08/09/2025: Do you like the idea of ​​a place that's not touristy, with good but attentive service and a friendly atmosphere. And above all, superb seafood? Well, this little place is just what you need. It's a place that gets known by word of mouth, frequented by locals. I've been waiting for two years, but in the end, it was worth the wait. Try it and then tell me if it was a good recommendation.

06/09/2025: Exceptional cuisine. Top-quality fish. The atmosphere is simple, but who cares if you eat well? The service in the pans is spectacular. The staff is very young, all friendly and attentive to the customers. We will definitely be back. Those who say the owner is unfriendly are simply not familiar with true Ligurian hospitality. That's not the case at all; in fact, even though the entire menu was listed on the blackboard, he personally took care of listing the dishes for us, giving us a brief description of each. We'll see you again very soon!!

09/09/2025: On our summer holiday travels from the cote d’azur to Lake Como, we wanted to stop for a nice lunch close to the sea. Our meals exceeded that wish. The owner is quite funny and was so patient with my rusty Italian, even though he spoke perfect English. We had fritto misto, which was lightly fried and perfectly salted. We then had three pastas (spaghetti di mare, ink pasta with langoustine, and gamberi with zucchini)and an order of mussels. Every bite was just what we wanted. Our server was so polite and helpful, too. I only wish we were staying in the area so I could have had a rose wine with the meal. I hope our travels bring us back someday!

07/09/2025: A shameful and indecent situation. Following a storm on the beach (which brought a fair amount of logs and trash), the beach club decided to collect everything that had washed up on their section of the beach and empty it with a wheelbarrow onto the adjacent public beach. Once we tried to protest (not in a polite way, it must be said), we were severely verbally attacked by a certain Andrea, who works for the beach club, who continued to insult us throughout the day we spent on the beach, even from a distance. The public property agency will take it away! Inform yourself before you speak, be respectful of the people who work there, and keep quiet. These are the words used; I'll leave aside the (mutual) insults. Given that we don't know when the public property agency will actually remove this waste, it doesn't seem normal to me that it is being dumped directly onto the adjacent public beach. Furthermore, as you can see from the photos, it wasn't even taken to the top, but left directly near the shoreline. At the next storm, if the public property agency doesn't pick it up first, this waste will be scattered all over the beach again! I find this unfortunate and shameful. Just because we're on a public beach doesn't mean we're second-class citizens and can therefore dump all our rubbish—and, I repeat, right next to the shoreline. Despite the disagreement and argument, they continued to take their rubbish to the public beach when it could have been easily piled up anywhere else, or at least decently at the edge of the beach.

18/10/2025: Excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Definitely try the farinata!

22/10/2025: The Rikaroka hotel is much more than you expect: it is NOT the usual B&B where the rooms are the recovery of old furniture, the lights don't work, the bathroom is small and the sheets are those recovered from home...NOT HERE, EVERYTHING IS MODERN, SPACIOUS EVEN BEYOND THE NECESSARY, HOME AUTOMATION IS EVERYWHERE AND YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE IN A ROMANTIC 4* HOTEL. The Rikaroka is Antonio!!, excellent at welcoming and incredibly friendly. Together with his wife (tireless) and children, he manages to provide excellent service even in the restaurant on the ground floor: very good dishes, excellent pizza, and very fast but attentive service. It also has several garages to leave the cars, all within 40/50 meters of each other. We were his guests in June, and I apologize for not having reviewed it before. We will definitely return, having relatives in Albenga, as it has now become our reference hotel.

04/10/2025: The chef picks his nose while working the counter, not to mention his shoes have been dirty for months. Some corners of the place are dusty (for example, the counter supporting the chef statue). The floor is clean only in a few places. They keep cleaning products on the counter, stuck to the food, or where the coffee is made, an excellent place to avoid cross-contamination. Two waiters are awake, the others are not. It's always chaotic. A chaotic place that has a new style mixed with the old trattoria. It's a bit expensive, the dishes are generous. The gentleman who I assume is the owner is always shouting.

10/11/2025: A restaurant with a splendid view of the Bay of Alassio, nestled in a peaceful and refined setting. The food is excellent, especially the seafood dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. Prices are slightly above average, but fully justified by the quality and beauty of the location. An experience not to be missed!

30/10/2025: Lots of claims but little substance

28/10/2025: On the recommendation of the manager of the Aloha RV park, we discovered this place. Luckily, we booked, otherwise we wouldn't have found a spot. There's definitely a reason why this place is so popular. And we've certainly found the food excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return. Kudos to the owner and staff.

20/10/2025: Everything was excellent, from the pizza with the roof to the (amazing) desserts!!! Excellent service, fast and friendly despite a crowded Saturday night. Welcoming place. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: Superb sushi in Savona. I eat here a couple of times a year, and I'm always guaranteed quality and service. The menu offers a wide selection. Everything is excellent, including the wines and desserts.

01/09/2025: Great food. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately not very cheap. But top-notch quality.

14/10/2025: A simple pizzeria, as you'd imagine in Italy. There's an order and pick-up counter, and the tables are set up under umbrellas in front of the building. The menu is displayed on the tables, and you order at the counter. The food is incredibly delicious and even reasonably priced. You simply have to try it. Since it's a self-service option, the service rating is difficult to assess. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is top-notch!

12/10/2025: We were here in September 2025; the weather was nice, and being outside was a pleasure. We ate Fugassin and two pizzas. The place is very popular, especially with locals. There's no indoor seating, and the tables are set out on the square in front of the place. Drinks can be taken directly from the fridge. You're served upon request when the food is ready. The Fugassin was good, and the pizzas were average. When a Fugassin fell onto the display between the people and the fryer, and the display wasn't exactly clean (you put your hands and money on it, etc.), the waiter promptly replaced it for us, even putting the dropped Fugassin back among the freshly made ones :D During the night, I woke up and had to get out of bed to get a drink. Perhaps the dough hadn't risen properly (or was too salty, they tell me, but I don't remember noticing that it was too salty).

08/10/2025: It's easy and obvious to give top marks for everything. I entered the restaurant with very high expectations, given the restaurant's reputation. The surprise is that my expectations were completely underestimated. A unique journey into a world of sensations, accompanied by the kindness and professionalism of all the staff. Thank you so much!!!

06/10/2025: I could write a lot about the restaurants, the rooms, the grounds of this amazing place, it can be summed up in two words, a .ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT Above the wonderful restaurants, from the breakfast room to the DAV restaurant and the jewel in the crown of the DA VITTORIO restaurant. The beauty of the complex, the rooms. Above all of this stands and radiates the warm and wonderful attitude of the CEREA family to the attention to the smallest details led by the mother of the family, Mrs. Bruna Cerea, through the chefs Enrico and Roberto who are her sons, and the rest of the family team and all the employees without exception who truly and innocently give you a feeling of warm family hospitality. They are the ones who make us without a doubt return here in the future

16/10/2025: We went to Vittorio's on October 5th to celebrate my partner's birthday, and the experience was simply perfect. The quality and uniqueness of the dishes offered in the two tasting menus won us over, and even for a foodie like me, who's always worried about not being satisfied, I can say that you leave with a truly full stomach. Much credit goes to Sara, the woman who looked after us throughout the evening: attentive, kind, and always smiling. The location is splendid, and the open kitchen adds a touch of class that makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a truly high-end culinary journey.

16/10/2025: Given that I've frequented this place, as well as DAV in Milan, many times, this isn't relevant. I just wanted to point out that after politely asking to move a reservation from November 16th to November 30th, I received an embarrassing response from a certain Mrs. Laura. I think she would benefit from some etiquette lessons, given her position. Francesco Tosello
