14/09/2025: We tried to sit to have breakfast when the terrace was empty, however we were told we could not sit where we wanted and swapped to a table next to a cupboard, squeezed in a corner.No customer service at all.

09/09/2025: A charming place offering American-style breakfast and brunch, located near Porta Garibaldi, on a busy Milanese street. Prices are moderately high, but considering the area, they're perfectly in line with other places.

20/11/2025: Food and service were very good. They charge a cover charge and expect a tip.

19/11/2025: It was a terrible experience. The cleaning was awful; they refused to change the dirty cutlery for no reason. The waiters were rude. They added items to our bill that we didn't order. The restaurant is filthy, and the staff are rude and add items to the bill that you didn't order. I don't recommend visiting it.

10/12/2025: Super central and feels like home

28/09/2025: We arrived and everything was closed. There's no signpost for the entrance, and no one at reception at any time. The air conditioning doesn't provide heat; it's very cold, with no blankets or shower gel. The wood and doors squeak a lot. The TV and the bed are particularly noteworthy.

15/07/2025: Terrible people. One of them screams and has an annoying voice. I don't think they even wash their hands since I didn't see them. Avoid eating there. The ingredients are of poor and questionable quality. I bought a takeout piadina and threw it away... Answer: Just because you can't accept the truth doesn't mean you're making things up. Have a good day, frustrated people ;)

16/06/2025: It has been a shame for years and continues to be a shame, I'm sorry that it is located in a strategic point and unfortunately has customers, but then people who work there scream and smoke all day (I have my doubts that they wash their hands) since I have a friend who lives in those buildings and sees them in the courtyard. I don't know how to respond to the owner's lies so I'll extend my review: 1 I advise you to learn to read and understand the Italian language before commenting and telling lies. 2 he is the one who works for you with the duck voice who screams all day inside or outside, NO ONE has spoken of customers who disturb. 3 I took the liberty of going back these days and asking someone who was leaving number 21 and they repeated the screaming adding also that you smoke *** in their courtyard. 4 it's written "staff" not staf 5 NOBODY has ever talked about knowing your staff and I don't even care for God's sake. I hope you learn Italian and that at least you understand this.

18/11/2025: Great service, very professional. The food is excellent. I asked for recommendations and they were spot on. My first restaurant in Milan and it was a really nice place, plus they speak Spanish. I highly recommend it. The waiters are very professional. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

07/12/2025: I'm giving one star because it's not possible to give zero. There were three of us for lunch; they sat us upstairs to stay warmer at our request, but we weren't brought a menu. There was a young man serving, who seemed very annoyed. He came to ask us what we wanted, but we pointed out that there was no menu. We ordered bottles of water; I wanted sparkling water and they brought me still. When I pointed out the mistake, he snorted and replaced it with warm, room temperature water. A friend of mine ordered gnocchi, which were already served cold; he asked for parmesan, which never arrived. We ordered three coffees, and the guy, unwillingly, told us he wouldn't bring them and that we would have to go get them at the counter. We really didn't get it... Furthermore, the guy at the cashier "got" my bill; obviously I noticed and told him. It's a shame they charged me a €5 cover charge, while the others were charged €2.50. So I paid €2.50 more, and looking at the other reviews, I noticed that mine wasn't an isolated case. It's a shame I threw away the receipt; customers aren't stupid and won't be returning to your place. Plus, my friend who ate the gnocchi had stomach problems all day. Draw your own conclusions.

07/12/2025: Nice and well-kept place, with prices in line with the center of Milan, not recommended for lunch, having missed a first course and it was cold, when I asked for the parmesan the staff's face said more than a thousand words and despite this I did not have it, when I asked for coffee at the table we were asked to get it at the counter in general not satisfied, I will never return

14/08/2025: Il City Cafe si trova alla fine di via Dante. Non è molto grande ma si trova sulla strada pedonale. Questo piccolo ristorante ha prezzi accessibili e offre paninetti molto italiani! È anche possibile ordinare piatti di carne o pesce. Per dessert si può ovviamente prendere gelato o cappuccino!!

07/12/2025: 5 euro per person it's like a rubbery, like the price for everything else (5€ a cappuccino or 6€ for a croissant). Avoid it!

11/04/2025: Terrible welcome! Only one waiter is worth saving. And now that they've redone the place, they've also changed the prices. First, aperitifs cost €10 with a drink, which is enough food. Now, €13 if you're not sitting at a table and they give you a drink, two chips, two olives, and some peanuts. Obviously, I'll never go back. Very disappointed.

07/08/2025: Pranzo pre estivo dello studio, prenotato per le ore 13. chiediamo due taglieri misti formaggio e salumi, ma senza marmellata e giardiniera come indicato sul menù alla carta. Ci arrivano con marmellata e giardiniera entrambi, il cameriere sente il mio commento e viene a toglierle e ci portano a parte un piattino con due ricottine, una mozzarellina, patate lesse e cotto. Fino a qua ci siamo, anche se alcuni salumi erano troppo salati e le mozzarelline poco saporite. Ordiniamo alla carta dando anche un occhio ai piatti del giorno che ci vengono proposti. Ordine alla carta: due paccheri con crema di melanzana, datterino giallo, pane croccante e menta e tre fusilloni di gragnano IGP alla trapanese con stracciatella di burrata del loro caseificio. Arrivano tre fusilloni con sugo di carne e due paccheri al pomodoro e basilico (cioè i piatti del giorno). Lo segnalo al cameriere che si scusa e dice "c'è stato un errore in cucina". Ci presentano su un piatto i dolci del giorno dicendo che uno è finito (toglierlo dal piatto no?). Ordiniamo un tiramisù e una mousse (sottolineo "Mousse") al pistacchio. Arriva il tiramisù (giusto) e una mezza cupola di cemento verdina dove la collega tenta di infilare forzatamente con due mani, perché era durissima, la forchetta. Ci riesce, ma non esce più la forchetta. Chiamo il cameriere e chiediamo un coltello e se per caso è stata tirata fuori dal freezer perché una "mousse" (lo dice la parola) dovrebbe essere morbida, al cucchiaio. Il cameriere risponde che viene dal frigo/freezer, poi dubbioso si allontana e chiede, ritorna e dice "c'è stato un errore" viene dal freezer, ma se vogliamo la sostituiscono con una da frigo, ma ormai la mia collega ha rinunciato a mangiarla. Ci propongono i caffè ma, onde evitare altri "errori" rinunciamo. Mai più grazie.

02/08/2025: Arrivati alle 19:30 io mio marito insieme a nostro figlio di 5 mesi, andati via alle 21 senza aver cenato. Un’ora e mezza di attesa andati via senza cena mentre tutti gli altri tavoli mangiavano nonostante varie sollecitazioni . Nonostante ciò ci hanno fatto pagare le due bottiglie d’acqua e calice di vino . Molto poco consigliato solo per la correttezza dimostrata.
