Summer 2026: The facility is closed, walking distance from Arabba. The last week of July is very quiet. The view is stunning. The food is ok.

Hiked there with my little daughter in the carrier. A very beautiful and cozy place! Contrary to the other reviews, I ate the best Kaiserschmarrn ever here :). Super friendly service and a beautiful view.

We were their first dinner customers of the summer season on the last night of our cycling holiday to Arabba and the stunning Dolomites. 5 stars from all nine of us: amazing location, extremely friendly, welcoming and patient service. The food was the best we'd had on our trip to this part of the world: delicious, excellent quality, beautifully presented. They even picked us up from Arabba town centre and dropped us back off again at no extra cost, saving us an hour's strenuous walk up the mountain (and wouldn't hear of any payment for this service!). Sure it's a little pricey, but we thought it was extremely good value for the quality, service and location (look at those views!). Good luck to all of you at the Burz for a lovely summer. Hope to see you again and thank you!

We came for a quick lunch and I had the bolognese which lacked depth but it did the job since I was hungry.

The hut is open as long as the lift is running. (5:00 PM) We had a drink before the last run. The waitress was visibly unmotivated. If they don't feel like working after 4:00 PM, they might as well close.

Beautiful day and great food! My girlfriend and I were here at the end of January and had a wonderful time. The beef shank was truly delicious, and the chicken (seen at the nearby tables) also looked very inviting. Special mention to the staff, who were all incredibly friendly, especially the bartender for her extreme kindness and helpfulness. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful refuge. We stopped for lunch during our ski break. The food was truly excellent and generous, the staff were friendly, and the wait times were well managed despite the crowds. Prices were reasonable for the dishes. A special mention to the chef. Highly recommended.

I went to the Burz Refuge and had a really good meal. I tried the spinach dumplings, which were very tasty and well-made, and the service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was welcoming, perfect after a day in the mountains. Recommended!

13/08/2026: Thought they deserved a more recent review since the other ones were older. We had great staff serve us our dishes that were really well made. Great spot for lunch and people watching.

Service: The highlight of the evening. Older, knowledgeable, and well-dressed with a twinkle in their eye. Value for money: A little expensive I think Recommendation: Absolutely worth a visit, but not a must.

Although we arrived close to closing time, we were greeted with great hospitality and served directly by the owner with an excellent local drink. It is a dream place! We arrived by electric bike, but it can also be easily reached on foot from Cortina via a pleasant 30-45 minute walk. It is also accessible by car. The location has a superb terrace with manicured grass, located right on the river bank, a perfect space for relaxation. A wonderful experience at Baita Spiaggia Verde! We felt very welcome here. Although we arrived close to closing time, we were greeted with great hospitality and served directly by the owner with an excellent local drink. It is a dream place!
