06/04/2024: Despite the kitchen closing at 2:30 p.m., we were still warmly welcomed at 2:15 p.m. and were also allowed to eat. And it was worth it. The food was very good and the pasta was fresh. The service was outstanding and the price was perfectly reasonable for homemade pasta. We paid €225 for 7 people with drinks and 2 desserts (including tip). We can highly recommend this slightly hidden restaurant. And also the associated delicatessen, where we immediately grabbed the Rose Balsamico. An all-round successful lunch. Thank you.

08/01/2024: We had lunch on New Year's Day, choosing a first course from the menu, pumpkin tortelloni, and another off-menu with prawns. We were sorry to discover that what was written outside the restaurant, i.e. homemade pasta, actually turned out to be untrue. In particular, the off-menu dish did not satisfy us due to the way it was prepared. The desserts were good We hope that it was an unfortunate case attributable to the particularly busy day and after the busy evening of New Year's Eve.

04/04/2024: Although I would have preferred a larger room and bathroom, the service and location are great throughout. Thanks to those at reception who gave us excellent information for our stay. Good pizza at the restaurant and breakfast. I will definitely be back!

10/11/2023: 2* place charging 5* prices .Front room tiny no balcony looking to cark park,could not swing a cat no table or chairs.Very noisy outside,bottle bins collection starts about 3.30 am and that's your sleep over,no way a relaxing quite holiday dogs all over the place allowed.Breakfast staff lovely pity the breakfast is so limited and boring same everyday the seven days we had to spend there.One day would have been enough.We ate dinner in the restaurant for 6 nights spending on average 100euro + on food and drinks On Thursday night we had dinner again and drinks paid waiter who we had order dinner and drinks from.We decided to have a few more drinks in restaurant.We ordered 2 drinks and got talking to waiter with the pony tail,he told us he goes travelling in the months when this 2 star closes for a couple of months,then we handed him 10euro for the drinks he put the money in his top pocket he did not come back with change or receipt,we passed no remarks it's normal enough everywhere.We sat there for a while chatting and enjoying our drinks and decided to call 2 more,the owner whom we liked came down demanding payment for 4 drinks we said we payed for the last drinks but he started a big scene he said we called him MOBSTERS a word which we or anybody we know in Ireland ever used the only time we ever heard Mobsters is in Black and white movies from a way way back.To say we are and still shocked after this horrible time in the Alpino 2 star place is a very understatement.We did not eat in this 2* again and we were glad to get out of it.To think we spent lots and lots of money in this place and to try and not pay for 2 drinks worth less than 10euro in a foreign country I will leave that up to yourselves to decide.We will never go to this 2* Alpino in Malchesine Lake Garda again and having been to Italy on seven previous occasions with no hassle like this or any other holiday we have been on.Italy sadly is a country we will never return to again.We are still in deep shock.il

24/03/2024: Very central! Open out of season, as early as December 2023. Excellent cuisine, pizza, meat or fish, it's all delicious and elegantly presented. Very kind and smiling staff. Pet friendly.

16/03/2024: Room equipped with a new outdoor area but with a view of the street. The interior of the restaurant is ancient and not modern. Presence of workers during lunch time. The pizza was excellent as was the service.

04/04/2024: The best pizzeria/restaurant during our whole trip at the Garda Lake. Really friendly staff, fresh and super tasty food. And the pizza dough was heaven. Best pizza I have eaten in a very long time! I will definetly visit again :)

19/10/2023: The rooms are newly renovated and have lake views, but the restaurant is really not delicious during the non-peak season, and the portions are very small, so you can only fill up on bread.

06/10/2023: We visited first in May and went back in October because we loved it so much. A simple and honest place with flavourful dishes for a decent price. When we are in the neighbourhood, we will definitely return!

04/10/2023: I give 4.5 stars. I can recommend the pizzeria. My reasons for this: good food, good pizzas, nice service. I/we don't need any more. Nonna (in German, grandma) still cooks here. Purely family-run restaurant. If you value a nice ambience and a beautiful view, you are unfortunately in the wrong place here. Kept very simple. Toilet clean. You can tell beforehand that the pizzeria is right on the street. That's why I can't understand such negative reviews. You also have to bring a little time with you, as there isn't a lot of staff (3 employees, waitress, cook, pizza maker). Prices very moderate.
