08/04/2026: The place is very aesthetically pleasing, with warm colors, soft lighting, and that welcoming atmosphere typical of a true pub that immediately puts you at ease. During the evening, we had beers, the fresh potatoes with cheddar and bacon were truly delicious, and two pizzas: one with prosciutto, parmesan, cherry tomatoes, and arugula, and the other with pumpkin and pancetta/guanciale. I must say, both were truly excellent, especially the dough: very soft, light, and very pleasant to eat. The staff was generally helpful, and the value for money was absolutely excellent. We had a great time and will definitely return, perhaps to try the sandwiches, which look very inviting. The only small point concerns the website/online menu: it would be nice if it were better curated, perhaps with photos of the dishes and more precise/complete descriptions, because sometimes a pizza had one name on the website and then had a different one once it was served at the table. It's nothing serious, but it would improve the overall experience even more. Overall, a very positive experience and a recommended place.

30/03/2026: There were four of us adults, and we ate well. The food was well-prepared, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the fried Taleggio cheese was excellent. The double malt red beer was perfect.

31/03/2026: I decided to celebrate my 50th birthday. They paid attention to every detail from the decorations to the menu and met everyone's needs. The food was excellent. The appetizers were innovative and new. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a clean, beautiful, friendly environment with excellent food and service, a tremendous wine list and the feeling of being at home. The prices are extremely reasonable and worth every single cent.

You'll appreciate the chef's rare ability to showcase local culinary traditions with just the right amount of creativity. The service is very efficient, and you'll always appreciate the scenery, the welcoming atmosphere, and the chef's exceptional hospitality. Excellent value.

22/01/2026: Our visit to Osteria San Francesco on June 8th, 2025, was a wonderful experience. Francesco welcomed us warmly and offered us seats on the terrace. I had the impression he was a little surprised that we wanted to eat there with 10 people. He immediately called his brother Massimo, who prepared the kitchen. Several other helpers also arrived to assist Massimo with the cooking. The Osteria is somewhat hidden away on a small, steeply rising road. The dining rooms aren't very large, but there's also a grotto, a room carved directly into the mountainside. Francesco and Massimo are very friendly and they made our evening truly enjoyable. The food, prepared by Massimo, was excellent. It's safe to say that the Osteria team knows how to cook. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

04/04/2026: A unique, unusual menu. Everything was good; you could sense the quality of the ingredients. I especially enjoyed the ramen (Japanese-style with local influences). Good wines in the cellar.

24/03/2026: For the amount I spent, we would have eaten divinely instead of settling for bland dishes like tagliatelle al burro, the same as the one I make at home when I'm in a hurry but paid the same as a lavishly prepared fish first course, or a glass of wine that had been open for days and no longer has its full flavor, but paid double the price, and the same goes for everything else, including dessert. People go to restaurants to taste dishes that delight the palate, and this is certainly not the right place if not for the price, which is certainly comparable to starred restaurants... I'm starting to wonder if we probably paid for exclusivity since the place was all ours, or perhaps it was empty precisely because of the above???!!!!

10/03/2026: I was there on March 6, 2026. Absolute excellence: extremely clean, quiet, excellent scenery, very kind staff and a divine breakfast with products all homemade by the owners, from the pandolce with candied fruit, to the croissants, to the tarts, to the honey, walnuts, garlic, all cooked to perfection!

03/03/2026: If you're looking for a family-friendly accommodation, you've come to the right place! Roberto, a fantastic person, made us feel at home! The breakfast was 5-star, with sweet and savory items prepared fresh every morning by his partner. The property is centrally located, nestled in the Pollino National Park, a 5-minute walk from the center of Laino, a very beautiful village that I recommend visiting, and a 15-20 minute drive from other villages. We'll see you again in the spring!

15/04/2026: The wellness program is very well organized. The value for money is excellent. The changing room is equipped with lockers with a code of your choice. Robe, slippers, and the necessary plastic caps for accessing the pools are provided. The program was relaxing, we'll be back soon.

18/02/2026: We stayed at this beautiful property, where we were greeted by all the staff with courtesy, kindness, and professionalism. The room was immaculately clean, and breakfast was served beautifully and with top-quality products. Thanks to Alessia, from the relaxation area (pool and spa), who pampered us throughout our wellness program. Congratulations to all of you from the Serra di Palagiano family.
