07/11/2025: We stopped by Nilu’s Bar in Verena on a rainy afternoon when most of our planned restaurants were either closed or fully booked — and it turned out to be a great choice! To start, we ordered drinks — I had a tropical fruit punch and my husband had martini. Both were excellent. For lunch, we tried the bruschetta with mozzarella and a prawn sandwich, which were delicious, well-prepared, and nicely presented. For dessert, we went for a Nutella dark chocolate crepe, and honestly, it was the star of the meal — absolutely delightful! The restaurant setup was cozy and inviting, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a lovely experience despite the rainy weather. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

29/10/2025: Great location. Tried it for an afternoon snack, with the sweet crepes. Plenty of choice, and the crepes were delicious and beautifully presented. Looking at the menu, it's worth noting that the cocktails are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants and bars nearby. I think it's a good place to have an aperitivo.

12/10/2025: Reasonable price for drinks, good icecream. Lots of flies when we were there which were a nuisance.

04/10/2025: Too bad - it's already closed! We were just there (October 4, 4 p.m.) and it looks like the season is over; the terrace has been completely dismantled... So, unfortunately, our salted pistachio won't be available until next year... =;o((

The kebab is truly delicious: well-cooked and flavorful meat, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, accompanied by fresh vegetables and tasty yet balanced sauces. The bread is light and fragrant, never rubbery or overly greasy. The options such as piadinas, sandwiches, mixed platters, or falafel for those who prefer a vegetarian option are also excellent. The portions are generous, and the price is absolutely fair for the quality and quantity offered. The variety of drinks and sides is also very good: crispy fries, spiced rice, hummus, and other specialties make the meal even more complete and satisfying. In short, a place that combines taste, courtesy, and affordability. You can sense the care taken in selecting the ingredients and preparing the dishes, and that makes all the difference. It's definitely become one of my go-to places for a properly prepared kebab. Highly recommended for both those looking for a quick bite and those who want to enjoy an excellent dish in a welcoming atmosphere.

28/10/2025: We went for my parents' wedding anniversary lunch. Everyone chose what they wanted from the menu, which was very extensive and varied. I personally chose grilled sea bass with a side of fries...but we chose a bit of everything, from the starters to the sliced ​​meat and fish. The service was excellent, the dishes were served quickly and of high quality. Everything was delicious. The cake, which had been ordered, was noteworthy. The place was quite crowded and therefore a bit loud for my taste. Fortunately, the tables were not too close to each other, but since it was Sunday, the crowd was understandable. The staff were kind and courteous. I recommend it!

09/10/2025: Be aware they take advantage of tourist here! Atmosphere is amazing, food was good, drink was fair, bill was ridiculously expensive but the real kicker was when time to go we asked them to get us a taxi and that’s when things got bad. Should be easy right, not with this place. A Maserati shows up not a taxi, thirty minutes late and they forced us to pay 160 Euros. A Uber was four minutes away and would have cost half that. We got hosed by a really fancy hotel concierge and his counterpart at the hostess stand!

15/12/2025: Awful. Expensive and the worst meal of my life. I absolutely do not recommend it. Awful. Pasta with ketchup? Seriously… And they gave us a supposed seafood dish from the lake, but it was a frozen fish head that tasted terrible. The worst in Italy.

11/08/2025: Il locale si trova in centro. Bella la parte esterna fronte retro, stupende le parti interne accoglienti, pulite e le tavole apparecchiate con gusto. Credo di aver mangiato il miglio piatto di pizzoccheri della mia vita, avrei fatto il bis. Dolci meravigliosi! Le porzioni sono buone e l impiattamento stupendo, complimenti alla cucina. Il personale cortese e molto accogliente. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Alla prossima tappa a livigno ci torneremo sicuramente.

09/08/2025: Il ristorante è sempre molto bello e accogliente, con un’atmosfera piacevole che mette a proprio agio. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, pronto a venire incontro alle richieste dei clienti. Purtroppo, però, ho notato che la qualità del cibo non è più quella di una volta, e questo ha reso l’esperienza meno soddisfacente rispetto al passato.

09/12/2025: A truly unique Irish pub. One special feature is the gothic area for private events, which can be a really fun idea. Excellent selection of beers and, of course, plenty of Guinness!
