13/01/2026: I came here for the breakfast part of my bed and breakfast. Atmosphere here on this cloudy morning through their skylight is top notch. The morning buffet was excellent, everything tasted amazing. The barista, Mika, making the drinks was very kind and happy. The ambient music was all perfect.

15/01/2026: We had an absolutely outstanding dinner at Borgo San Jacopo for my husband’s birthday back in October. The restaurant itself is both cozy and beautiful and the service was attentive without feeling like someone was hovering over you all evening. We were given the option of ordering a la carte or a choice of 3 tasting menus with the caveat that if you choose a tasting menu the whole table must choose the same one. We went with a tasting menu and really loved the number of courses that it allowed us to sample. Favorite dishes were the ricotta snack, risotto with meatballs, the lamb loin and the salted caramel peanut bonbon at the end. The mushroom ice cream that was served with the crudités was very interesting and we also loved the house made olive oil. They really made my husband’s birthday feel special and it was one of our best meals in Italy.

05/01/2026: Having ended up there after being bounced from another restaurant, we were welcomed and taken on an exciting tasting menu. The quality of the ingredients combined with the chef's skill produce dishes that are unpredictable and delicious in every way. The service was impeccable, with a professionalism rarely found, even at other Michelin-starred restaurants. A huge round of applause and thanks to Domiziana, Lorenzo, and Salvatore.

The atmosphere on the rooftop is truly magical, with a breathtaking view over Florence that makes the experience unforgettable. The food was outstanding — beautifully presented and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was delicious and carefully prepared. The wine selection was excellent and perfectly complemented our meal. What made the evening even more special was the service. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the entire dinner. We chose this restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect place for such a special occasion. Thank you to the whole team for an unforgettable experience. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Florence!

14/02/2026: I sincerely thank the entire staff for accommodating all our requests, because we had to bring forward our Valentine's Day dinner since there were no more seats available on February 14th. The staff was (more or less) professional. We had the 7-course tasting menu, and I enjoyed everything. I was only slightly disappointed with the main dessert, which, subjectively, should have been more refreshing, sweet, and flavorful at the end. Instead, the Brie and coffee combination seemed heavy and had a strange taste. We did, however, enjoy the dessert made especially for Valentine's Day. In conclusion, we had a lovely evening. Thank you.

28/02/2026: This restaurant has a long history, and my experience truly lived up to its reputation: the best Florentine steak I've ever eaten! The other dishes were also very thoughtful and attentive. The waiters carefully reminded us of portion sizes, and every detail of the service was meticulously attended to. Even though this is a popular restaurant that requires advance reservations, they didn't skimp on service! I believe their business will continue to thrive! 👍

15/03/2026: I went there for lunch. I had well-prepared fish. The service was very fast, and there was prosecco and a welcome appetizer. Parking was easy, and the bill was good! Good olive oil is a given!

09/03/2026: We waited 60 minutes for a pizza after ordering. Total disorganization, the pizza is good, the atmosphere is okay, although it's very crowded, voices echoing throughout the rooms, and chaos reigns. High prices, no service.
