And then there's a menu that, to say the least, is an understatement. The owners and service are impeccable, both in their friendliness and their expertise in displaying the products.

19/09/2025: I sat outside and planned to spend a lot of money on snacks and drinks while my wife explored the area and shopped. The problem was no one working here was interested in providing service to their patrons. You get one initial visit for your order while sitting at an outside table. Both girls we originally interacted with seemed uninterested and annoyed by us. Later, after waiting and waiting with a glass that was empty for some time, I saw one male server smoking at the entrance. He never glanced at the table area. His focus was his cigarette, his phone, and people passing by. About 10 minutes later, I noticed another male server smoking at the cafe entrance. I raised my hand politely to try and get his attention. He mockingly waved back and acted put out by my gesture. I asked him if I needed to go inside if I needed something else. He confirmed and acted annoyed that I would bother him with such a silly question. Don’t waste your money here. The folks working here are not interested in assisting you. They are rude and uninterested. I believe I interacted with four employees and they were all unnecessarily cold and not polite.

08/06/2025: Il Whyte Café è molto più di un semplice bar: è un luogo dove gusto, atmosfera e accoglienza si fondono perfettamente. Perfetto per iniziare bene la giornata o concedersi una pausa con gusto! Il locale è accogliente, curato nei dettagli e con un’atmosfera calda che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il personale è gentile, sorridente e attento: ti accolgono sempre con una parola gentile e il sorriso sulle labbra. Ottimi gli aperitivi: ben curati, con drink preparati a regola d’arte e stuzzichini abbondanti e gustosi. L’ambiente è ideale sia per chi cerca tranquillità che per due chiacchiere con gli amici. Un locale dove si respira passione, energia positiva e grande professionalità. Consigliatissimo se siete in zona o volete vivere un momento speciale nel cuore del paese. Un bar che unisce qualità, cortesia e passione. Complimenti davvero!

24/04/2025: Estuvimos parando en Varenna por unas noches, así que usamos la extensa red de ferrys para visitar más pueblos alrededor del lago que incluía este en mennagio. Hermoso lugar con este café que tenía asientos al aire libre con vistas a la plaza pavimentada. Tuvimos un peroni cada uno a € 5 , luego un panini de jamón & ensalada de queso a € 7 cada uno servido por personal amable.

22/04/2025: Buen restaurante con precio razonable, verduras frescas hizo todo mejor. Fuimos a Menaggio coincidencia y luego encontramos este lugar.

17/10/2025: I celebrated my birthday here on Saturday, October 11th, with about fifteen friends. Never again. A disaster from start to finish. First thing: the wait was interminable. The drinks arrived, and so far so good. Too bad the appetizer platters arrived after more than half an hour, when we'd already finished our drinks. When clearing the table, the same story: the table was left full even after we'd finished. We ordered our entrees right away to avoid waiting any longer... pointless: they made us wait a full hour before eating. Unacceptable, even for a Saturday night. Zero organization, zero coordination between the dining room and kitchen. But the worst came when it came to the bill, where it hit rock bottom. I had repeatedly specified that I wanted to split the meal Roman-style, since we were already at dessert and no one would order anything else. Despite this, they completely ignored the request and charged everyone "randomly," according to them. The result? Total confusion: the first person to pay spent little, while the last person to pay—me—found themselves covering the remaining bill. In the end, I paid €64 for a first course that wasn't mine, three drinks I didn't drink, five covers (!!!), and even water that others had already shared. I even checked with friends: they'd paid for everything, so there were no "deficiencies." The truth is, the staff handled the bill terribly, making mistakes in the orders and recordings. They even charged a friend of mine a different pizza than the one she ordered: a clear sign of inattention and total confusion. At the end of the evening, instead of going home satisfied, I left furious and feeling like I'd been ripped off. Losing €40 for their mistakes is simply shameful. If a customer asks to pay the Roman way, they do it the Roman way. Period. Chaotic place, amateurish management, unresponsive staff, and incorrect bills. One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Avoid it, especially if you're in a group or want a quiet evening: you risk wasting your time, money, and patience. Shameful.

23/05/2025: ¡Espantoso! Servicio perezoso, ¿cómo puede un restaurante italiano arruinar una pizza? ¡4 quesos no comestibles! Señora sirviente casi hostil, ¿por qué nos molestamos?

16/08/2025: Everything was very disappointing. Sandwich filled with substandard ingredients. Fries made with substandard oil. Poor atmosphere and inadequate prices.

11/08/2025: I'm giving it one star only because I can't give it zero. Anyway, tonight we ordered three kebab sandwiches, salad, and fries, and all we got were a few scraps of lettuce leaves, a raw kebab that smelled like a dead squirrel, and fries that were reheated. Basically, €18 thrown in the trash. Thanks, sandwich, for ruining our dinner.

02/09/2025: The place is aesthetically stunning, the food is good, but the staff is inattentive and a bit sparse. My friend Elisa and I asked for a hot drink, but the guy gave us cold ones. Plus, the guy gave the wrong change, wasting 10 cents. Overall, it's okay, I give it an 8. They simply need to hire people who are willing to work and put in the effort.

07/10/2025: A historic venue in one of Florence's best meeting places. It's a shame the drinks are overpriced and the service is awful. The waiters are often lazy and seem to be doing you a favor. They put on airs, but otherwise, the place is average. Fortunately, the place offers much better.

03/08/2025: Impeccable. Extremely positive experience at Bagni Londra. The beach is always tidy, with clean toilets, changing rooms, and hot showers, with staff coming through several times a day. A special mention for the beach towels available to everyone. Excellent. Highly recommended.

15/08/2025: Absolutely terrible. And that’s not even mentioning the “service” – if you can call it that. The staff looked at me like I was bothering them just for coming in to have a coffee and a glass of water. The glasses were dirty, and as for the bathroom… let’s just say it made me want to throw up. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

10/08/2025: No. We're not there. There was a water leak under the customer-side bar counter, and empty boxes were left there to the left... The coffee could be reviewed, as could the organization. It's a shame because the location has potential.

09/11/2025: It is hard to believe that a gorgonzola hotel exist in Italy and this one is vecchio borgo. I stayed in 102 room and the smell of mold was terrible. I slept with the window open widly, even outside were 10 degree. Terrible hotel, should be closed because is insanely dangerous to health. Never again there.

26/07/2025: Bar da foto, non da colazione. Le paste sembrano gioielli da vetrina: lucide, perfette per una foto da mettere in Instagram . Ho preso un pan suisse con crema, dal gusto del giorno prima , perfetta solo se vuoi testare quanto a lungo puoi sopportare la nausea. 2 paste 2 cappucci (di cui uno doppio). Totale: 13,20€. Più che colazione, una tassa o un bar per accalappiare i turisti.

15/07/2025: colazione al bar di 10 minuti 1 caffè lungo, 1 cappuccino, 1 croissant lampone, 1 treccia con crema 12 EURO e 60 cents Mi sembra "leggermente" esagerato per un bar

11/10/2025: It was embarrassing to see the boy go and choose the croissants placed in the corner, completely open and the smallest ones. The nice thing is that I watched the croissants being served first, and the lady chose the nicest, largest ones... but that didn't mean those croissants were left alone while I waited for the s*** to give them... it's not nice to see that 👎

17/09/2025: The pastries weren't nearly as bad as the service from the lady who works here. I understand that working with people is tiring, but a simple, polite "good morning" or "thank you" shouldn't be so difficult to say; otherwise, you shouldn't be doing a job you don't love. Rudeness has become commonplace, but it shouldn't be.
