02/11/2025: My husband and I went to eat. We entered the restaurant and for 20 minutes no one was seen... at a certain point I went into the kitchen to see if at least the chef was present. We glossed over it... we ordered two grilled dishes... a plate arrived with 1 tiny sausage, a small piece of dry and unchewed chicken and a small piece of invisible meat, a small plate of chips as hard as cod... a small dessert for the beauty of 43 euros per person... to get the bill we had to call them twice because they were in the kitchen chatting. Negative experience.

28/02/2026: The waitress was unbearable, rude, and treated us badly. We went for an aperitif; there were three platters to choose from, but she told us we could only get the basic one. When I said I wanted the other, the waitress started getting angry, saying I'd have to wait three hours, forcing my friends to get the basic one. AWFUL EXPERIENCE; the drink wasn't included, but I was forced to order it, and they had run out of chairs, so one of us had to stand.

31/01/2026: We went to Gianfornaio for a birthday party and were disappointed because, being in the EUR district, we weren't expecting such a low-quality aperitivo. The pizza platter was completely cold, and the Spritz was watered down and practically just ice. The place is also nice, but considering the service, the quality of the products we tried, and the price, it's an absolute FAIL.

18/02/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal right on the promenade in the sunshine. The appetizer (mixed antipasti) was excellent, as was the tuna steak. I can echo another customer's complaint that the condiments (vinegar, oil, salt, pepper) were placed on the table in paper or plastic packets. That's acceptable for a fast-food restaurant, but not for a high-quality one. However, the hamburger was inedible because it was quite burnt and black on both sides, as well as very bitter. We sent it back and waited for a replacement. Unfortunately, nothing was delivered. Normally, in other good restaurants, you receive a suitable replacement and an apology. When we paid, everything was initially charged normally; only after a lengthy discussion with the manager did he reduce the bill to just the fries. He said everything was fine. What a shame!

26/10/2025: Beyond the resort stay, the restaurant is highly recommended. The dishes are excellent, not overly special, but they do their part. The portions are generous. The restaurant feels luxurious, and the service confirms this. The waiters are extremely kind and helpful. They accompany you throughout the evening, making it truly enjoyable. Be careful of the noise in the kitchen, which, due to its poor soundproofing, can be a bit distracting given the serene and quiet atmosphere.

14/10/2025: Luxurious, very welcoming, well-furnished, and nestled in Borgo Lanciano. Excellent local dishes. A little pricey, but that's understandable given the setting.

08/08/2025: I'm very sorry to leave this negative review, which is certainly related to the girl at the bar, because it wasn't my first time there. First of all, the bar wasn't full, but I think the bartender wasn't very keen on working. I was at a table, and she completely ignored me, serving people who had arrived after me at the counter. I had to get up, order, and serve myself. I was even polite and cleared the table. I paid, and she didn't even give me a receipt. The worst thing is that I ordered a soy cappuccino and felt bad because the lady must have used cow's milk. Well done! I hope she's just an employee.

13/01/2026: Who doesn't enjoy swimming in a pool with cigarettes butts. Good things swimming caps are mandatory, but too bad no one told us it's not forced anyway, and in the end we didn't have to buy those swimming caps I guess. No lifeguard at the pool. Loud partying noises till 3am. When at 2am I called reception, because I couldn't sleep, they told me "1 hour" and left the phone hanging, so if you are planning your RELAXING STAY/VACATION it would probably be better to avoid this hotel.

05/01/2026: We stayed here for the first two days and the last day of a tour. The motto: great at the front, terrible at the back. We had a "handicapped room" for two nights. Large, with a balcony and a sea view. It was fine! On the last day, we had a room at the back. Small, with a view of slum-like alleys. Water reached the middle of the bathroom when we showered. On the day of departure, at 6:15 a.m. (it was still dark outside), the power outage in the room! We had to pack our suitcases using our cell phone lights! Later, we received no response, apology, or anything like that at reception. And why can't they replace this "balcony furniture"?

03/01/2026: Today we happened to come to Nicola's for lunch... A mix of seafood appetizers; we couldn't finish them all! Fresh and wonderful fish. I've always loved your pizza, but today I can say that you deserve 5 stars for the restaurant too!

21/02/2026: Nice atmosphere, very close to the Arlecchino slope. I didn't like the pizzoccheri (what cheese did they use?) or the Chiavennaschi gnocchi. The wait to pay was too long!

Chef Pollon, very attentive to the intolerances of some guests, expertly served the buffet in a spectacular and high-quality way. Mattia, the DJ, knew how to entertain our kids! Thank you, Silvia, for your kindness and enthusiasm in overseeing such a special event for us! Beautiful location! Recommended for events!

02/01/2026: I went to this restaurant for New Year's Eve, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The food was terrible: small portions, really bad flavor, and overall, it all seemed fake and of very low quality. I barely managed to eat anything. It was absolutely not worth the price we paid. The thing I found most shocking, however, was the payment process: we couldn't pay by card, and this information hadn't been communicated to us in advance. As a result, we couldn't even get a drink the entire evening because payment was cash only. The only positive note is that I still had a good time thanks to my friends, but certainly not because of the restaurant. It was a bad experience, and I will never spend New Year's Eve here again.

12/03/2026: I spent Carnival night there. The venue was great, the spectacle was fabulous and the complimentary Prosecco was very good, probably sponsored by the event organisers. There was a huge buffet, but it was difficult to reach the food because there were so many people. There was great music and entertainment.
