10/03/2026: Cod. A triumph of Vicenza cuisine. Supreme bigoli. Everything excellent, wisely ancient, elegant, and thoughtful, like the countryside that surrounds us. All in the early spring sunshine.
My (also) Vicenza nature awakens powerfully here.
09/03/2026: A must-visit restaurant for cod lovers, served beautifully in all versions, using only Lofoten stockfish. They also offer other interesting dishes, such as tripe soup in white wine, and excellent first and second courses. The only drawback is the wine list, which is a bit short, especially by the glass.

Amazing. It was recommended, and I strong recommend.
06/01/2026: For what it sets out to be, the restaurant is good. Cheap, fast, the food is okay - nothing spectacular, but well made. The restaurant is self-service, and they serve a select number of dishes until they run out. We arrived a bit late so we didn't have many options (but we were lucky to get the last 2 pieces of chicken). The staff are a bit rude, but it was the only place open in town (on a holiday). For tourists who want to have a "local" experience, I think it's a good option.

The restaurant serves excellent fish and meat dishes at attractive prices, also available for takeout. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always smiling.
You can also order takeout, or you can pick up your order yourself. Not only pizzas, but also:
Special sauces, fried foods, first courses, second courses, or side dishes.
The peppered mussels are also amazing for takeout.

The dinner was a true pleasure: beautifully crafted dishes, balanced and elegant flavors, and a clear attention to detail in every course. The service was attentive and refined without ever feeling intrusive, making the whole experience flow effortlessly.
I recommend La Favellina to anyone looking for a memorable evening of fine dining in the hills of Vicenza a place where cuisine, atmosphere, and hospitality come together seamlessly.

08/12/2025: This trattoria was recommended by a friend who lives in the area, and we tried it for lunch. On Sunday, the place, while not particularly large, was quite packed. The dining room is welcoming, but its strong points are the fast service, the smiling young staff, and the truly delicious dishes. We tried the lard crostone, the duck bigoli, the roast beef steak, and a delicious sbrisolona with mascarpone cream, which was truly exceptional. Prices and portions were fair; perhaps the side dishes were a bit pricey for the portion. Worth a try. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.

08/03/2026: Arrived at this pizzeria on Sunday evening at 7:30 PM with a table booked, the rest of the place already full. The staff were very friendly and delicious, the ordering was quick, and the pizzas were delivered as well. The place is very charming, having recently been renovated, with beautiful lighting and a lovely ambiance.
The Italian staff were very friendly and well-mannered, and the pizza was very good. All in all, excellent.

14/03/2026: The Tramonto room is new, beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The aperitif and lunch menus are excellent.
Alessia is extremely kind and helpful.
The farmhouse is close to the industrial area, but a lovely walk through the countryside and into the city center is within walking distance.
24/02/2026: A farmhouse with spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent service and on some days during the week it is possible to enjoy wonderful dishes with excellent raw materials and 0 km for dinner.

The dishes were surprisingly flavorful and presented with great originality.
Thanks also to Christian, the restaurant manager and sommelier, who accompanied us on this journey of extraordinary flavors.
A perfect evening. Definitely worth repeating.
