Both the sandwiches and the beer selection are excellent, but the owner certainly makes the difference: he's friendly, courteous, and very professional. Overall, an impeccable experience! I'll definitely be back if I ever pass through Trieste again!

02/01/2026: A somewhat pretentious restaurant in terms of quality/price… some things were tasty, like the eggplant meatballs and the chicken… others not so much, the gnocchi with goulash and guanciale (hard, the sauce was very paprika-heavy, and I doubt the guanciale was real)… the chicken rice was hard (although I don't know if that's how the variety they use here is supposed to be, but it wasn't to my liking). The service was rather inattentive and bland… The atmosphere is excellent, very well decorated and warm, and pets are allowed. The quality-price ratio is excessive for what it tries to be but can't deliver.

05/02/2026: Absolutely wonderful. Warm, typical Trieste tavern, friendly and helpful staff, they make you feel at home. Excellent food with a wide selection, good prices, and a fantastic atmosphere. Rated 5 stars superior. For those like me who have eating and metabolic issues, they accommodate you with half portions.

31/01/2026: I'm not from Udine, and I discovered this restaurant by chance while walking. An intimate, discreet, and elegant place, with an "alternative" feel that makes it truly unique. The food is excellent, the drinks are equally good, and the service is attentive, professional, and always accompanied by a smile. A special place, one of those that stays with you.

29/11/2025: A delightful dinner at this historic trattoria in the center of Cormons. Traditional dishes with a touch of originality, along with expertly crafted innovative dishes. Everything is delicious on a menu where you're spoiled for choice. A good selection of wines, mostly local. The service is attentive and friendly, and the owner is truly skilled at his craft. A pleasant atmosphere. The bill is unsurprising.

The pumpkin cream soup was excellent, the beef tartare with butter, croutons, and paprika was extraordinary. The strudel was a dream. All at very reasonable prices. Well done!
