18/11/2025: Very kind staff, very fast service. They mad one of the best Carbonara and Lasagna what we ever ate. Carbonara sauce is just perfect and delicious, the pasta was super al dente and the Lasagna was just the best. Nice texture, nice portion and well made sauce. The price is a little bit high, but you get a wonderful view and it totally wort it. "Complimenti!"

17/10/2025: We had bad experience with this place. The waiter was annoying and inappropriately invited passersby in. The worst thing was paying, when we gave the waiter a tip even after this experience, he still entered the wrong amount into the terminal and purposefully robbed us of 4 euros. This experience has never happened to me and I strongly do not recommend the restaurant, even it was at good location…

12/10/2025: Cassone sul Fiume Restaurant: where the lake becomes poetry at the table. Mariapia recommended the imperial platter: a truly regal choice with excellent lake fish, cooked with style! We won't forget this dish, or her!

20/08/2025: Not a pleasant experience, even in retrospect. We booked dinner at this restaurant yesterday based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, the service was completely inattentive. After the appetizer, we were asked which dessert we would like before the main course, and the main course arrived almost immediately after the appetizer without the usual pause. We all had diarrhea that night; we all drank the same water at the restaurant, which was served in an unsealed bottle. One might suspect foul play. The food itself was also unappetizing, lacking any flavor whatsoever.

03/09/2025: This café exudes vacation! As soon as you walk in, Italian music and a rustic, beachy decor invite you to linger. The lady at the bar is a real sweetheart! She welcomes her guests warmly, the drinks are as full as anywhere else, and the value for money is simply top-notch! We've been incredibly impressed and happy every time we've been there. You get value for your money here! The locals themselves enjoy going there, which further adds to the Italian flair.

11/01/2026: My review focuses more on the service; I understand a delay of 5-10 minutes, but not 20-25 minutes. 50 minutes for a sandwich is excessive. You have to be clear and not "cheat" on the timing. If I had known, I would have gone somewhere else. I recommend a watch.

07/12/2025: Unfortunately, this sandwich didn't meet my expectations. At first glance, it's decidedly unappealing: the bread looks like packaged supermarket bread, without any toasting or distinctive flavor. The main problem, however, is the content. The burger has the appearance and texture of a processed, industrial product (the classic pre-cooked 'Swiss' patty) rather than fresh or artisanal meat; it's gray and seemingly dry. The toppings are minimal: a single slice of tomato, a few wilted lettuce leaves, and a smear of sauce (ketchup?) poorly distributed on the bread. It completely lacks character, juiciness, and attention to presentation. A real shame. PS: The battered vegetables on the children's menu are too spicy and peppery.

18/11/2025: My dad and I went to this restaurant on a November afternoon. All the other restaurants in the area were closed due to the off-season, so we decided to try this one, simply because it was open. We travel frequently and have tried many different restaurants and cuisines, and this is honestly one of the worst we've ever been to. The man working there insisted the food was fresh, as if we couldn't tell the difference. Everything was completely bland. The raw salmon tasted like it had been defrosted after sitting in the freezer for too long. No amount of salt or pepper could cover the unmistakable aftertaste of low-quality ingredients. They even said they would close for the season in a few days and were out of stock on most of the menu items—so it's no surprise they weren't investing in fresh ingredients for their final days of opening. Every single thing we ordered ranged from unpalatable to completely flavorless to bitter. But nothing was as bitter as the waiter's attitude. He was incredibly rude. When we went to pay, he handed us the bill without even looking at us—no words, no glances, not even the slightest gesture of kindness or respect. A truly cheerful guy who definitely enhanced the experience. Don't set foot in this place unless your standards are really, really low.

10/10/2025: Best pizza in Malcesine! I had the mascarpone e crudo pizza! It was fantastically good and huge! The service was very friendly. I'm still dreaming about this pizza and looking forward to my next visit.

20/10/2025: Fast service, good value for money. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable, and the waiter (a bit older) could use some practice smiling. The younger waitresses were very friendly and always with a smile. Otherwise, a very nice atmosphere.

10/10/2025: We had a great meal with vitello tonnato as a starter...very tasty and a huge portion...and then a pizza that was also perfect...plenty of toppings and crispy. The house red wine was also very good, albeit a bit pricey at €12 for a half liter, but the atmosphere made up for it 👍 we would come again 😉

23/10/2025: The food is nothing special, but the service is terrible because they even dare to comment on how someone sits and how they eat their meal. The comments made by the staff, and especially the public ones, towards the customer are slightly inappropriate.

22/10/2025: Please, not... that bad! The fillet had no flavor. The pizza chef took a bowl out of the fridge, looked inside, and pulled a face! The spaghetti caramel was also terrible. Still Coke. You don't need to go there!

30/08/2025: Nice enough place, 1 Spritz and 1 Hugo were watered down for €12, and the fries were a ridiculous portion; if all goes well, there were 6 fries, some of which were soft and had gotten damp. The staff was rude and disorganized; we waited 15 minutes to order. The fries were left out in the open, unhygienic and unappealing. I definitely won't be going there again.
