Old George In Venezia

Yesterday for a quick dinner, we opted for this Irish-style pub, we hadn't been there for a while and although the welcome was more than friendly, it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. The place is small, so I recommend booking if you want to find a free table, the atmosphere is intimate with soft lights, but otherwise it didn't excite me as much as I would have liked. Being small environments, the tables are very close to each other, if they start to fill up, the environment becomes a bit chaotic and it is difficult to talk to each other.....it fits in a pub but it seemed to me it lacked a soul, perhaps because I was in Ireland recently and frequented some typical venues there, where as soon as you entered you immediately found the warmth of the live music and the people... it's difficult to reproduce all of this in its entirety in Italy. For the rest the food was normal, my husband had a club and a beer which he really appreciated, I had a savory crepes with vegetables which I thought was a bit bland. Warned by the waitress that we would have to wait for the crêpe, because they had many take-away orders, we tried to kill the wait with some fried potatoes. I was a little annoyed by the reason for the wait, because in any case at 7.30pm there weren't many occupied tables yet and I thought they were giving priority to on-site orders, but in their favor I must say that they tried to speed up delivery to the table. We then finished with one of their desserts. Low prices, we didn't spend more than €20 each.

A mio avviso il miglior pub in zona Mestre e dintorni. Birra ottima(io personalmente ho provato la midnight, buonissima) cibo di qualità e abbondante, personale preparato e professionale. Molto consigliato.

Un punto di riferimento dove ti senti a casa e il prodotto è di livello altissimo! Personale preparato e disponibile, burger e atmosfera ineguagliabili. Un must per chi è amante dello stare bene!

Top!! l’hamburger più buono di Mestre . I club più buoni del Veneto. Numero 1. Piacevolmente sorpreso. Peccato per la difficoltà di parcheggiare ma due passi a piedi fanno bene
