26/06/2025: Ieri mattina siamo tornati, ancora una volta, qui per una pausa caffè mattutina e, come altre volte, abbiamo fatto acquisti per il pranzo di mezzogiorno. Questa volta degli ottimi wrap contenenti nell'impasto anche dell'alga spirulina e farciti con salmone affumicato, avocado, rucola. Poi anche dell'insalata greca con cetrioli, formaggio feta, peperoni verdi, insalata, pomodorini. Tutto molto buono, come sempre.

09/05/2025: Ancora una volta mi sono fermato per una pausa caffè assieme, a mia moglie e a una nostra amica, e ancora una volta mi sono lasciato tentare dalle ottime proposte offerte da asporto. Come altre volte abbiamo comperato l'eccellente panino (di pane contenente carbone vegetale commestibile che gli conferisce il caratteristico colore nero) farcito con salmone affumicato, avocado, formaggio brie e insalata, che abbiamo poi condiviso a casa. Ottimo, come sempre!

21/09/2025: A delightful graduation celebration! ​We chose this restaurant, located inside the beautiful Hotel Culture Capodimonte, to celebrate my daughter's graduation. Our party began with an aperitif on the terrace, a touch that made the atmosphere even more special and enjoyable. ​The real added value that made the event a success was the young manager, Mr. Gaetano. His availability was simply exceptional. He was able to meet our every need with rare patience and kindness, making us feel supported and at ease throughout the dinner. He gave us the opportunity to organize every detail to our liking, including the music. ​On this note, I would also like to thank the DJ we chose, Carlo Palanca dj set Napoli: the atmosphere he created was perfect for the occasion and helped make the day even more memorable. ​I am convinced that this restaurant has great potential and that, with the commitment of people like Gaetano, it can achieve even greater success. I highly recommend it for the professionalism, availability and flexibility of all the staff.

17/09/2025: The restaurant is located inside the Culture Hotel, and it felt very much like a typical hotel restaurant — make of that what you will. We chose it for our last dinner in Italy since we were staying at the hotel. We were seated immediately as the dining room had just opened and was still empty. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the only quick part of the evening. After our order was taken, the server rarely returned unless flagged down, and while bread was brought to the table (as is customary in Italy), no oil or vinegar accompanied it. When the food finally arrived, there was some confusion. We had ordered the traditional filet al pepe verde, which translates as “fillet with green peppers.” We expected peppers, but it’s actually a fillet served in a creamy green peppercorn sauce with capers. Not the restaurant’s fault, but worth noting for those unfamiliar with the dish. My own entrée, however, was missing an ingredient. I had remembered it was supposed to include sausage, but assumed I had misunderstood until I later checked the display menu and confirmed the sausage was indeed omitted. For dessert, some of our group tried the daily special panna cotta. It looked beautiful but was underwhelming in taste. My girlfriend almost never leaves dessert unfinished, but even with my help, nearly half remained untouched. Overall, service was inattentive, food execution uneven, and flavors forgettable. For a hotel restaurant, it wasn’t shocking — but as a final dinner in Italy, it was disappointing.

22/04/2025: La camarera era muy amable y la comida era sabrosa (un poco fría) sin embargo: Sirvieron un plato antes que todos los demás, luego sirvieron a otras tres personas y se olvidaron de un plato más. A la hora de pagar (les he pedido que cancelen el plato restante) , me pidieron que fuera al mostrador y esperara allí unos minutos antes de que alguien se fijara en mí. Y por supuesto que me cobraron 6 € por el servicio.

20/04/2025: Abbiamo deciso di fare un aperitivo classico da dividere in due perché non avevamo molta fame. Veramente terribile il servizio perché abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti per niente. Questo perché non avevamo fame e il cameriere ci ha detto che non potevamo prendere solo un aperitivo e una bottiglia di acqua.

13/07/2025: I was invited to my friend Piero's birthday party, and my family and I, who had come from Palermo on vacation to Tuscany, ate an excellent pizza. We left satisfied. There were a lot of us, and the wait was long. The pizza was huge and thin, making it easy to slice. The staff was extremely kind and remembered every detail, even though there were over 30 of us. A good pizza for those who want to fill up and spend less. One small flaw: the pizza is a little too thin, and the flavor doesn't last long afterward. All in all, it was a great experience.

