2025: I stopped with the kids for a granita at a table for €8 each; the table is fine (as per the explanation given), but for me it's a complete rip-off, or as they say in Rome, "na sola." Never again. I strongly advise against it.
