16/08/2024: Wow! This place is faultless ! It is the kind of restaurant that is the go-to especially for meat lovers, but the fish is also very good. We had the mixed starters, an incredible selection of meats and vegetables , ranging from beef carpaccio to aubergine with lardo, to pecorino sardo fried in pane carasau, to a meat that was stewed for hours, similar to brisket but 20000 times better, moist, tender , so flavourful. There were fiori di zucca as well, fried in a light batter, as light as the best tempura. We also had the pasta with wild boar ragù, the fregola with fiori di zucca, and the culurgiones with a pecorino sardo cream and truffle sauce, followed by by Porceddu, and the Donkey meat with fiori di zucca sauce. All of them absolutely divine! To finish we had the seadas with 2 types of artisanal honey, and the Filindeu croccante, another delight . We ended with a digestive “banana” liqueur, a house speciality, and a limoncello as well! A perfect meal with faultless service and great , fantastic food ! I want to go back already ! Book as the place is tiny and you would curse yourself if they don’t let you in because they are full !

11/08/2024: Really nice local restaurant with late opening hours. Very much appreciated since we arrived late in Cagliari and wanted to have a late snack in the neighborhood. We enjoyed it so much that we came back several times. Really good food and very nice people working here!

26/08/2024: Servizio impeccabile e piatti dal sapore unico! Location centralissima con terrazza che affaccia sulla via della passeggiata. Conto finale perfettamente nella media del posto ma ritengo che per la qualità offerta ci stia pagare qualcosina in più.

25/08/2024: Location suggestiva nel centro di Villasimius. Personale educato e professionale. Menu vario con proposte sia di carne che di pesce. Noi abbiamo optato per il pesce, fregola super.. porzioni abbondanti. Prezzo in linea. Consigliato! Prenotare per tempo, in terrazza!

16/08/2024: Nice little restaurant, which is in a typical tourist area, but still exudes charm. We just stopped in to have a drink, but the salad at the next table looked delicious, so I promptly ordered it. It was good, it was tasty and also sufficient with a scoop of burrata and delicious balsamic vinegar. It didn't cost the earth and I think at 35° it wasn't such a bad choice. Everything was reasonably priced and, above all, the service was very nice and friendly. However, we noticed that people don't like it if they just order something to drink :)=

20/08/2024: Restaurant recommended by a friend from Castelsardo, I was a little disappointed. There were two of us plus the little one. We spent 89.9 euros taking a cold appetizer (good and delicate but expensive for a mini tasting of 5 mini courses), a calameretto in fruit (16 or 18 euros I don't remember but really a small handful of fried...), two lobster linguine (not bad, good). Plus 1 liter of house white. The staff seemed like a first experience, a lot of waiting, a cold welcome (apart from a kind young waiter), the owner, when it came to the bill, when he noticed my disappointment, didn't even dare ask why... and instead it is important to understand the mistakes or at least give voice to the customer..). No one offered us either dessert or digestive (never seen that). Oh well... after years in the restaurant business I expected better. Good luck

15/08/2024: Nice place with the possibility of eating outside and inside even if there was an excessive presence of bees, ordered a cut and Roman chicory, all of which arrived in a few minutes, it was noted that the serving was small, which needed to be cut further given the ribbed parts of the meat which arrived cut into slices with medium cooking. Once the uneatable part has been removed, there is very little left to enjoy. The chicory arrives and I notice from chewing it that it is inedible. We have it brought back asking why they cooked the stems and not the softer parts of the chicory. We ask them to cook it further upon arrival we note that there is no possibility of tasting it. we pay the bill by asking for feedback from a person at the cash register who understands little with the eastern inflection the cooking method and the real Roman chicory, he points out to us that the cook and Sardinian but this does not establish the carelessness of the courses and the carelessness of the dish, we hope for greater attention towards customers given the name and responsibility that Roman cuisine carries with it.

15/08/2024: If you want to eat real Roman cuisine, you can't miss coming to the Roman osteria of Selargius, every dish is a delicacy, the waiters are always smiling and careful not to let you miss anything, very kind and quick in service, all the dishes are very generous and the prices accessible to everyone, I will definitely return.