19/10/2025: Sunday family lunch. The pasta and gnocchi with venison were good. The downside was the moldy brown bread and breadsticks. The staff was unfriendly and rude. After pointing this out and denying it, the waiters began to gossip. When it was time to leave, the waitress responded rudely. I'd say it was unprofessional.

03/10/2025: Excellent food, impeccable service! We chose this restaurant to celebrate a special birthday, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The food was simply delicious—the lobster fettuccine was delicious—everything was carefully prepared with high-quality ingredients. 10/10/2025: We stayed here for the first two days and the last day of a tour. The motto: great at the front, terrible at the back. We had a "handicapped room" for two nights. Large, with a balcony and a sea view. It was fine! On the last day, we had a room at the back. Small, with a view of slum-like alleys. Water reached the middle of the bathroom when we showered. On the day of departure, at 6:15 a.m. (it was still dark outside), the power outage in the room! We had to pack our suitcases using our cell phone lights! Later, we received no response, apology, or anything like that at reception. And why can't they replace this "balcony furniture"?

07/10/2025: The rooms are very disappointing and basic. We booked two superior rooms but had to change our dates and ended up getting one superior and one standard, both at the price of the superior. And the difference between the two options is significant (standard has no balcony, no view and is much smaller). Breakfast mediocre and at 9.20 am already cold and not much left. Coffee absolutely disgusting. The only positive was that the receptionist nice and friendly.

05/10/2025: We had pizzas for dinner at the campsite restaurant because we were tired. They were good, but nothing special.

13/09/2025: Tea and coffee were served with dirty spoons. They changed them 3 times but still did not give a clean spoon. It seems to me that when spoons are returned because they are dirty, the next spoon should be checked before giving it to the customer, and not take away the dirty spoon and give a dirty spoon again. 26/10/2025: Such a good find! Great place to spot for aperitivo and to relax after walking around Florence. Have been here on multiple occasions when in Florence. Cutest wine window for takeaway or to dine in. The patio is exquisite and the music is always good. Chicken Karage is a stray from Italian food but sooo worth it!

30/09/2025: For coffee, they tell you it's inside. But they don't tell you there's no table service. Inside, the free tables were uncleaned and dirty, including ours. A waiter cleared all the tables except ours and, aside from that, didn't tell us they weren't serving tables. After waiting long enough, we left. And that's when they see you're annoyed and tell you they're not serving tables. But when they clean the empty ones, except for ours, and at least mention that you have to order at the bar, nothing. Arrogant, pretentious, unprofessional. Poor service, not to the customer, but to the people.

Not only does he also hang around the place so he's wanted there by management, but he extorts 2 euros from you by force, calling it payment: payment when? And he wanted 2 euros by force, anyway, we go in for a beer... And nothing, practically no choice... Only 2 beers from a discount store... We chose to get 3 Nastro Azzurro, there were 3 of us, we paid 10.50 euros for 3 peroni. But I also want to give you 3 euros for the peroni and 2 euros for parking, but damn you, it must be worth it... It's become a seedy place frequented by seedy people. Highly not recommended.

12/10/2025: We went last night with a couple of friends and were very pleased: the house antipasto, sciatt, pizzoccheri, and sliced ​​beef were delicious. The fillet with gorgonzola and walnut sauce was excellent: very tender fillet and very good sauce.

16/07/2025: Patron très accueillant (parle italien, anglais et français) La cuisine est tellement bonne que nous y sommes allés deux soirs d’affilée, service assez rapide et nous avons été prévenu lorsqu’un plat allait m’être plus de temps à être préparer. Nous hésitons à y retourner une troisième fois mais le patron va penser qu’on le harcèle.

08/07/2025: Questa sera, tra tante abbiamo scelto questa trattoria e direi che ci è andata benone. Io ho preso un piatto insolito, razza con il pecorino, rivelatasi ottima e mio marito le cozze. Quindi calamaro alla griglia per me e fritto misto per lui: soprattutto questo piatto era abbondante ma leggero, saporito con molto anelli di calamaro, due gamberoni e due pezzi grandi di pesce. Per concludere due buonissime seadas e un vinello della casa fruttato e delizioso. Prezzo onestissimo. Abbiamo un solo rimpianto, averlo scoperto l' ultima sera.
