This time I had a misunderstanding with the owner. The food was truly awful and the price was exorbitant. The fish wasn't just frozen, it was actually rubbery.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

18/01/2026: I visited Ruris and would like to personally thank Chef Natale Pallone for the wonderful welcome and attentive service from start to finish.
The cuisine is a true statement of identity: an extraordinary reinterpretation of traditional dishes, crafted with skill, balance, and respect for tradition, without ever being forced.
A delicate touch is clearly evident in the combinations, naturally showcasing each ingredient. The products used are genuine and of truly superior quality, and this makes all the difference in every course.
The setting is also worthy: a beautiful and refined location, a clean restaurant, meticulously maintained, and even the bathrooms are impeccable. Everything reflects the owner's love and care in his hospitality: there's a sense of order, attention, and respect for guests that is by no means a given these days.
The details also deserve special mention: the orange marmalade, simply exquisite, is one of those flavors that lingers in your memory and speaks of artisanal care and excellent ingredients.

31/12/2024: Mi recavo in questo ristorante attratto dalle recensioni molto positive. Partiamo dalla location, veramente elegante e suggestiva, atmosfera calda ed accogliente.
Il loro forte sono gli antipasti, davvero eccellenti. Abbiamo mangiato tra le altre cose, delle polpette sia fritte che al sugo davvero ottime, molto buona anche la polenta servita con funghi, affettati di alta qualità. Abbiamo continuato con i primi, ottimi i cavatelli fatti a mano con ragù, seguiti dagli gnocchi con fonduta di formaggio e pistacchio di bronte. Abbiamo assaggiato anche dei paccheri con funghi serviti sempre su fonduta di formaggio. Devo dire che lo chef ha un amore particolare dalla scelta presente, dei formaggi fusi, magari direi di non esagerare con questa tipologia di piatti, ma è una mia opinione, naturalmente. Ampia scelta di carni alla brace, ma non ci siamo arrivati, poiché l’ antipasto è davvero abbondante. Ottimo anche il dolce, anche se non di produzione propria. Dovessi ritornare, punterei sui funghi, il proprietario ha una grande passione. Tutto ottimo comunque. Servizio attento e cordiale. Il migliore in zona, sicuramente ed ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
30/12/2024: un bel ristorante anche se visto da fuori non sembra curato e piccolino , ma inaspettatamente all' interno e' un classico ristorante di montagna, curato e piacevole e spazioso. Personale super accogliente e del mestiere ,ti consigliano e ti guidano nella degustazione dei piatti che propongono gli chef. Ovviamente non può mancare il porcino in tutte le sue forme e il tartufo. Vino Rosato della casa scende bene. Antipasto della casa davvero ricco e gustoso.

29/03/2026: I stayed at the Hotel del Lago in Sila and had a truly pleasant experience. The property is in an enchanting location, ideal for families, surrounded by nature and overlooking a picturesque lake that offers relaxing views at any time of day.
The rooms are welcoming, clean, and well-maintained, equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The quiet and tranquility of the location make this hotel ideal for those who want to unwind and recharge.
The staff was friendly and helpful; Simone is always ready to satisfy every request with professionalism and courtesy. Compliments to the chef, Simone's wife, whom we didn't meet but who treated us to excellent dishes. The breakfast was also excellent, varied and made with quality products, perfect for starting the day with energy.
I highly recommend this hotel for both a romantic getaway and a relaxing holiday in the splendid setting of Sila. I will definitely be back!

13/10/2025: Delicious food but the service was excellent. Very nice and helpful owners, when we asked to order a taxi, they didn't even want to hear about it, they took us to Ciro Marina for the price of dinner and wine. Thank you again.

21/02/2026: After a conference, my family and I found ourselves having lunch at Mimmo's. The place is small and charming, with a calm and quiet atmosphere that encourages relaxation. The dishes are excellent and plentiful, with aromas that, in my opinion, are exquisite. We will definitely be back.
29/01/2026: I live in the North and I returned to Mimmo's after 10 years since the last time... Everything was delicious, the quality of the ingredients was excellent and the preparation was spectacular. (After years of restaurants, I didn't feel thirsty because of the excessive salt.) Superlative service with the owner and two really kind and capable guys in the dining room... Fair and honest prices... I'll be back and hopefully within another 10 years.

05/11/2025: It's a classic Anglo-Saxon-style pub housed in a renovated old warehouse.
They offer a wide variety of beers, both on tap and in bottles, from the best breweries.
The owners are true beer enthusiasts, so it's a pleasure to sample them at the bar while talking to them about the characteristics and origins of the beers.
The food is also excellent, with some rather unique dishes that pair perfectly with the beers.
They also offer an aperitif dinner, which I haven't had the chance to try yet.

21/02/2026: Exceptional food. From the appetizers to the main courses, to the meats and desserts, everything was truly excellent. The service was courteous and prompt despite the restaurant being packed. The prices were more than fair.
14/02/2026: One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten. The antipasti's just kept on coming and were all delicious. We skipped the primo, as we were already exploding, but the main course was also superb. The price of everything was also great. I have never seen a better value-for-money ratio for any restaurant.
