18/07/2025: In a quiet little town, nestled on a street you might miss if you weren’t looking for it, sits a restaurant that feels more like a memory than a place. Years ago, my Nonno used to come here — he spoke of it often, with a kind of nostalgic warmth that made us curious. So, our family — all 13 of us — decided to follow in his footsteps and pay it a visit. What we found was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted not as customers, but as family. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles, and Santino, the owner, ensures every detail is perfect— from the way the tables were set to how they managed to keep everything flowing so effortlessly for such a large group — was handled with thought and grace. The food? It was like stepping back into your Nonna's kitchen. Hearty, comforting, and made with love. These are the kinds of meals you don’t just eat — you remember. Every bite was familiar and deeply satisfying, the kind of food that wraps around you like a warm hug. And somehow, despite the quality and care, the prices were incredibly affordable — another testament to the heart behind the place. Dining here isn’t just about the food. It’s about tradition, connection, and something deeply rooted in the past that’s still alive today. It felt like a tribute to our Nonno — and by the end of the night, we understood exactly why he loved it so much. If you ever find yourself in Torrice, don’t pass it by. This restaurant is a rare kind of gem — the kind that stays with you long after the meal is done.

18/07/2025: I stayed at Rubino for a wedding; it was a superb experience! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, the food was amazing, and the setting was incredible!

13/07/2025: We had a lovely family meal Our hosts franca and carmine of Villa Felice recommend the restaurant to us.

10/06/2025: We thought the place was rather quiet for a Saturday night as we were the only ones at first. A few more people arrived later on. We learnt later there had been a major football match that evening with the Napoli team playing. We weren't handed menus. We went along with their suggestion of a lobster pasta dish for my husband and a varied cheese dish with broccoletti for me. They poured out 2 proseccos as an apéritif and we also had a glass of rosé wine each. We didn't know even how much we were going to pay and it seemed impolite to ask, so we just accepted the surprise. For the quality it seemed quite reasonable to pay 70 euros, and there was enough to eat. We thought though that we wouldn't take chances like that again and insist on choosing from a menu, or at least know the prices beforehand. We saw that the locals were not handed menus either, so maybe it's the done thing in this restaurant.

19/06/2025: Quite an elegant seafood restaurant located in the historic center of Frosinone. We sat abroad on the platform and we had a really good time, the owner and staff were really kind, they gave us excellent advice on both what to drink and what to eat. We had 2 double tartares as an appetizer, 1 maritozzo with tuna, caramelized onions, salad and cabbage (spectacular, I highly recommend it) and crostini with salmon, stracciatella and pistachios. As a main course 1 portion of pasta all'amatriciana with Sicilian tuna, 1 portion of pasta with swordfish, 1 portion of riccioli with broccoli. For dessert berries with chantilly cream. All combined with a bottle of rosé bubbles that the owner recommended to us Really compliments for the cuisine and the service, we will definitely be back

16/06/2025: Excellent quality fish, a bit of a long wait to eat but the dishes arrived very good so it was worth the wait. The only downside, the bathrooms!

27/04/2025: We went for lunch today with the Cemento tasting menu. I don't have much to say other than compliments to all the staff at the Essenza restaurant. It was a fantastic experience: the refined but relaxed environment, the impeccable, professional but also courteous and smiling room service, excellent wine recommendations! The dishes were wonderful for both the eye and the palate, and I must say that by the time we got to dessert we were beyond full. Heartfelt thanks to Chef Simone and all the staff

24/04/2025: I ate very well and the prices are in line with the very high level of the dishes. If for once you don't want to spare any expense I highly recommend it.

15/06/2025: Beautiful Sunday brunch. Great variety with quality ingredients. Meat, fish, fried food, vegetables...all delicious. Punctual service, kind and not intrusive. We had a great time.

13/06/2025: Exceptional. We had dinner for two, choosing the tasting menu. We left in a good mood, ecstatic thanks to the exquisiteness that each dish offered. 3 hours of dinner flew by like this, in the blink of an eye. Each course was always a surprise. Delicious. The staff and environment made us feel pampered as if we were at a dinner at home. Sad only in breaking the courses to eat them, they were works of art. Everything perfect ☺️

29/06/2025: Back here after many years, the restaurant is always a guarantee of welcome and quality of dishes, especially fish. Excellent proposals well executed and presented honest prices and owner and staff courteous and discreet, always like this!

21/06/2025: Quality cuisine, excellent raw materials, top-notch wine list. From the cod and chicory appetizer, to the spaghetti with parsley and red shrimp tartare, to the hidden tiramisu: great care in the dishes and their presentation. Welcoming place. Well done.

17/06/2025: Cozy cafeteria in Gaeta. Superb pastries and coffee. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and 1 delicious polacca and it cost 5 euros! Warm and friendly service by two ladies.

08/06/2025: Historic bar in Gaeta, quality products, friendly staff ready to advise you. Top top top their cappuccino and croissant, as well as a good coffee

21/06/2025: We went to eat at the locanda dell'arcangelo after trying the experience of fly in the Sky. The place is very beautiful, the staff very kind and the food very good! Among other things I am vegan and they made me various very good proposals such as fried polenta and a bruschetta with porcini mushrooms as an appetizer, a very good pasta with asparagus as a first course, I was very happy, I recommend it!!

07/06/2025: La Locanda dell’Arcangelo is a little gem nestled in the village of Rocca Massima, overlooking a breathtaking panorama. The flowered terraces, the lanterns that light up at sunset and the stairs that wind along the rock create a magical atmosphere, suspended between sky and nature. At the table, the quality does not disappoint: delicious appetizers, with special mention for the fried polenta, never banal proposals and carefully chosen ingredients. The pasta, probably homemade, is rich and well seasoned, while the fried lamb ribs are surprising for their crunchiness. The desserts are a chapter in themselves: apple tart with vanilla ice cream, caramel and cinnamon, and a crunchy millefeuille with berries and chantilly cream that conquers at the first bite. A special place where we will gladly return.
