05/05/2026: We were absolutely thrilled with the hotel: the view, the room furnishings, the restaurant, the pool, and the breakfast – everything was top-notch and left nothing to be desired. We will definitely be back and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay!

18/02/2026: A very good hotel in the pretty village of Malcesine.
The room with a street view also has a mountain view. It's well-furnished, with a wardrobe, comfortable beds, a full bathroom with a bidet, and a comfortable shower.
There's a very good restaurant on the ground floor. The staff is very friendly.

03/05/2026: We entered here upon the advise of a store owner few steps away, thinking that we had 50/50 in the middle of the busy, touristy area in Malcesine. Well, glad we did. The place had a very nice backyard with shade that made our lunch a very nice experience. Both food and service were beyond what you find on typical tourist areas. Very nice wine list also. I would definitely eat here again.

08/10/2025: We've been eating here for almost 30 years. The food is excellent.
The staff is very friendly, it's a family business. We'll definitely be back, although not this year, as it's currently closed for the winter.

21/05/2025: The price-performance ratio is good. We ordered lasagna, pizza, and schnitzel, all very tasty. The cost for food and drinks was around €10-20 per person. With an appetizer, it would be €20-30.

Hotel guests left it at the reception. Guests and the hotel reception staff initially tried to contact us by phone and email. This allowed us to quickly and easily retrieve our valuables. Thank you very much 😀

07/04/2026: Stopped by for an Aperol and enjoyed an authentic Italian experience. The staff were very friendly and the location perfect. The fact that Italians were also enjoying a meal and espresso ☕️ made the experience that much nicer.
Can recommend stopping in for a snack and drinks.

Café Malcesine impresses with its very friendly service, delicious coffee, and a small but excellent selection of cakes and dishes. The relaxed atmosphere is especially inviting; perfect for a short break or a cozy get-together. You can tell that they put love into what they do here. Highly recommended! :-)

03/05/2026: This is one of those ideal settings that are not easy to match anywhere else. We found an incredible view of the lake, enclosed in a glass cage with no roof so the wind wouldn't bother us...The service was extremely good as well as the delicious food. To my surprise we found an very good wine selection that made my day unforgettable. We fell in love with this town and this restaurant. Cant wait to be back!

The restaurant, which is part of the Castello Hotel, is located in the historic center, on the lakeside, so it can only be reached on foot.
Elegant atmosphere, splendid lake views, especially at sunset.
Fish (lake and other), meat, and vegetarian menus are available.
I found the asparagus flan delicious.
Fairly priced.

10/10/2025: We've always been satisfied. When ordering drinks, they simply mix the larger drink, and when they ask why the price doesn't match the menu, they just say it's a different size. It's a shame they don't ask beforehand or point out on the menu that there are different sizes.
10/10/2025: Something different from the tourist cafés. The paragliders provided good entertainment. The Aperol Spritz was delicious, and we were particularly pleasantly surprised by the spaghetti carbonara.

11/05/2026: We immediately felt at ease, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. What more could you want? All the other tourists who try to rip us off could definitely learn a thing or two from this place.
11/05/2026: Great atmosphere on Lake Garda. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. Each guest received a complimentary glass of Aperol Spritz at the beginning and a complimentary Krappa just before paying. The food was very tasty and good. Prices were normal for Lake Garda. We had a lovely evening.