26/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante questa sera. Dalle ottime recensioni siamo stati attirati, credo siano tutte Fake. In 2 settimane zona Alghero non siamo mai stati così male. Dopo 30 minuti di attesa ci è stato detto che il pescato del giorno non c’era. Ok. Antipasto di pesce non c’era. Siccome che diverse pietanze a base di pesce non erano presente chiede gentilmente delle linguine al cartoccio: mi dispiace sono per minimo 2 persone. La cameriera esordisce quindi con: Per fare più veloce vi conviene una pizza. In terrazza si fuma e i tavoli in torno a me mi hanno letteralmente affumicato. Un gatto nero non ha fatto altro che saltare sui tavoli vuoti (apparecchiati) e strusciarsi sulla gente. Inutile dire che mi ha fatto perdere l’appetito per la margherita che ho dovuto mangiare. Per di più di media-bassa qualità. Sconsiglio su tutti i fronti, nelle vicinanze locali molto più meritevoli. P.s. Sto ancora aspettando il sale che ho chiesto a inizio cena.

13/08/2024: Wir sind der Empfehlung unseres Reiseführers gefolgt und wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht. Wir sind sogar in der Woche noch zweimal wiedergekommen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr gut, die Bedienungen waren freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Wir haben an den verschiedenen Abenden reserviert und einen Tisch im Hof bekommen, dabei in verschiedenen Kombinationen mal Pizza, Gnochetti Pomodori, ein Fischgericht, Taglierini mit Meeresfrüchten, Caprese, Tiramisu, Crema Catalana, Espressi, den weißen Hauswein und Mineralwasser bestellt. Vielleicht war der Hauswein nicht ganz unser Geschmack, aber den haben wir dann als Schorle getrunken. Die Gnocchetti sind auf der Zunge zergangen, die Pizza war einfach und gut, der Fisch war hervorragend, alles machte den Eindruck frisch zubereitet zu sein. Der teuerste Abend lag für uns bei ~26€/Person.

15/07/2024: Ik ben jaren geleden een paar keer bij Ristorante Flora geweest, en het was een geweldige ervaring: druk, je moest lang tevoren reserveren, uitsluitend lokale en wat chique gasten. Professionele obers in jacquet , een Fantastische ambiance, en ook fantastisch eten. Ik had mij erop verheugd daar weer terug te gaan tijdens mijn vakantie op Sardinië. Helaas werd het een grote desillusie. Er was werkelijk niets over van het restaurant van weleer- er bleken slechts 3 tafels bezet, allen met toeristen, vermoedelijk hotelgasten. In de eens zo sfeervolle tuin hing hier en daar oud speelgoed ter decoratie, stond een step geparkeerd, en hingen doeken om de keuken af te schermen. Het keukengeluid hoorde je echter wel. De menukaart was ook totaal anders, en het eten bleek beneden peil : de huisgemaakte ravioli met visvulling bleken een soort vormeloze, uit elkaar gevallen dikke pastaballen te zijn, met een paar mosselen en vongole erover gestrooid. Ik heb ze terug gestuurd. De mixed fish van de grill voor 2 personen a 50 euro bestond uit 1 grote vis in 4 stukken gehakt waarvan kop en staart niet eetbaar, wat inktvisringen, 3 kleine gamba’s pp, en een paar mini visjes die meer graat dan vis waren. Het dessert, limoensorbet die slijmerig en lauw was, en tiramisu die hoofdzakelijk slagroom bevatte, leken fabrieks producten te zijn. We waren echt diep teleurgesteld in zowel de ervaring als de kwaliteit van het eten. De pluspunten waren dat de dame die ons bediende zeer vriendelijk was, al was het geen ober met allure meer, maar een meisje in spijkerbroek. En ook de wijn was naar onze smaak, op advies van deze dame. Maar verder kan ik alleen zeggen: sla dit restaurant over! Voor 100 euro kun je elders veel beter en gezelliger terecht.
