We returned several times until the staff became the owners and managers of the place. We believe that a place is made by those who work there. The bill was 81 and they charged 86, not because of the extra 5 francs, but that's absolutely not done, because if a customer wants to leave a tip, they leave one. But that's stealing. Making fun of things is not okay. The service leaves much to be desired and isn't the best.

23/11/2025: Quiet little place, with a terrace in the summer. The food is excellent, the portions are adequate and you don't have to wait long for them. The staff and service are great, I've been to such an excellent place in a long time! The atmosphere is family-friendly, a real Italian atmosphere! I recommend it to everyone from the bottom of my heart!!

22/11/2025: The best meal we had in our northern Italy trip! We passed by this restaurant on the way back from Sirmione old town, and seeing its seafood-oriented menu, we gave it a try - and it was the best decision. We had a full course with appetiser, main course and desert, we enjoyed every one of them. Especially the scallops gratin with pistachio and the spaghetti with crustaceans sause was absolutely amazing, every bite was a wonder. The staff was very friendly and made sure everything is alright. Absolutely recommended!

17/09/2025: The service is absolutely nonexistent! Everyone stares at the waiter, who works alone, with hungry eyes. The food is delicious, but the portions are very small. We never got dessert! This was our worst experience in Sirmione, I don't recommend it.

08/12/2025: A pleasant experience. The setting is well-maintained and elegant. I liked the entrance, which feels like a pier for boarding a boat. Regarding the menu, I must say I was particularly impressed by the cacio e pepe with red shrimp tartare. The raw fish was standard fare, with little variety and lots of carpaccios/tartares. Other diners thought the appetizers were really good; the first courses, like the seafood risotto, were less popular, though it was still good, let's be clear. The service was a bit lackluster in my opinion: there was little welcome or interaction with other diners, and we weren't greeted upon leaving. I don't feel like giving an overall negative review; I'm sure they'll pay more attention to this aspect. See you soon!

03/10/2025: We treat ourselves to this dining experience once a year. It's not without reason, and rightly so, that Maria has held a Michelin star as a chef for many decades. Add to that the attractive interior design and exquisite tableware. The service is top-notch and completes the feel-good atmosphere. We'll see you again on your next stay in Gargnano.
