30/09/2025: Enchanting place, super welcoming and kind owners! Prices in line with the location, altitude, and management! The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy! PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!

26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.

16/02/2026: Typical cuisine, with a modern and elegant twist, generous portions, from Montisola sardines with polenta, to risotto with quail, beef in oil, cod on squid ink puree.... desserts... a delicious and enjoyable dinner. Also interesting is the occasional menu change, which unfortunately few restaurants do. Beautiful entrance (restaurant hidden in a lovely courtyard). Simple, essential room, no frills, but very interesting cuisine.

28/02/2026: We were here on a Friday evening in February. The atmosphere was quiet and very welcoming. The food was excellent. I had the cod with cavolo nero. As a vegetable lover, the cavolo nero was a real surprise! Super flavorful. We don't like large quantities, but we also hate those restaurants that serve two tortelli on a beautiful plate. Here we found the perfect balance between quality and elegance!

02/03/2026: Three of us ate here for dinner. The service was fast and excellent, and the food was excellent, traditional Milanese. Unfortunately, we were too full to try the desserts, which were definitely worth a try.

28/02/2026: For me, a pub-brewery must have a good selection of beers on tap, bottled beers, but above all people who know what they're talking about and can give you advice. Here at the birratrovo, I find all of this. They also let you taste the beers if you're not familiar with them, and you can also buy them.

20/03/2026: I went for dinner in the evening. It's an elegant, unique place, with good food and fast service. It has a distinctive glass window and fairy lights.

10/02/2026: We've dined there several times in the past few months with friends. The place is beautiful and well-maintained. The pizzas are very good. The waiters are very helpful, and, what's more, when you're there with friends, the bills are even separate. The only downside is limited parking, but if you plan ahead, it's not a problem.

13/03/2026: Small but sturdy, with two tables and two counters against the wall, this is one of the best kebab places in the city center, with more than reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

01/01/2026: We spent a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner with friends and had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the farewell. The food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. The entire staff was extremely attentive and kind. The passion for good, healthy, and tasty cuisine shone through in every single course. The ingredients were incredibly fresh. The meat and fish were excellently prepared and presented in a unique and refined way. The atmosphere was quiet and quiet, allowing us to converse peacefully and relaxed. The attention to our guests was truly outstanding, and the service was impeccable. A final word of thanks goes to the owner's great courtesy and kindness, who served us exquisite wines and treated us with immense professionalism. A well-deserved 5 stars. Congratulations!

23/12/2025: We went for a pre-Christmas family lunch, with a last-minute reservation. We had a wonderful time and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and the professionalism is evident. The Pavese soup is a must-try. One of the family members really appreciated the high-quality vegan dishes. We'll be back.

23/01/2026: Got into this place unexpectedly, so we didn't have a reservation. However the staff has found a nice place for us. The dinner was fabulous: fresh products, excellent blend of tastes. The dishes were served quickly. This restaurant is an exceptional combination of delicious food, service, fantastic venue with a lake view and overall good atmosphere. We didn't try their wine selection though, but I believe it will be worth your attention 😉
