13/06/2026: Very typical place, very good food. The lemon mousse was incredible! The owner was really kind and helpful.

08/05/2026: The owner is extremely professional and friendly. A quiet little corner in the city center where you can relax, accompanied by good music, exquisite dishes and beers, as well as an impressive selection of whiskies.

15/06/2026: Today we had a reservation for 6 people, and you closed the restaurant without letting us know!!! If this kind of behavior seems normal to you! We obviously won't be returning because I had to rearrange a business lunch, much to the shame of the guests who weren't expecting this surprise!

10/06/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming and quaint, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is very good, offering Trieste and local specialties. The prices are reasonable considering the excellent quality and quantity. Highly recommended.

03/06/2026: A mixed experience. One waitress was very kind and professional, while another staff member spoke to us quite rudely. It was an incident that significantly affected the overall experience and, honestly, made me consider getting up and leaving. As for the food, the scallops still contained sand and would have benefited from greater care in their preparation. The baby octopus dish was also disappointing: the flavor was excessively acidic and poorly balanced. It’s a shame, because with more consistent service and greater attention to the dishes, the overall impression would have been very different. A mixed experience. 02/07/2026: yess! grilled octopus was toasted to perfection - crispy, with cream and pesto and tomato - really good. pizza delicata with cherry tomatoes, stracciatella and prosciutto was one of the best i've had, but there were some burned spots underneath that tasted bitter. otherwise, absolutely satisfying meal. a young woman served us she was very friendly :)

28/06/2026: Last night we spontaneously decided to find a good pizza place. It was very centrally located, and we had reserved in advance by calling ahead, as there was no availability on their online booking system. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The atmosphere, both inside and out, was lovely and welcoming, and the food arrived quickly. The appetizer and the pizza, which we shared because it was so large, were incredibly delicious and well-prepared. Including a bottle of water, the whole meal cost us no more than €25 – absolutely fantastic value for money!

10/05/2026: The food was absolutely fantastic and hot... just freshly cooked. The 4 star instead of 5 was because they served nothing other than beer. We usually have wine with our dinner. It was too late to go anywhere else. It was clean and the servers were friendly.

23/04/2026: The sandwiches are very good, but I'm writing this review primarily for the staff, because, having been there a few times over the course of several months, I've always found them kind and helpful. As someone in the industry and having lived in Trieste for over a decade, I can say these are qualities that are hard to find in this place. I come in for a sandwich and always leave feeling a little happier than when I went in. Thanks guys :)

16/07/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant and were truly satisfied. We ordered seafood and were impressed by the excellent quality of the ingredients: fresh fish, very well cooked, and incredibly flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable and fully in line with the quality offered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent seafood in Trieste.

13/07/2026: An excellent experience just steps from Piazza Unità. Generous dishes, good quality, and courteous service. We ordered the large hot and cold antipasto (special mention for the creamed cod) and the large Malcanton fritto misto (a very generous dish, not suitable for those with a light appetite), all washed down with a nice Prosecco (Col de Mez). Prices were reasonable and clearly displayed.

19/06/2026: A very well-located trattoria. The food is delicious. Since the menu isn't too extensive, the dishes are well-prepared. You should allow yourself some time. The service is fantastic. As the menu is only in Italian, they will provide information in English upon request. The service is friendly and helpful. It was a lovely evening.

19/06/2026: We had a great time at this place. Service was really friendly, we got a direct translation for the menu as it was only in Italian. Food was really good, we had some handmade pasta as well as the tartar as a starter. We'll gladly come back ☺️ Pictures look a bit reddish because the umbrella and the sun 😉
