10/02/2026: A simple, well-kept, and very welcoming place that makes you feel at home, with a wonderful view of the Ponte Vecchio, very kind staff. The food is exquisite, we had a mix of excellent cheeses, the tasty meatballs, and finally the tiramisu was super! We'll be back soon!

02/02/2026: We went there twice during our short stay in Florence! The place is cozy and offers an unparalleled view of the Ponte Vecchio. The food is delicious and the drinks are top-notch (the beer selection is also excellent). The prices are absolutely fair considering the incredible location and the quality of the food and drinks we had. Adriano was an excellent host. We'll be back!

13/01/2026: I came here for the breakfast part of my bed and breakfast. Atmosphere here on this cloudy morning through their skylight is top notch. The morning buffet was excellent, everything tasted amazing. The barista, Mika, making the drinks was very kind and happy. The ambient music was all perfect.

15/01/2026: We had an absolutely outstanding dinner at Borgo San Jacopo for my husband’s birthday back in October. The restaurant itself is both cozy and beautiful and the service was attentive without feeling like someone was hovering over you all evening. We were given the option of ordering a la carte or a choice of 3 tasting menus with the caveat that if you choose a tasting menu the whole table must choose the same one. We went with a tasting menu and really loved the number of courses that it allowed us to sample. Favorite dishes were the ricotta snack, risotto with meatballs, the lamb loin and the salted caramel peanut bonbon at the end. The mushroom ice cream that was served with the crudités was very interesting and we also loved the house made olive oil. They really made my husband’s birthday feel special and it was one of our best meals in Italy.

05/01/2026: Having ended up there after being bounced from another restaurant, we were welcomed and taken on an exciting tasting menu. The quality of the ingredients combined with the chef's skill produce dishes that are unpredictable and delicious in every way. The service was impeccable, with a professionalism rarely found, even at other Michelin-starred restaurants. A huge round of applause and thanks to Domiziana, Lorenzo, and Salvatore.

14/02/2026: I sincerely thank the entire staff for accommodating all our requests, because we had to bring forward our Valentine's Day dinner since there were no more seats available on February 14th. The staff was (more or less) professional. We chose the 7-course tasting menu, and I enjoyed everything. I was only slightly disappointed with the main dessert, which, subjectively, should have been more refreshing, sweet, and flavorful at the end. Instead, the Brie and coffee combination seemed heavy and had a strange taste. We did, however, enjoy the dessert made especially for Valentine's Day. In conclusion, we had a lovely evening. Thank you.

23/01/2026: First of all, I honestly don’t think this restaurant deserves to be a Michelin 2-star establishment. There were several issues that I found particularly disappointing. The first incident was when a male server (not the head sommelier) was pouring water and accidentally dropped an ice cube onto the table. He clearly noticed it, yet made no effort to remove it or address the situation. Other staff members must have seen it as well while clearing the table, but no one took any action, which was very disappointing. Second, when the signature fish dish was served, there was an inedible, tough stem in the sea asparagus. Thanks to the head sommelier’s response, this issue was resolved smoothly, so I was willing to let it go. However, in the main pigeon dish, I encountered inedible fascia twice. I mentioned this to male server, but once again, I received no response, explanation, or follow-up. Lastly, when the main dessert was served, as you can see from the photo, it was the same dessert but one plate had noticeably fewer garnishes than the other. Considering all of this, it was extremely disappointing to see a restaurant of this standard being labeled as a Michelin 2-star. I would also like to say that the male server mentioned above was absolutely not at a level that befits a 2-star Michelin restaurant. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

13/12/2025: Delicious marinara pasta! The dish I got is called PaStation. But what really stood out was the service. The server gave me suggestions when I was deciding, and then remembered to ask if I wanted extra Parmesan while I was eating, so thoughtful! They have free wifi too.

10/12/2025: Staff was very good she explained everything to me and great service. The food was not good, the cheese was so salty, and atmosphere of the restaurant was all food smell, not good place to seat.

16/10/2025: Impeccable service. I was looking for a particular book, they found it for me, and in half a minute it was gift-wrapped and ready.

08/09/2025: Spectacular! Lots of variety and very friendly staff. You can find history books and recreational games in different languages.

24/12/2025: Excellent Tuscan food. Fast and well-organized service. Excellent value. I recommend the Peposo and slow-cooked Capocollo. The restaurant is very spacious and suitable for large group dinners.

01/02/2026: It's probably worth it for the pizza (which I couldn't order because I'm gluten intolerant), but not for the fish. The food was good, but the portions were meager, and the dishes didn't match the menu descriptions. The tables on the mezzanine were completely ignored by the service; we ordered extra potatoes because we were still hungry, but after an hour they still hadn't arrived. For dessert, we had to call the waiter while he was serving the next table and wait another half hour for him to come and take our orders. After an hour and a half, practically on an empty stomach, we decided to leave, canceling our dessert order and also encountering a great deal of rudeness and disrespect at the cashier for our polite explanations. A real shame.
