18/10/2025: A little disappointing overall. The website constantly crashes. It took over 30 attempts to secure a table. The only option left for an early dinner on my birthday was at the Bistrot Garden. My biggest concern was how poorly my food allergy was handled. I had to ask five times whether the dishes brought to me were safe. Three of them contained ingredients I cannot eat and could have put me in hospital. At this level, I would expect the kitchen to offer a suitable alternative or a simple sauce adjustment, especially on a €110 starter. Most restaurants of this calibre handle dietary restrictions with care and professionalism, often suggesting safe bread or sides. The main courses were also underwhelming. My husband’s king crab arrived lukewarm, while mine was so hot it burned my lips. I mentioned the temperature issue twice before the manager came over felt confrontational at this point, and we were still charged for the dishes I didn’t eat/ The wine selection was the saving grace, with excellent options and knowledgeable service from the sommelier. We left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry. Not the experience we had hoped for, especially given the price and reputation.

18/10/2025: The squid with zucchini and king crab are very tasty. Excellent service as well. Definitely worth a try.

21/09/2025: A very welcoming place, with charming outdoor tables, aided by the quiet street that creates a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is young, friendly, and attentive. As soon as you sit down, they bring delicious bread and olives, and at the end of the meal, they offer a refreshing lemon sorbet, a very welcome gesture. The dish I chose, seared tuna in a sesame crust with marinated fennel and sour cream, was truly well-prepared and delicious.

19/09/2025: We had dinner at this seafood restaurant the other night, and on the way home, I was a bit unsure how to rate it. I'll start with the positives: the staff was truly friendly, attentive, and helpful, and I loved the atmosphere—welcoming and meticulously maintained. I have nothing to complain about; I had a wonderful time. The menu, however, left me a bit perplexed: the raw seafood didn't particularly impress me; it wasn't particularly flavorful, though I didn't doubt the quality of the ingredients. On the other hand, the shrimp tartare was sublime. For my first course, I chose the tagliolini with squid ink: truly amazing. Perfectly cooked, with a bold flavor and a generous portion. For our second course, we tried the grilled octopus on a ricotta and chard cream. The octopus was incredibly tender and melted in the mouth, but the ricotta cream didn't entirely convince me: slightly acidic, it almost tasted more like sour cream than ricotta. The complimentary lemon sorbet at the end of the meal was very welcome, and the desserts were also truly excellent. In conclusion, spending around €50 per person for seafood in Milan is more than reasonable. I'll definitely be back: my hesitation probably depended more on the choice of dishes than the food itself :)

21/10/2025: Back with my family after a few years... and it's always a very pleasant confirmation: carefully prepared dishes, warm and welcoming atmosphere, very friendly waiters but the real plus is, as usual, the owner Angelo: an exquisite person, attentive and always available: he always makes you feel pampered and at ease.

18/10/2025: I went with my partner and my one-and-a-half-year-old son, and we had a great time. Every waiter was friendly and attentive, especially to the baby's needs. I found warmth and empathy, as well as good food and a relaxing atmosphere with lounge music in the background.

20/09/2025: The staff, though a little busy and at times clearly under pressure, remained welcoming and very friendly throughout. The aperitivo was absolutely outstanding - delicious food paired with great cocktails. The rooftop view is stunning, the crowd respectful, and the overall experience felt both stylish and luxurious. It’s the kind of place you remember and want to return to again. Loved it.

17/09/2025: While passing through Milan for a day, we wanted to try a rooftop restaurant to enjoy the view. A beautiful restaurant, with a pleasant atmosphere and views of Milan's business district. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the pool, as the venue was private during our stay. The food is very good and flavorful. The wine is a bit pricey, but very good. The only downside was the unfriendly waitress.

16/10/2025: A very pleasant dinner with friends, the dishes were delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere exceptional. The evening concluded with a stroll along the lakeside—what more could you ask for?

18/09/2025: What Paolo and Joanna created is a truly wonderful thing. The food is beyond fantastic. It‘s creative and traditional, beautifully presented and extremely delicous. We were there outside of the main season, so the vibes were very relaxed and cozy. Joanna was a wonderful host and gladly answered and entertained all of our questions. If you are in Sarnico, Dinner al numero 24 is a must.

