16/10/2025: A very friendly, authentic Italian pastry shop in the heart of Malcesine! My pistachio croissant was wonderfully creamy and aromatic, and my wife's chocolate croissant was equally delicious. Accompanied by a classic espresso or cappuccino – all traditionally made with cow's milk, unfortunately without any vegan alternatives. Nevertheless, the owner impresses with his calm, charismatic manner and creates a wonderfully relaxed, authentic Italian atmosphere. A place where you immediately feel welcome and will gladly return.

The menu offers fresh fish, meat, and well-prepared pizzas, offering good value for money considering the location. The staff is friendly and attentive. Ideal for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking views.

20/11/2025: The ambiance is great, there's really nothing to complain about there. The food, however, is a different story. I'm a big fan of Bavarian cuisine, but the pork knuckle and ribs were very dry and had clearly been on the grill for a while. The sides, like potato salad and sauerkraut, were rather subpar. Otherwise, it's self-service like a cafeteria. So, service is practically nonexistent. All in all, it's not really good value for money. I'd like to go once, but I don't need to go again.

15/11/2025: A quiet place to eat good quality food. The price is a bit high for what they offer, as it's a diner-style place where you walk by with a tray and bring your own food to the table. Paid €28 for a half chicken, sausage, fries, and a Coke.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

17/09/2025: Typically Italian! Super delicious food, especially for the price! Absolutely amazing value for money. We visited here several times during our vacation, and it was our favorite restaurant because it was absolutely amazing value for money. The service is friendly, and the herbs are picked directly from the garden. You could see it being picked. Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: We're served bottled tap water, treated with the Culligan system, at the "modest" price of €3.20! The bottle is clearly dirty inside. We ask for sealed bottled water and are told they only have that type of water. This alone would deserve a lower rating. The veranda overlooking the lake has a central iron band that effectively blocks the view. The male staff isn't friendly, and a few more smiles wouldn't hurt. The pizza (Neapolitan style) is good, and the food, overall, is good (which is what matters!).

08/12/2025: In the summer, when it's hot, this place is ideal because it has a veranda suspended over the rushing waters of the world's shortest river. It's a bit lower than the road, so the traffic isn't too disruptive, though you can hear it a bit. The staff is friendly enough, though they get a bit lost when it's crowded. Unfortunately, the pizza isn't great; it's fine for the many foreign tourists who come here, but for an Italian, it's rubbery.

14/10/2025: Pizzeria Aril in Cassone is a delight every time! Fresh ingredients, everything prepared with love. For me, a visit here is simply a must for any stay on Lake Garda. Highly recommended.

24/02/2026: Expect seafood cuisine like our mothers and grandmothers used to prepare. Everything is truly delicious. The mussel soup is excellent. I'll be back soon. The staff is excellent and very friendly.

01/10/2025: We were on vacation in Malcesine at the end of September 2025, but not at this hotel. We lost our bag containing our debit card and cell phone near the hotel. Hotel guests left it at the reception. Guests and the hotel reception staff initially tried to contact us by phone and email. This allowed us to quickly and easily retrieve our valuables. Thank you very much 😀

10/10/2025: Excellent little bar. we discovered this bar in 2023 we were served by Leo, lovely friendly polite young guy, we returned this year and he recognised us straight away which is so nice after two years!! Loved sitting people watching here. Very relaxed atmosphere and brilliant drink options!! Will definitely be back on our next trip to malcesine 🥂🍻🥃🍹 thank you Gabriele and Leo 🙂

08/10/2025: We've been eating here for almost 30 years. The food is excellent. The staff is very friendly, it's a family business. We'll definitely be back, although not this year, as it's currently closed for the winter.
