Ristorante Il Vescovado In Noli

Restaurant inside the 1400s bishop's palace with an elegant room overlooking the gulf of Noli. Very qualified and very kind staff. Excellent, quality food and many times it is not a given in starred restaurants. The price of the experience is worth it.

We experienced a culinary journey through Liguria. Good wine list, very nice and competent service. Absolutely recommended!

Crazy location, accessible by lift and cableway from the Noli seafront rather than from the mule track that goes up to the castle. The ancient Bishop's palace defines itself: spectacular views of the gulf and Capo Noli, a residence of great charm. The service is impeccable, the food unfortunately does not live up to expectations, nor the price: we expected something more. Some combinations are imaginative but the result is unbalanced like spaghetti with bottarga, herb pesto and mandarin, the citrus flavor prevails over everything else. The lemon sorbet is superb.

Visited the restaurant in the evening which is probably not ideal as one of the main selling points is the location and beautiful sea view. So if you really want to go you should book lunch preferably outdoors. The restaurant in the evening was almost empty and for me it is clear they should offer a more reasonably priced and less pretentious evening menu to attract more customers. The food was overall ok but not memorable considering it’s a one Michelin star and high price also vis a vis peers. I appreciated the attempt to provide an innovative take on Ligurian cuisine, however not all dishes worked except the coniglio and fish main course. The rest was unremarkable especially if you consider you are paying eur 180 per person excluding wine. The overall impression is that this restaurant should try and be a bit less indulgent and less formal chasing the Michelin status, making it more affordable and more relaxed dining experience without feeling ripped off given the hefty price. Why should I want to come back?

Tre stelle per la vista. Il cibo lascia molto a desiderare.

Ristorante impeccabile, posizione perfetta, con la terrazza vista mare, servizio ottimo e piatti innovativi e freschi. Molto apprezzati lo spaghetto con crudo di gamberi e i giochi di cibo.

L'eccellenza in tutto dalla sede,al servizio,alla cucina prelibata con gusti unici che ricordano il sapore del mare e delle piante aromatiche della Liguria. Il prezzo,elevato, è comunque adeguato al percorso enogastronomico. Da provare ad ogni costo

Ottima vista, davvero il top! Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più dalla cucina… tutto molto anonimo e nulla di entusiasmante che valga il prezzo.

Posto e vista magnifica personale squisito mettete mano al portafoglio che ne vale la pena
