27/02/2026: We went here for dinner. Restaurants in the area are very crowded. Here, there were still plenty of free tables. The food isn't even worth one star. The pizzas were burnt black, and the toppings, like onions with the cores and huge chunks of other ingredients, were just thrown on. The porcini mushrooms, which were spongy and mushy, gave me an upset stomach. The soup was overcooked and tasted like instant soup. Overall, the quality is abysmal. It's a shame, because the ambiance is very nice, if you disregard being seated in the very back corner, even though there was plenty of space. After the meal, the service was nowhere to be seen. We were better off having dessert elsewhere.

04/02/2026: I came here for dinner. The food was extraordinary, but what struck me most was the kindness and friendliness of the staff, especially Niccolò and Francesco, two delightful people. Thank you again, and I'll definitely be back next year!

The facility and cellars were spotless, and we received a detailed, impressive overview of the winemaking process. It’s a wonderful spot in Franciacorta — and I tasted the best sparkling wine I’ve ever had!

01/03/2026: Terrible, old and poorly maintained place, rude and rushed service from the only waitress, 25 euros for an Iberian ham that didn't look like it. Upon asking for an explanation, they showed us a tray of low-quality ham. Paella that wasn't real paella, but rice with random stuff in it. Terrible experience.

02/02/2026: Very casual atmosphere. Valencian paella was rich in chicken but lacking in seafood. The vegetarian paella had uncooked rice. The crema catalana was good. The owner was very friendly, but the waitress who served us was bordering on rude.

11/06/2025: Mejor tener reservas si quieres estar fuera. El guardia del museo nos dijo que no conseguiríamos una mesa. Me alegro de haber ido. Sentado dentro pero capaz de ver el Duomo. Excelente comida, buena camarera. Muchos turistas, pero no es sorprendente.

10/06/2025: Fuimos con mi familia (4 personas) a los 16. 00 (por lo que el lugar estaba medio vacío) y quería pedir 3 platos y 4 bebidas (3 de ellos cócteles). La respuesta del personal fue que deberíamos pedir al menos 4 para poder ser atendidos. Les dije que el lugar está vacío y las bebidas cuestan más que el plato extra que están pidiendo, pero dijeron simplemente que no, así que nos fuimos y fuimos a otro lugar. Esta es la estupidez de una política y una vergüenza de hospitalidad. . . . no vayas, no te merecen!

07/06/2025: Premetto che non è mia consuetudine scrivere recensioni né in senso positivo che negativo. Trovare insalata nel mio piatto ancora sporca di terra non è stato gradevole. A maggior motivo quando la stessa cosa è avvenuta ad un amica seduta al tavolo con me. Fatto presente il tutto al cameriere lo stesso si è ripetutamente scusato eliminando le portate dal conto. Purtroppo devo constatare che la qualità dei piatti in generale è peggiorata rispetto ad alcuni (pochi) anni fa. Rapporto qualità prezzo non adeguato. Nb. Da porre attenzione agli scontrini. In due occasioni distinte ( pranzo di Pasqua e pranzo con amici) vi erano più pietanze di quelle ordinate). LOCATION STUPENDA

01/03/2026: Good, generous portions! The fried food was nice and heavy, but that's okay. The house salad was a bit light on chicken. First courses were spectacular in terms of quality, price, and quantity. The mixed fried fish was delicious. The sea bass risotto was EXCELLENT. The lady who works there is very kind and friendly. Recommended.

12/12/2025: Very clean restaurant. The food is truly delicious, especially the pizza, which is made with fresh, top-quality ingredients. The cuisine is also impeccable. The staff is friendly, smiling, and always available. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

07/11/2025: We stopped by Nilu’s Bar in Verena on a rainy afternoon when most of our planned restaurants were either closed or fully booked — and it turned out to be a great choice! To start, we ordered drinks — I had a tropical fruit punch and my husband had martini. Both were excellent. For lunch, we tried the bruschetta with mozzarella and a prawn sandwich, which were delicious, well-prepared, and nicely presented. For dessert, we went for a Nutella dark chocolate crepe, and honestly, it was the star of the meal — absolutely delightful! The restaurant setup was cozy and inviting, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a lovely experience despite the rainy weather. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

29/10/2025: Great location. Tried it for an afternoon snack, with the sweet crepes. Plenty of choice, and the crepes were delicious and beautifully presented. Looking at the menu, it's worth noting that the cocktails are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants and bars nearby. I think it's a good place to have an aperitivo.

08/08/2025: I'm very sorry to leave this negative review, which is certainly related to the girl at the bar, because it wasn't my first time there. First of all, the bar wasn't full, but I think the bartender wasn't very keen on working. I was at a table, and she completely ignored me, serving people who had arrived after me at the counter. I had to get up, order, and serve myself. I was even polite and cleared the table. I paid, and she didn't even give me a receipt. The worst thing is that I ordered a soy cappuccino and felt bad because the lady must have used cow's milk. Well done! I hope she's just an employee.

26/02/2026: It's a very rustic, but charming restaurant. Located in the cellar, it fully embraces the wine cellar/wine storage theme. You can also buy a large number of wine bottles there, but I can't comment on that. As for the food, it was very tasty, and I believe them when they say it was homemade. The only downside is that the portion was a bit small for the price (normal for the area, but usually larger portions), and there's also a €3 table charge.

21/02/2026: I hope the chef at this beloved restaurant lives a long and healthy life. Therefore, this chef must have intentionally made the food salty for us, foreigners. Because serving insanely salty food is a given, suggesting the chef is either severely zinc deficient or has lost his sense of taste due to diabetes. If the manager sees this, I hope he recommends a health checkup or long-term treatment. I'm also concerned that the front desk staff may be under so much stress that their cortisol levels are too high. If at least two people had such a sullen expression that they left half their food behind, wouldn't it be reasonable to ask what the problem is? However, I'm more concerned that they may have neglected their customer service due to their overwork. Considering all these medical issues, I recommend closing the restaurant for about a year to recuperate. Since it's right in front of the cathedral, the atmosphere is a 4. While it's not immediately visible, dining at an outside table, thanks to the bustling streetscape, shouldn't be a bad experience.

14/02/2026: If there is 0 i will give this place a solid zero, ordered caesar salad and the chicken came RAW! As it was placed directly from the fridge to the plate, this says a lot about the food quality and the hygiene… the clams pasta came very very oily but at least it was acceptable enough to eat, the staff are rude and careless about your complaints which was the cherry on top for this absolute worst experience in my italy visit !, will never recommend this place.

07/03/2026: The place is small, consisting of only two rooms, but it's welcoming and well-decorated. It's located right next to the ski slope; we stopped here for lunch. After looking at the menu, we decided to eat outside at the outdoor kiosk. Our choice was prompted by the price of a first course (€25), which we thought was excessive. They don't offer table service at the kiosk, and the food options are limited: nuggets and three types of sandwiches. The place is very nice and quiet, well-located along the slope, but unfortunately, we thought the prices were a bit high.
