17/09/2025: I'd been to this restaurant before over 30 years ago... I wonder why I let so much time pass before this new visit... ugh. Anyway, we had a great time. I chose the seafood menu, but next time (hopefully before 30 years) I absolutely want to try the meat menu. The service, ambiance, and above all, the dishes were top-notch. This time, it was also a little surprise since we're celebrating an anniversary. Well done, recommended.

Every bite was an explosion of flavors that made me fall in love with the cuisine. It's not just food, it's a unique sensory experience! The impeccable service and welcoming atmosphere completed a perfect lunch.

15/07/2025: Roberto è una di quelle persone che vorresti sempre incontrare nella tua vita, per farci due chiacchiere per ascoltarlo e per farti consigliare. Abbiamo bevuto alla grande e mangiato in maniera perfetta. Il riso alle ortiche era delizioso, perfetto, i formaggi stupendi e il dolce con il passito un abbinamento perfetto. Abbiamo gradito tutto eravamo lì per passare una serata e onestamente non volevamo andare via. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. Grazie di cuore ti auguriamo il meglio. ( Gli amici dello sposo)

05/10/2025: We came to Ponte S. Pietro to dine here, and it was worth every penny, every second we spent. Locally sourced ingredients were cooked to perfection. Every taste was delicate and simply fun to eat. We specifically loved the lobster (amazing flavor, a perfect match with the tomato reduction and sun-dried tomato) and deer carpaccio (with beautifully cooked turnip, apple mousse, and black truffle). All the staff, including Maurizio, were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. All the wines he suggested were spot-on. I would love to come back again for the fish menu. It was a wonderful place, full of dining pleasure, and worth the trip. I'd love to come again.

17/10/2025: In the heart of Bergamo, I discovered a place that quickly became one of my favorites! As soon as you enter, you feel like you've been transported to an authentic American bar: meticulously crafted furnishings, a large bar, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The highlight, however, is undoubtedly the cocktails—arguably the best in all of Bergamo. Each drink is crafted with mastery, balance, and a touch of creativity that truly makes the difference. The best part is that you can watch the bartenders at work, behind the bar, mixing with precision and passion. The cuisine also deserves a special mention: tasty dishes, beautifully presented, and perfect pairings with cocktails. You can sense the care taken in selecting the ingredients and combining the flavors. An ideal place for both an evening with friends and a more intimate drink. Highly recommended! 🍸✨

03/11/2025: I go there several times a year and always find a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The food is always delicious—the chestnut tagliatelle and casoncelli are a must-try. The wait staff is always smiling, and the owners are very knowledgeable and kind. I also love the decor, which exudes a sense of conviviality.

31/10/2025: Wonderful villa where we attended a wonderful wedding!

25/10/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Villa Canton about a month ago. Since it also serves as a town hall, we chose to hold the civil ceremony there, organized with the help of the wedding planner recommended by the property. The villa is splendid, meticulously maintained, and has a truly magical atmosphere. The property was professional and available throughout the planning process. However, a few aspects left us a little perplexed, which is why our rating isn't fully 5 stars: 1- Seating during the ceremony: Out of approximately 100 guests, we were guaranteed 70 seats, but the photos show there were just over 40. Several guests—including elderly ones—were left standing, which created some discomfort and a sense of a "loss of style" during such an important moment. 2- Fans during the aperitif: During the aperitif, some guests felt hot, and the management independently turned on fans with water mist, informing us only after the event. In the end, we were charged an extra €300 for a service activated for one hour that we had neither requested nor approved. In this context, we would have expected the decision to be up to the couple. 3- Second course: some guests reported that the meat was tough and sinewy. We were unpleasantly shocked to learn that the management attributed this to our choice not to include sauces, which was not true: we had simply requested a gluten-free sauce to include all guests, given the bride's celiac disease. From a venue of this caliber, one would expect greater attention and an appropriate solution for specific dietary needs. Aside from these critical issues, we recognize that the overall organization and management of the day were excellent, and we would like to especially thank Andrea, the restaurant manager, who proved to be discreet, courteous, and always attentive. His professionalism is one of Villa Canton's true strengths. In short, a lovely place and an overall positive experience, with a few aspects that could be improved to make everything truly perfect.
