A great place to meet up with friends.
We ate a rib-eye steak and an incredible kaissermaren. Friendly staff.

28/07/2025: Ich hatte das Restaurant aus meiner Kindheit in guter Erinnerung.
Leider wurden wir an dem Abend sehr enttäuscht.
Sowohl, dass für einen zweiten Teller (der zu spät zum teilenden Gericht kam) wurde etwas berechnet als auch der „Willkommensdrink“ der als Gast des Hotels umsonst sein sollte. Als wir das mit dem Drink anmerken wollten, wurde der Chef ausfallend und laut und hat (vermutlich!) das Getränk aus der Tasche seiner Mitarbeiterin (die den Fehler wohl gemacht hat) zahlen lassen.
Die Mitarbeiter rannten rum wie aufgescheuchte Hühner, bei dem Chef und der ständigen Angst im Nacken wohl kein Wunder!
Leider ein rundum katastrophaler Abend!
Essen war ok! Große Portionen, allerdings keine besonders gute Qualität. ✌🏻
26/07/2025: Wir hatten den Ruster Biergarten eigentlich in schöner Erinnerung – mein Mann war früher schon mit seinen Eltern hier, wir waren mehrfach mit unseren Kindern da, und diesmal wollten unsere inzwischen erwachsenen Kinder ein weiteres Mal gemeinsam dort essen. Der Anlass war der 60. Geburtstag meines Mannes Leider wurde der Abend eine große Enttäuschung.
Das Essen war bestenfalls durchschnittlich – eher Masse statt Klasse. Das Personal wirkte durchweg hektisch und angespannt, was wohl auch mit dem äußerst unfreundlichen Chef zusammenhängt. Es entstand der Eindruck, dass das Team regelrecht Angst vor ihm hat.
Ein kleiner, aber bezeichnender Punkt: Für einen zweiten Teller zum Teilen einer Vorspeise wurden 1,50 € berechnet – mit der Begründung, dass es kein Gedeck gibt. Das mag formell stimmen, aber in Lokalen, die ein Gedeck berechnen, bekommt man dafür üblicherweise einen Brotkorb mit Öl oder Butter – hier gibt es nichts dergleichen.
Auf der Rechnung war zudem ein kleiner Fehler. Als wir höflich um Korrektur baten, hatte man das Gefühl, dass die sehr freundliche junge Bedienung den Fehler aus eigener Tasche begleichen musste – was uns sehr unangenehm war.
Als wir schließlich das Gespräch mit dem Chef suchten, wollte er erst gar nicht zu uns kommen. Auf unser Bestehen hin erschien er doch – jedoch ausfallend, respektlos und in einem Ton, der völlig unangebracht war. Wörtlich sagte er:
„Dann schreiben Sie doch eine Bewertung!“
Dieser Satz spricht für sich – Gästezufriedenheit scheint hier keine Rolle zu spielen. Offenbar verlässt man sich auf täglich neue Kundschaft.
Sehr schade – ein Ort, den wir einst mochten, hat sich für uns leider komplett verändert.
Wir werden nicht wiederkommen – und können es auch niemandem mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Perhaps he thinks he's in Milan's San Babila district, in the historic café.
Not to mention how he treats the staff...the trattoria across the street is better:
porcini risotto and family area.

13/09/2025: I went for dinner on Ladies' Friday with some friends. The location and the evening were beautiful. The food was good, but the portions were small for the price—not adequate, in fact, excessive. Especially since if you order a second course later, you'll still be hungry. Nothing else to say.
13/09/2025: The place has a really pleasant atmosphere and the food is very good, no complaints about that.
Unfortunately, however, the service somewhat ruined the experience: we had reported a month in advance that one of our group is celiac, and yet we were only informed during the birthday party
that there were no gluten-free options available and that he would have to order from Glovo.
It's a shame, because with a little more attention, it could have been a perfect evening.

22/05/2025: The restaurant is not at the level of the place in which it is immersed. Aside from the welcome, the shouts coming from the kitchen are indecent for a modest level result in the dish. Too bad.
11/05/2025: Avevo un bel.ricordo di questo ristorante in cui ho mangiato anni fa. Non so cosa sia successo, probabilmente il cambio di gestione e personale non è stato all'altezza del.posto. la location meravigliosa cozza con un rapporto pessimo qualità prezzo: impiattamenti casalinghi, mancanza di ingredienti scritti nel menù e non presenti sul piatto; per di più la cena è stata poco rilassante perché dalla cucina si sentivano urla e blasfemie del cuoco. Se fosse stata un'osteria sarei più tollerante ma visto che una cena con 2 portate a testa più dolce e' costata 130 euro direi che non ne vale la.pena.

