We had lunch for two, ordering polenta with mushrooms and cheese and trout with polenta and green beans. We also had sparkling water and two coffees. We spent 44 euros. A bit pricey considering we didn't even order an appetizer, but the food was very good.

Nonna has left the building! I decided to go to dinner here after reading the reviews and it was ok… nothing was wrong but I wasn’t blown away by the food like the reviews were suggesting. Similar vibe to many of the other restaurants here.

Spectacular evening, we were there on vacation and intrigued by the excellent reviews we decided to have dinner there, exceptional pumpkin ravioli, superb meat main courses, truly an excellent dinner, simple but very fast service like in a trattoria, a trattoria like it used to be 👍 we recommend booking because it's really worth it. (The fish is also worth it) I tried the stuffed squid with pea cream and nothing, nor would I have eaten another 15!!! Compliments, there's just one small negative point... in my opinion the price... it's €10-15 too much on the final bill, but it's justified by the quality of the food.

Lovely little restaurant with good food but not so great service. We looked up good restaurants in the area and based on the reviews we expected a lot more but unfortunately we didn’t feel welcome in this restaurant. We were rushed and many times ignored when asking questions. They’re not that great at accommodating small requests.

Being in the center of Malcesine at lunchtime, we luckily found a place to have lunch without a reservation. The very kind staff greeted us and quickly found us a table.
The restaurant isn't particularly large, but it's cozy. The menu isn't extensive, but I assure you, it's very good.
We had two first courses: pumpkin ravioli with butter and almond flakes, and tagliatelle with wild boar ragù. Both were delicious.
I recommend this place. Excellent.

If you want to enjoy authentic Italian food and avoid the typical tourist traps, this is a great place for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is family-owned and run by a local who was born in the village, which gives the whole experience a very genuine and welcoming feel.
If you have the chance, also try his mother’s restaurant just around the corner—you can ask him for the address.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was okay. But our food was bad. The lasagna and pasta were extremely overcooked, the noodles were sticky, and the whole thing tasted awful. Some of the pasta was also cold—probably microwaved.
I really wouldn't recommend it.
