30/07/2025: Recovered an order with Too Good To Go. The food was plentiful, the atmosphere clean, and the service friendly! Recommended!

03/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience in every way. Plain croissants cost €1.80, table service costs extra: truly out of line prices, especially for Rocca di Mezzo. Any other bar offers the same quality at half the price. The place seems to thrive on its former glory, but the quality and customer service are noticeably declining. A real shame, because with a little more attention and more honest prices, it could be a benchmark.

30/08/2025: This gelateria was our home for the entire week we stayed in Rocca di Mezzo. The gelato is very good and very reasonably priced. €2.50 for a cone with two flavors and whipped cream. I recommend it!

07/08/2025: The ice cream was very good, but it was a shame the owner was so rude, as is common in many Vasto businesses, unfortunately.

Naturalmente , sapendo com’è il trend estivo di questa ricercata Location posta quasi sulla battigia del mare , noi ci siamo andati ( dopo aver opportunamente prenotato ) in un giorno feriale / infrasettimanale , così da non trovare molti ospiti seduti ai tavoli e quindi atmosfera un po’ più tranquilla e soprattutto la 👩‍🍳 CUCiNA 👨‍🍳 ed il 👩🏼‍💼SERVIZIO 👩🏼‍💼 decisamente meno ……… stressati ( “ Capito mi hai ?? “ ) !! E così , con queste premesse , sian tornati con amici del Nord - Est a Pranzo da WALTER e lui ( con il suo Staff ) non ci ha delusi …. Non c’è stata titubanza nello scegliere i Piatti 🍝 🍤 perché ormai ne abbiamo piena conoscenza sia sui contenuti delle materie prime impiegate ( PESCE 🐟 in primis ) che la loro confezione / preparazione ; vi accenno quindi del vino 🥂 scelto e servito a tavola : la PASSERINA delle Tenute Ulisse ( Crecchio di Chieti ) ! Un bianco 🥂 IGP decisamente amabile e performante quando lo si gusta fresco al punto giusto ….. e noi lo abbiamo fatto !!! Per il resto che dire : una Location conosciuta per i suoi arredi da esterno 🪑 - l’ubicazione orografica 👁️‍🗨️ ed il verde 🌳🌵 che l’addobba ….. ci ha dato la possibilità di “ andare sul sicuro “ nello sceglierla e quindi di offrire una bella cornice per un convivio di Mezzodì 🕛 a persone del Nord - Est che non sapevano di ….. 17/06/2025: I play scratch and win, but I played 400 euros at the maximilliardario. I lost 300 euros. The thing is that almost all the tickets were losers because they had seven different packages mixed up. It makes me think that something is wrong. I was there on 06/15/2025.

13/07/2025: Never again. Pizza Diavola, thin as a sheet of paper, without a crust and with three slices of salami on top. 1000 times better than the frozen ones from discount stores.

05/08/2025: If there was a chance, I'd give it 0 stars. Three of us ordered a platter (mini, enough for one person), 10 arrosticini, and 3 soft drinks, and when it came to the bill, they charged us €66 in total. Shameful. Besides the extremely high prices, we were also told the platter was made with local products, but anyone would have guessed they were supermarket produce.

26/08/2025: Elsa Bistrot, a place with tables and chairs on the beach, very basic but different from the others. I must say I had a great time. We tasted delicious focaccias in various flavors, generous amounts of ingredients, and various appetizers, accompanied by a good pitcher of beer—actually, two, since it was so cozy. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly. I forgot, we didn't pay service, whereas other places in the same location do. I don't remember the name of the bartender, who also offered us a selection of liqueurs... thank you. What can I say? I'll gladly return with friends.

26/08/2025: I had dinner with my family this evening for pizza, and I have to say that in 50 years, I've never had such a bad meal. We had supplì as an appetizer, which looked good because they had a crispy panther filling, but unfortunately the rice inside was completely overcooked and lacked tomato. We ordered four pizzas at 8:30 PM, and they arrived at 10:05 PM. I think it's absurd to wait so long considering the place was half empty. Leaving this aside, we were hoping for at least a good pizza, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case: the pizzas tasted like cardboard and had very little topping, which made them even drier and more dry: believe me, it was INEDIBLE!!! All this was accompanied by a total lack of courtesy from the lady at the cash register who took our order. The young man who served us, however, was very kind. It was a terrible experience. An evening to forget, and I would never recommend this pizzeria to anyone.

26/08/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this pizzeria was very disappointing. The place wasn't very clean, and the tables seemed sloppy. The service was slow and inattentive: we waited almost half an hour just for drinks and an hour and a half for three pizzas. The supplì looked well-breaded, but they were inedible with overcooked rice and no toppings. The pizza, which should be the highlight, arrived lukewarm and with a dough that tasted like shoe soles. The ingredients didn't seem fresh, and the toppings were sparse for the price. The cashier was rude and rude. Overall, the value for money was truly disappointing. I don't think I'll return, and I don't recommend it.

07/09/2025: Good ice cream, but rude and suspicious staff. Dealing with customers is certainly not easy, but you know before you take on certain jobs that if you're not suited to them, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

20/07/2025: Speaking of ice cream I can only say good things. But Italy was famous for quality and quantity... this place seems scared to serve enough amount of ice cream in the cups or cones. What a shame...

26/10/2025: The food wasn't hot, except for the MC wrap and nuggets. When we pointed this out, they kindly replied that the timer was correct and that if we asked for the same menu again, it would still arrive at the same temperature (cold).

18/10/2025: We went to this restaurant and among the various items we ordered was a "gluten-free" sandwich for four euros. The sandwich, which arrived in a bag, was tasted by my wife, who, after a few bites, noticed that the contents were cold. When we reported this anomaly, we were rudely reprimanded by the employee named Debora, who said we shouldn't go beyond the first taste. As a result, the sandwich was taken away and not replaced.