11/09/2025: Highly not recommended!!.. Don't go there if you want to pay 20 + 25 because if you leave they'll take your money back twice!!!. Policy that doesn't exist anywhere else. Go out because everyone smokes inside!!.. if you come back you pay!! There is no outside space or rather there is but they had closed it. Congratulations on how you steal money!!

21/07/2025: Vi fik nok den bedste pizza vi har fået i hele den nordlige del af Gardasøen. Stemningen var fantastisk og betjeningen er i top. Vi sidder udenfor ved bænke, men hold da op det fungerer.
Priserne er helt fornuftige. Vi bestiller bord uden vi tager retur til Danmark, for lige at få oplevelsen igen.
11/07/2025: El tiempo no ha sido amable con mi restaurante favorito en Torbole. Pedimos dos pastas clásicas y estaban a un nivel que no serviría en casa. Uno de los platos en particular tenía tan poca carne y salsa de tomate que se convirtió en algo completamente diferente. Hemos tenido mejores resultados en supermercados de otras partes de Europa. Hace años comimos varias cenas en este lugar y ninguna estuvo mal. Qué triste

29/07/2025: 2.7 stars. We were digging cannolis on our way out having spent some wonderful time in Venice. The display of cannolis looked great so we picked up two lemon, one strawberry, and one tiramisu. Unfortunately, these were nothing special and overly sweet. Would not recommend.

17/08/2025: One of the worst pizzerias I've ever been to. The pizzas arrived 2 hours after ordering. They should compensate us. They're really poorly organised. If you manage a place like this, you'll close down first. Not to mention the squalid bathroom. The only things that really save the place are the really kind service guys. Not recommended.
29/07/2025: Very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. A quiet evening away from the chaos, enlivened by karaoke entertainment, which featured some truly wonderful singers, and it was a pleasure to dine with their voices in the background. Prices weren't inflated, service was very fast, and parking was excellent. I highly recommend it.

I stayed at this hotel for work. The area is predominantly industrial, so it's recommended for those in Rovigo for professional reasons rather than tourism.
🛌 Room
The room is simple but welcoming, equipped with a comfortable desk 🪑 that allowed me to work even after returning home. The French bed was comfortable and suitable for two people.
🌬️ Downside: the air conditioning is very noisy, and I had to turn it off every night to sleep; I didn't mind the heat.
🚿 Bathroom
Modern and clean, but no bidet, a detail that can be annoying for those accustomed to one.
🍽️ Breakfast
Breakfast is included, but the quality depends greatly on where you eat it.
📍When there are few hotel guests, it's served in a small room at the back of the bar, and the atmosphere isn't the best, honestly.
☕ On the other hand, the room in front of the bar, with its glass window overlooking the parking lot/outdoor garden, is bright, welcoming, well-furnished... and offers a wide variety of croissants and pastries.
🥐 The imbalance is evident: in the small room at the back, the selection is limited to one standard croissant per person, jams, cereals, and sometimes a yogurt, while at the bar, you're spoiled for choice when it comes to croissants. This difference detracts from the overall experience and disadvantages hotel guests compared to those who come solely to use the bar.
🍕 Restaurant/Pizzeria
Tried on the first day: two slices of grilled chicken breast, a portion of spinach with bread, and a bottle of water – total €17. Nothing exciting, but convenient if you don't want to leave.
🚗 Free, convenient, and secure indoor parking.
🌇 Truly beautiful sunset views, even though the surrounding landscape is dominated by industrial warehouses.
📌 Conclusion
Perfect for a business stopover 🧳, but the contrast between the various areas of the hotel is stark: acceptable comfort, but with obvious room for improvement, especially regarding the breakfast experience.

29/07/2025: And it's the second time I've been there and I can only say that among the self-service restaurants it's the worst. Poor menu on the first courses and almost always beef ragù. It always opens late and they are not prepared. Terrible experience.
