It's unacceptable that they impose two shifts (one at 7:30 PM and the other at 9:15 PM).
This is not a cafeteria!!!!

28/08/2025: A true tavern from another era. Excellent beers, both local and international, as is the cuisine, featuring local and international dishes. Fast and friendly service. Obviously, my rating is based on the type of establishment, which isn't comparable to other so-called classic restaurants/trattorias.

A place with medieval overtones, dedicated especially to metal music lovers. It has a wide selection of beers, all exceptional. Not to mention the excellent food. I personally love the pesto-filled sgabei and the charcuterie and cheese platter. So good! The dishes are always plentiful and tasty! The people who work there are very kind and friendly. I recommend it to anyone looking for a night out with friends and to tourists who want to experience a different kind of place than the city has to offer. Keep up the good work 🫶🏻🤘🏻

The dishes are generous, original, and delicious.
The staff is very friendly and the setting is very pleasant.

The chef has a magic touch for every dish that is nothing short of exquisite.
The girl in the dining room is super kind, cute and attentive to every need of the customer.

05/09/2025: Amazing breakfast sandwiches and coffee! Lots of cool wines and food for sale also! Came back twice during my stay!
04/09/2025: We came as a family without a reservation and were immediately found a table. I recommend and approve of everything from appetizers to main courses. A beautiful menu available in several languages, friendly and responsive service. My suggestion: the focaccia with porcini mushrooms and truffles 🫰

24/08/2025: Very welcoming place with a large collection of cans that makes the place unique. We ate the fish, really delicious. The quality/price ratio is really excellent.
21/08/2025: Quiet and welcoming place. The food is very good. I recommend booking because it's always very popular. I'm correcting my review; unfortunately, even if you book, you risk finding it closed without being notified. We were with friends, and the situation was embarrassing, especially since the other restaurants in the area were all full. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.

14/08/2025: An amazing vacation; calling it a hotel is an understatement given the many activities available thanks to the concierge's invaluable advice.
We tried the sunset boat excursion with aperitif and an exclusive boat tour of the Cinque Terre. Needless to say, the location is fantastic for visiting the center and the famous church of San Pietro. Close to excellent restaurants, including the Grand Hotel's own: the Palmaria restaurant. The friendly, helpful staff helped make those days and our stay at the Grand Hotel itself a special memory...thanks again!
07/08/2025: Wonderful staff, very helpful with recommendations for activities as well as booking what you might need.
Rooms were very clean, views were amazing and the breakfast may be the best I've ever had at any resort including some 5 star hotels in New York.
My wife and I weren't sure we'd realize the value we paid initially, but after leaving I would say it's a great deal given what the hotel provides from a service and location standpoint.
We will be returning next year.

Friendly service.
The only drawback is that it's too hot inside, at least in summer, which prevents you from fully enjoying the excellent products.
16/08/2025: Too slow for two... an hour and a half is really exaggerated... the place wasn't even very full... I'm sorry because the ingredients were of good quality... but the pizza was also burnt and full of holes

07/09/2025: Let's start with the welcome: a waitress threw the menus on the table without a hello, without a glance... we almost left, we should have.
They don't cook here. Or the chef is terrible!
The carbonara pasta seemed reheated.
A four-season pizza spread with a cheap industrial tomato sauce, canned mushrooms and artichoke pieces, and (oh surprise!) sausages!
It was the first time I'd had so many leftovers...
