08/01/2026: A positive experience. The staff was discreet and courteous, and also very patient (we went with four children!). Everything was very well-prepared, as were the dishes. The demi-sel whipped butter served with the warm focaccia was delicious, as were the scallops. The duck speck was a bit disappointing; I found it a bit too dry. What I wasn't entirely satisfied with, however, was the cheese selection. I found the selection to be rather bland (perhaps a professional quirk), but I think they could do much better. We'll definitely be back!

03/01/2026: We celebrated new year‘s eve there as a group of 4 people. We had the absolute best meal from all our trip in Rome. We have a very high standard (travel to Piedmont, Tuscany a lot) and we were amazed about the quality of food and the service. Everything was outstanding - the owner was so sweet and shared all her knowledge with us. She was also very generous with pouring wine for the wine pairing. We would totally recommend this place and come again!

02/02/2026: It's an exceptional place. The cuisine blends tradition with modernity, respecting the ingredients and presenting them with high-end flair. Everything is delicious. I highly recommend the duck. The restaurant is welcoming. The service is very professional. Even the bread selection is fantastic!

31/01/2026: Perhaps eating at Babette's is so enjoyable because every dish is the result of cultural and artistic inspiration. You feel good and eat better. A particular preference is for the cream soups and the French apple pie.

12/01/2026: We just had one of the best culinary experiences of our trip through Europe. From the moment we walked in, the friendly service, the dishes, the dessert—everything was perfect. It's not your average restaurant. You order at the counter, and they call your plate. There's not much space inside, but everything is very organized, and when we were there, no one had to wait long for a table. We ordered the carbonara and the fettuccine Bolognese; I can't decide which was more perfect! We also ordered both desserts; the chocolate cake almost made me cry, haha. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back because we loved it!

31/12/2025: The food is amazing! We ordered tuna tartare, grilled octopus, and a mixed grill that was spectacular—everything was super fresh. The waitresses are incredibly attentive and explain everything. They even have gluten-free products, which I highly recommend.

17/01/2026: A very well-kept and welcoming place. Excellent ingredients, and some dishes are definitely worth trying. The hot appetizer was very interesting. The meat was delicious and perfectly cooked. We'll definitely be back.

03/01/2026: Very noisy, terrible pizza (a capricciosa with two green olives, artichoke remains, and a smelly mozzarella), mostly rude staff. Avoid, in my opinion. Very touristy. It's a shame I didn't have the presence of mind to leave instead of eating and having a stomach ache afterwards.

29/01/2026: We chose this restaurant because of its proximity to the Colosseum and based on its Google rating, and we didn't regret it. It's a classic Italian restaurant. The tables are small and wooden, and you sit very close to each other. I can't criticize that, as almost all restaurants in the area are like that. We went around 6 PM without a reservation and had no problems. They offer pasta, meat dishes, and salads. Since we don't eat pork, we chose the Margherita pizza, tuna pizza, and cheese ravioli. All three were delicious and filling. The staff were very friendly and humorous. In August, the bill for three people was around 45 euros (we don't drink alcohol).

02/12/2025: As a Roman living abroad, when I return, I always look for places with local, honest, and traditional cuisine. This place offers friendly service, expertly prepared home cooking, and a timeless atmosphere. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks guys for making me relive my Rome. :)

Right in the historic center, close to the Tiber, tiny in size but full of soul and character. We came for lunch and ended up staying longer than planned — every dish was genuinely delicious. The Ossobuco, the Roman-style tripe and offal, the beef liver and heart stew, the lamb loin… Deep, honest flavors — the kind you can only find in a true Roman osteria. Great wine selection too: thoughtful, natural, and perfectly paired. Service was warm and attentive in that effortless Roman way — welcoming without trying too hard. A small note: on a winter day, being the first to arrive, the room felt a bit cold at the beginning. But once food and wine landed on the table, everything warmed up immediately. A tiny restaurant with big heart — great food, great wine, true Roman atmosphere. A place you remember, and a place you return to. Highly recommended. È Passata la Moretta | Osteria Romana di un Tempo is one of those small Roman restaurants where you enter and immediately understand: this is the real Rome. 15/01/2026: A cozy restaurant covered by a vine, offering creative seasonal dishes by candlelight. The dishes? A tribute to Roman cuisine. An intimate corner in the heart of Rome. The traditional first courses are excellent. The menu features well-chosen dishes, not at all touristy. Prices are a bit higher.

19/01/2026: We chose Chalet del Lago for our wedding reception, and everything was perfect. The food was one of our strong points: unique and refined dishes, meticulously crafted, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. The location is stunning both day and night, with a breathtaking view and a simple, elegant decor. The service deserves a special mention: the staff was always present but never intrusive, attentive to timing, to the guests' requests, and especially to my needs. In the days leading up to the wedding, they patiently assisted me, answering every question and constantly reassuring me. On the day of the event, I felt truly supported, never "left alone," not even for a moment. I received so many compliments from friends and family. A sincere thank you to Diego for his availability, attention, and the passion with which he looked after us. A place I will always hold in my heart.
