Sushi Beach In Savona

The place is very nice, the service is fast and friendly, the dishes are well presented and the fish is very good, the only discordant note in this whole context in my opinion is that the dishes are brought almost all together "big chain" style, this diminishes the importance of the content on the plate, endless wine list with excellent labels.

The photo on the flyer on Google Maps was clearly different from what was served. For the same price, it seems dishonest to serve something so different from the photo. The beef appetizer was neither good nor bad. However, after a long wait, the flyer only consisted of salmon and avocado. This was clearly insufficient for a price range of €80-90. Furthermore, there was no apology for dishes that we didn't order. However, they were very proactive about our reorders. Their priorities were clearly evident. The quality of the food itself was just "not bad," and I didn't sense any special technique or high-quality ingredients. If you're expecting a sushi experience worth the price, there's honestly a discrepancy. We visited as a group of four, and with a bottle of white wine, the price was €80-€90 per person. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, especially for those familiar with sushi in Asia or who have a certain standard. I'm sure there are more satisfying options for the same budget.

Even though the Hotel Mare doesn't look particularly special from the outside, the sushi restaurant located in the basement is beautiful and truly impressed us with the quality of the food. The service was also excellent. The good selection of wines, featuring some truly outstanding wines, was impressive. While it might sometimes seem unusual to want to eat sushi on a trip to Italy, here it was absolutely worth it.

This is the fourth time we've been to this hotel, and for the first time, we really wanted to try their sushi restaurant for a change. It was a wonderful surprise because everything was excellent... the place was beautiful, the staff were very kind, and above all, all the products were high-quality... our compliments.
