29/05/2025: Unfortunately, we were seduced by the positive reviews. My wife's grilled vegetables were cooked for far too short a time, and the pasta was subpar. The best part of our not-so-great experience at this restaurant came last. We asked the waiters twice for the bill. Only after more than 20 minutes, when we stood up and signaled to leave, did they finally rush to collect our money. Before that, the five waiters walked past us at least 15 times. They couldn't have been overwhelmed, as the place wasn't exactly full. Unfortunately, the restaurant won't be welcoming us back, even though the ambiance is truly magnificent with a view of Lake Garda.

22/05/2025: We had a pizza here for lunch, which was delicious and highly recommended. The location right on the lake is also beautiful.
However, in our opinion, the service could have been much improved. The waiters seemed very listless and unmotivated, almost unfriendly, in their service. We didn't even get the usual "bread." (Some other tables did.)
All in all, despite the good food, we didn't really feel comfortable there.
12/05/2025: Amazing place, with very delicious food and friendly welcoming service! I enjoyed my dinner. Panacotta was top of the top!
I had risotto, a small jar of home wine, and a dessert. Paid 32 euro.
Received a compliment of a shot of limoncello. Nice!

Was eaten too quickly for a photo sorry but a reflection of how good it was!

27/04/2025: Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel Querceto e abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo che è il ristorante interno.
La cena è stata molto piacevole, vista lago nonostante le temperature non caldissime perché la possibilità di chiudere la sala con vetrate consente di godere sempre di uno splendido panorama.
La cucina è assolutamente originale ed appagante, offre menù di carne e di pesce, e piatti vegetariano, con utilizzo di prodotti locali. Noi abbiamo optato per piatti a base di pesce, tutti molto curati e deliziosi.
Il servizio è attento e discreto, l'atmosfera romantica.
Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

09/05/2025: Highly recommended. Professional, very friendly service. We drove up by car. Nice route. Parking space directly in front of the house. Our dog was also very welcome. We'd love to come back.
04/05/2025: We stayed at the Locanda Monte Baldo in Malcesine and had a really great time! Enchanting place, with a spectacular view of Lake Garda which alone is worth the visit.
The welcome was warm and friendly, and we were really struck by the attention paid to the families: the staff was very kind and made us feel at ease right from the start. They also have menus suitable for children and high chairs, which is not always a given.
We really liked the food: refined and sophisticated dishes with fresh ingredients, with a dish that satisfied not only the palate but also the sight.
I absolutely recommend this place!

21/10/2024: Great place but unfortunately not everything is always there. The prices are a bit odd. Beer in the plastic cup is really not great now. But the location itself with the central landing point for the paragliders makes up for everything 😀😃

20/05/2025: Il ristorante non si trova nella zona turistica diretta, ma fa sicuramente punteggio con il suo servizio e la sua cucina. Il ristorante può essere sicuramente consigliato, gli antipasti e i secondi piatti erano buoni e il servizio era ottimo.
21/04/2025: Hotel very well located in the center of Malcesine, we have been very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean. Thank Tony, Guadalupe and Andrea for being so kind throughout our stay there! The restaurant is also very good, especially the pizzas!

20/04/2025: Posto bellissimo ma il cibo a veva un gusto molto strano, gli gnocchi erano annacquati. Il pesce spada aveva un gusto molto amaro.
I solbetti anche essi erano molto amari e la crema catalana aveva un gusto molto strano.
Poi pagare due coche in vetro 11€ è un prezzo molto esagerato.

The food was very tasty, my family enjoyed it. We had pizza marinara, pizza salamino picante, lasagne, spaghetti carbonara, pizza tuna, everyone enjoyed it.
Service:
The service is nice, friendly, polite.
Ambiance:
You can choose where you want to sit (we could because it was still free), you can sit in a restaurant or on Lake Garda.

The service is very good, and you'll be served in Italian, English, and German!
04/05/2025: Would not recommend this place at all. Staff very inattentive. Even managed to miss one of the courses. Had to call the waiter to clean the plates, bring the desert menu, etc. Food below average.

30/08/2024: I only rate the hamburger and fries among the dishes.
Compared to hamburger joints in Hungary / Budapest, it is a huge disappointment. (Average there: 10/7, this place would get: 10/2 for these dishes). It only got 2 points because of the portion size.
It is tasteless, dry, and does not come with homemade sauce. Sorry, but it tastes like a tragedy. Unfortunately, the fries too.
Answer to the owner:
1. I put the bike NEXT to the outside bench so that they could sit on it comfortably: i.e. I didn't put it in front of it, so that it wouldn't disturb anyone.
2. On the menu, under the ingredients of the hamburgers, the term sauce is mentioned. Which, according to my understanding, is not the same as ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. which are finished products. I would recommend developing/using a homemade sauce, which makes any hamburger much tastier. :)
3. Inside, I took a seat at the table where I was sitting, because there were a total of 2 other people inside besides me. I think the number of seats inside exceeded 10.
Obviously, I would have moved to another table if necessary, so I could see the bike.
25/08/2024: Super tasty. The Piadines are recommended. Very rich and you can taste that everything is freshly prepared.

26/09/2024: Wenn man an diesem Restaurant entlanggeht würde man im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes wahrscheinlich „weitergehen“, wenn man nicht die Bewertungen hier gelesen oder eine Empfehlung von guten Freunden bekommen hätte. Italienische Orginalität, das ist diese Pizzeria. Wunderbar… der Besitzer Mario ist ein echtes Original und das Essen ist wunderbar. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, der Chef die ganze Zeit präsent und läuft zwischendurch nochmal schnell zum Spar nach nebenan, weil er merkt, dass die Melone ausgeht… grandios :-)
Wir hatten Vitello, Pizza und Spaghetti. Alles war sehr lecker. Bitte nicht von der Lage abschrecken lassen, die Pizzeria liegt an der Hauptstraße und es ist vielleicht etwas lauter, aber originaler Genuss ist hier garantiert. Darauf trinken wir gern noch einen Limincello. Salute ;-)
13/09/2024: Dopo una gita sul Monte Baldo è d'obbligo cenare in questo ristorante dove ospitalità e cordialità non mancano di certo. Le pizze sono di ottima qualita' cosi come gli altri piatti. Il simpatico titolare "Marione" e il suo staff professionale ti fanno venire la voglia di ritornarci.
Da consigliare a tutti.

17/12/2024: Ein tolles Restaurant in direkter Seelage. Riesige Auswahl an Pizza und Pasta. Freundlicher und schneller Service. Die Kinder waren auch ganz begeistert. Preis/Leistung stimmt.
16/10/2024: Update 2024: improved service and food, too bad that next year the temporary closure for works is planned. We will wait for 2026! 2022. Always a nice place but: slowness and distraction of the staff. The dish of a diner had been forgotten, none of the waiters had noticed that it was missing from the table... Dry and burnt pizza, linguine allo scoglio good but a little lacking in pasta. Let's hope it improves and returns to being our ---> 2021: favorite inn on the lake!
