16/03/2026: Delicious food, excellent service. We had a wonderful evening here. Delicious meat, appetizers, a good wine list. The waiters were very attentive. I decided to share my opinion about one dessert item, and the waiter immediately said he would remove it from the bill. I immediately said I would pay for it; I was just expressing my opinion for the future. The item was removed from the final bill. A very nice gesture, high quality. I highly recommend visiting.

21/02/2026: Absolutely amazing experience dining here. Leandry was excellent, he was knowledgeable on the food and wine. This was by far the best service I have ever received. I would highly recommend the Amatriciana dish. Complimentary bread, dessert liqueur, and a glass of prosecco as well. Thank you Leandry!

19/03/2026: Wow! The food was absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for truly authentic, high-quality cuisine, this is the spot. My wife and I purposely stayed away from the more touristy, commercial areas because we wanted a genuine experience, and this place delivered beyond expectations. It was hands down the best meal we had on our entire trip, and the price was very reasonable for the quality you get. On top of that, everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind which, in our experience, isn’t always common when visiting Italy. We left completely impressed and would definitely come back if even in Milan!

23/03/2026: This is an absolute gem of the Michelin catalogue. Fully deserving of its star, from the moment you enter to the moment you leave, you feel like a VIP. Salvatore and the floor team do an amazing job, and I tip my hat to the chefs in the kitchen who create and execute some of the most interesting and delicious dishes I’ve ever had. I loved that each dish had a different flavour profile, and the selection is outstanding. I went for the 9 course chefs menu, but it’s so much more than that. Prepare to be taken through a culinary masterclass! Would highly recommend!

30/01/2026: Few reviews, but good ones, only where it's worth it. And here it's worth it! Everything is delicious, even the bread and breadsticks from the bakery, served with delicious creamed butter. Quality, fresh, and above all local products. Original and never boring combinations of flavors. Pumpkin gnocchi with homemade smoked speck, beetroot with goat cheese and cashews, grilled beef from a local producer was SPECTACULAR, melting in the mouth without being greasy. Unfortunately, dessert wasn't included! Excellent wine selection, even by the glass. The manager is very good, explaining the dishes and helping you choose. Trust him with the wine selection, too. The young woman in the dining room is also very good, kind, and sweet. Definitely worth returning whenever you're in the area!

12/04/2026: The best sandwich I've had in all of Italy. The wait is absolutely worth it, the staff are so friendly, everything is fresh, and you get to build your sandwich exactly the way you want, all made right in front of you. Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend it!

16/01/2026: How can any restaurant stand out in the wealth of wonderful dining venues in Florence? Well, Il Barretto can. The restaurant is charming, and the host and staff are wonderful, but then you are served such absolutely delicious food, and you say, "I think that we made a good choice here." It is as though every meal is prepared by someone's mother. Just stunning. Also, the wine paired so well. I cannot speak highly enough of the atmosphere, the service, and the exceptional food. The location of the restaurant is perfect for a pre-cocktail at Uggi or other venues. If I were you, I would go out of my way to dine at Il Barretto.

16/01/2026: Great dining experience across the board! The atmosphere is remarkable -- elegant but effortlessly comfortable. We split a Burrata as a starter, and it was deeply flavorful. For mains we had a Black Truffle Taglitelli and Ossobucco with a side of their potatoes. Every bite was a treat. We enjoyed a really nice Tuscan blend red wine that the waiter recommended (wish we had noted the name), and it paired very well with both our mains. We were far too full to order a dessert, but it was tempting. We had some terrific dining experiences in Firenza, and this is at the top of our list. Ben fatto!!

02/03/2026: We had squid ink pasta and seafood pasta. Two people shared it, and the portions were so filling that we were very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the seafood filling was plentiful, which was great. When we paid the bill, they gave us a cute magnet as a souvenir. Both our hearts and stomachs were full, and we felt great.

The magnet was also cute, and I was excited until the time I left. I'm glad I came to this restaurant! If you're still undecided, I highly recommend giving it a try!

04/03/2026: While it's not the best restaurant in Lombardy, it's still among the best. Revisited local cuisine and carefully crafted dishes. Excellent and welcoming service. We'll definitely be back.
