17/07/2025: The owner has been making ice cream for the past 50 years. I had a cup o chocolate ice cream and fell in love. This is probably the best one I've ever had. There aren't many flavors, but they are made by the owner himself. During our visit, I've gone multiple times to this place to get myself a cup of chocolate ice cream(because it's my favourite flavour). It tasted differently each time, but every time, it was so good!!

15/06/2025: La mia non era una pinsa ...era un biscotto talmente croccante che mi faceva male la mandibola! E poi...locale pieno e una sola ragazza a lavorare!?!? Dai...faceva su e giù ..poverina! In compenso è stata gentilissima e ci ha chiesto scusa diverse volte per l'attesa... Non ci tornerei

25/04/2025: On our way back from a trip to Puglia, we decided to stop at this restaurant instead of the usual sandwich at the service station. Located in an industrial area, the place is frequented by workers. The owner is welcoming, but the atmosphere is a bit less so given its simplicity. The main course was good, with vegetables that I would have preferred warm. So far, so good; the problem lies in the lack of a menu and the owner's subjective interpretation of how she charged for meals. For this reason, I'm listing in this review the prices we were given, which absolutely don't justify what we were served. The first course, for example, was homemade "strozzapreti" pasta with traces of a sour sauce and rare pieces of ragù for €10 (in Polignano al Mare, right in the center, we paid €8 for a first course and it was superior). The second course was €13. All in all, it might be worth the price, but I doubt working-class customers can afford to pay that kind of money for their lunch break! A first course, two second courses, two glasses of wine, a Fanta, a bottle of water, and two coffees for a total of €53...an absolutely disproportionate amount for the location, the setting, and the food offered. Sometimes, being fair and giving your customers the menu prevents inequality among them and the risk of unpleasant reviews like this. Not recommended.

03/05/2025: Abbiamo aspettato davanti al ristorante perché su internet c'era scritto apertura ore 12,30 verso le 13 Abbiamo chiamato in quanto era ancora chiuso al telefono hanno chiesto, prima di dirci se erano aperti, quante persone eravamo...essendo in 2 era chiuso. Forse era meglio dire apriamo solo su prenotazione e con tot numero di persone

05/06/2026: Right in the city center. Historic venue. Managed with warmth and friendliness. The decor is a throwback to the splendid '70s. Billiards is available. The place is populated by many lovely, sincere, and genuine people. Mr. Peppino is an institution, and I consider him a Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt.

05/07/2025: I attended an event organized by the owner, focusing on the medicinal lavender plant and its uses. Everything was prepared and cared for down to the smallest detail. Expertise and kindness were evident. We stopped for dinner in a family-friendly atmosphere, but with excellent food. The service was prompt and punctual!
