12/03/2026: I went to this pizzeria for an evening organized by dance schools. The atmosphere was friendly and pleasant, and the dining room was large. The menu was limited to pizzas and drinks, but nothing else, not even chips.

15/02/2026: DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!! I was thinking of spending a different evening, perhaps with some smooth dancing. From 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM they put on two Fox and two tangos, then it was all line dancing.

08/03/2026: A gem a little out of the way, which is a plus. Very cute and well-maintained. The owners are unobtrusive but present. The food is excellent!!! If I really had to find a negative, it would be the size of my carbonara, which was a bit too much; I didn't finish it... Excellent value for money. I'll be back in the spring to eat outside. Well done.

04/03/2026: I ordered a set menu. Simple, but tempting. Big disappointment, the pasta wasn't cooked. The waitress's response: "Sono al dente, siamo in Italia…" 😩 And that was that… I'd been there a while ago and it was good. I won't be going back…

23/03/2026: Stylish cabin with a beautiful view and high-quality food. High prices. Unfortunately, the service is terrible; I couldn't order ribs with salad instead of fries, they were completely inflexible. Splitting the bill wasn't offered. The service isn't worth the price.

15/03/2026: We paid and were kicked out because we didn't seem suitable according to the bodyguards even though we had paid the entrance ticket, I give one star because they can't give zero, I don't recommend it to anyone, it's a waste of money and above all they are heartless people

15/03/2026: Terrible experience. I was denied entry for no valid reason, on the unfounded accusation that I had been using drugs. I find it extremely unfair to be deemed 'unsuitable' based solely on a supposition, without any evidence, and without the slightest respect for the customer, despite the constant attempts to defuse the situation by being polite to the staff who were doing their job. This kind of behavior is humiliating and unprofessional. If this is how you treat people, I strongly advise anyone reading this to choose other establishments where respect and fairness come first.

12/10/2025: Be careful with the affogato al caffè, which costs 6 euros. A 3.50 cone is better.

27/10/2025: Cala Marin Bar was a huge disappointment. It's the bar attached to the lido, so you'd expect slightly higher prices than average, but what's truly disappointing is the poor quality of the food served. The food offering is very limited, and what little there is is sloppily prepared and poorly executed. We tried a few items on the menu, and unfortunately, almost everything was inedible. Dry sandwiches, less-than-fresh ingredients, and no attention to presentation or flavor. Everything seemed prepackaged and hastily reheated, with no regard for the final quality. The price-to-service ratio was simply unacceptable. The only positive exception was the rustico leccese, which at €3 was at least decent compared to the rest. However, one decent item isn't enough to save the overall experience. The service is slow and inattentive, with long waits even when there are no customers. Cala Marin Bar seems to thrive solely on its location, but it's completely lacking in attention and professionalism. I don't recommend it, and I don't think we'll return. There are much better options in the area.

21/09/2025: We visited a beachside bar in Italy as a group of six gay friends, and unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience. When we ordered tequila with salt and lime, the waiter realized we were gay and made a rather offensive remark, saying that “salt and lime is a lady’s thing, not for men.” He then refused to bring the accompaniments we asked for. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and shows a level of prejudice we did not expect to encounter. So here’s a heads-up to other LGBTQIA+ customers looking for a welcoming environment: sadly, this place did not treat us with the respect everyone deserves.

03/03/2026: Rude bar. We bought water, coffee, and breakfast. A pregnant friend of mine sat down at a table for a moment to rest and drink water, and the waitress twice ordered her to get up or she'd have to pay for the service (the place was empty). Rude to the max. The guy at the counter, however, was courteous and polite.

30/06/2025: I stopped here once before Castel Sant’Angelo, on Via della Conciliazione. The coffee was okay, probably because they use Illy brand. I had one espresso and one orange juice al banco (no table service), and they charged me €6.90. I still don’t understand how that was calculated. The orange juice wasn’t fresh and the glass was only 2/3 full. But the worst part was the attitude of the two baristas – no hello, no “please”, just a very rude and arrogant way of dealing with people. I’ve honestly never seen a place with so many bad reviews. That made me feel like my experience wasn’t just a one-time thing. Seems like most people are unhappy with the quality and service. The location is amazing, but sadly, like many places near tourist landmarks, they don’t care about quality or customer experience. It feels more like a tourist trap.

14/06/2025: Ordered 1 bruschetta that didn’t have a price, got 2 instead (and charged) then got charged for 2 prossuito and cheese and spent $90 on this crap. The waiter insisted on a tip ina country that doesn’t require tips and got upset when I handed him my change for him standing at the door. Awful service, crap food and wasn’t worth the air conditioning we wanted to pay for. AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE
