19/11/2025: The food is always excellent. The location is beautiful, but what strikes me every time is that rare ability to "make you feel good," to always make you feel at home.

02/01/2026: A somewhat pretentious restaurant in terms of quality/price… some things were tasty, like the eggplant meatballs and the chicken… others not so much, the gnocchi with goulash and guanciale (hard, the sauce was very paprika-heavy, and I doubt the guanciale was real)… the chicken rice was hard (although I don't know if that's how the variety they use here is supposed to be, but it wasn't to my liking). The service was rather inattentive and bland… The atmosphere is excellent, very well decorated and warm, and pets are allowed. The quality-price ratio is excessive for what it tries to be but can't deliver.
30/12/2025: We stopped for lunch today at this lovely place. We had tartare (good but spicy, with no indication of the spicy setting), fuzi (the sauce was good, but the pasta was undercooked), and burnt baked potatoes. It's a real shame, because the waitress was kind and the place was really cozy.

18/01/2026: We were a group of 8 people. We didn't have a reservation and it was a Saturday night. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they told us to come back in an hour and we got a table. The staff is very friendly, the food is fantastic!!! We had cold appetizers, i.e. prosciutto, seafood as a hot appetizer and then we went for steaks which I definitely recommend, despite the fact that they are available everywhere. They were really top notch here. All the food was excellent. The ambiance is authentic and relaxed which suited us..
15/01/2026: What can I say? A place as beautiful as the museum and as delicious as few others! An experience with frontier restaurants like this has left me with wonderful memories and pleasure for the high professionalism and quality. The polenta and mushroom appetizer and then Hungarian guliasch with half a red wine were more than enough to fill me up, but next time I'll have 750 wine to relax better. The baked cheesecake was also good, although I was hoping for an apple pie or strudel, etc. Until next time, in short. Well done. Thanks.

08/01/2026: Simply the best restaurant in Trieste, homemade, traditional food with excellent service—a real treat to have discovered.
I recommend the Parmigiana (it's not always available) and the Amatriciana.
Despite being a restaurant, it also has a selection of excellent beers, always available. A great place to have a drink and socialize.
Highly recommended.

29/11/2025: A delightful dinner at this historic trattoria in the center of Cormons. Traditional dishes with a touch of originality, along with expertly crafted innovative dishes. Everything is delicious on a menu where you're spoiled for choice. A good selection of wines, mostly local. The service is attentive and friendly, and the owner is truly skilled at his craft. A pleasant atmosphere. The bill is unsurprising.

The food wasn't bad, I would have liked to try the goulash in hindsight, but without a menu in hand you don't even have time to think about it. 😅
