23/03/2026: We went to Avigliano to eat cod at Osteria Gagliardi. It was truly delicious. The dishes, from appetizers to first and second courses, paired beautifully and delicately with this fish. Excellent value for money. The place is small, but very elegant and not crowded. The service was impeccable, fast, and attentive. It's best to book well in advance because it's very popular. We were coming from Bari, so we drove a bit, but it was worth it.

Crusco peppers add a crispy, intense note that makes each dish a unique experience. A welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and impeccable quality. 27/01/2026: Lunch for two on a typical Friday, so not many other customers. First time here, recommended by a friend. Excellent food, all locally sourced, so great quality and generous portions. The owner was very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely, with a roaring fireplace. A truly excellent lunch. The price was €35 per person for the full menu, which was reasonable for what we ate. It's definitely much busier on weekends. San Costantino Albanese is a little gem in Basilicata. I highly recommend visiting and having lunch here.

14/03/2026: Nothing exciting...the price is a bit high for the quantity and especially the quality. There's potential, but it gets lost in the simplicity of things. You could do so much better...thanks, never again.

07/04/2026: This restaurant is very close to Lagopesole Castle. I spent Easter Monday there with a set menu. The food was excellent, the setting simple, but the staff really made the difference: helpful, friendly, and extremely kind. They were accommodating regarding food, allergies, and arrival times, as we as a group had to wait well past the permitted time. Excellent experience.

03/04/2026: A group of teachers from Campania, Puglia, and Calabria, here in Puténz for the certification program, entrusted ourselves completely to the expert hands of the very friendly Mr. Mimmo and his delightful staff! Along with his adorable grandchildren, they provided the backdrop and backdrop to a delightful evening that truly felt like home! The recommended traditional dishes (pictured) were delicious. We'll definitely be back during our journey. "Keep your head down and pedal," as the popular saying goes, but in the case of Mr. Mimmo and his staff, it should be changed to "Keep your head up and pedal!"

01/03/2026: I did a month traveling around Italy recently and eat in some wonderful restaurants from the North to South and East to West. This was up there with the best, fabulous food and a lovely atmosphere. Unique favours and a one I'll never forget.

13/01/2026: I went there alone for a business dinner. Overall, everything was good. Friendliness was paramount. I had a mixed roast with salad; I expected different dishes, but overall, it was good.

13/01/2026: An absolute guarantee for divinely good food in the Potenza area. Fair prices for the quality ingredients carefully prepared in the kitchen. A concise menu that allows for a wide range of options, from meat to fish, including local and international cheeses. Among the appetizers, the egg with bacon and truffle deserves a special mention and stimulates the hypothalamus beyond belief. Hats off! The wine list is excellent. Chef Misuriello is like a fine wine, he only gets better with age... ad maiora!