06/10/2025: Oh my... 😏 Pizza is a mess. I was so hungry that I ate it in a hurry, so the pictures aren't that great, but I'm just going to eat it. First of all, everyone is so kind (everyone). As for the taste... it goes without saying. The pizza here is really delicious. The price isn't bad, so I'll give it 100 points. If you're having trouble deciding, I recommend going. Have a nice trip. 😙 The pizza is delicious! 05/10/2025: My partner and I went for dinner two nights, and the fact that we came back is obviously a sign that we enjoyed the first night. I loved the local offerings, fresh and delicious grilled lake fish! The handmade gnocchi melt in your mouth, I haven't had them this good in a while. The desserts and fruit were also delicious. Excellent service. The place is small, with a cozy, intimate, and familiar atmosphere, overlooking the lake, in an ancient alley where they've kept the original floors and walls (beautiful). The only thing I would say, if I could find a flaw, is that I don't like fake flowers and I find them ugly in a place, but that's just my opinion. In my opinion, if you remove them, it gains value, and the same goes for the paper placemats. Washable ones are better, and they're also more sustainable. I highly recommend it!

01/09/2025: Spending an evening at this trattoria is almost like going to a spa: Oscar will pamper you with dishes cooked by his wife and more, proudly presenting them to you: the tajarin with ragù is delicious, the roast beef is also excellent, and the Milanese version was every bit as good as the original Lombardy one. Let him recommend the wine; he knows what he's talking about and does it with uncommon enthusiasm.

30/08/2025: A lovely restaurant on the banks of the Naviglio. A welcoming and quiet atmosphere. Good service and excellent menu options. I enjoyed a delicious sirloin steak with a side of Belgian endive. The glass of wine was also good.

08/10/2025: A truly enjoyable dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. The dishes were very refined, with modern preparation. But the best part was the flavors. Each ingredient was highlighted and harmonious with the others. Well done, chef.

30/09/2025: Despite trying quite hard, this fine-dining restaurant sadly misses the mark. While the service was incredibly warm, and the dishes are presented beautifully, we encountered a few minor issues that we wouldn’t expect from a restaurant at this level: - the table was dirty, and the mark was covered up with a napkin; - they forgot to bring us enough knives with the bread and butter, then overcompensated by bringing us butter knives as well, which at this point we didn’t need; - they tried to clear our plates away while one of us was still clearly eating - the food was on the fork; - we weren’t offered to taste the wine prior to pouring. These would all be forgivable if the food were up to par, but it doesn’t really meet the standard of other restaurants in this price range. Some flavours were over-powering (saffron), the fish was overcooked, and the temperature variation in some of the dishes was a bit odd. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t meet the projected expectations. It’s style over substance, and overpriced for what it is. We had some fantastic meals on Lake Iseo, but unfortunately this wasn’t one of them.

19/10/2025: Our first day in Bergamo, we were able to have dinner without a reservation! Delicious! They were attentive to your indecision and gave you options! Definitely a place to return to. Thank you for the delicious food and the service provided.

19/10/2025: We ate inside the restaurant at the end of August. The walls certainly exude history, and the vaults are beautiful. For the first part of the evening, we were served by a very good waitress who was attentive in recommending dishes. 👏 For the end of the evening, a lady (not in uniform like the other waiters) was very rude and indifferent. The food was nothing special, and putting fancy names on the doors doesn't change the food. Pasta with pesto and two crostini is still pasta with pesto!!! The appetizer was a special mention, as it cost just €18 (4 mini octopus, a tub of tomato). I was also disappointed by the meat, as it was very tough. Honestly, if I spend €80 a head, I expect more from everything, starting with the paper placemat and paper napkin! Personally, I won't be returning and I don't recommend it.

04/10/2025: A unique and intimate setting, perfect for both couples and small groups. The menu is varied and in perfect Russian style, as is the setting, adorned with paintings characteristic of Russian culture: not only by great authors, but also by significant historical details. The menu is far beyond traditional; the kitchen is available to accommodate any special needs. The marinated salmon and herring are highly recommended, as are the skewered meat and sturgeon. The service is attentive and available, available for any need. Highly recommended!

03/10/2025: We treat ourselves to this dining experience once a year. It's not without reason, and rightly so, that Maria has held a Michelin star as a chef for many decades. Add to that the attractive interior design and exquisite tableware. The service is top-notch and completes the feel-good atmosphere. We'll see you again on your next stay in Gargnano.
